Ordered front entry door. It took over a month to arrive at store. I then set up to have it delivered. As CRAZY as it seems, Home Depot gave me a delivery day but could not give me anything better than A 14 HOUR DELIVERY WINDOW!!! That's insane and MUCH worse than any other delivery service, utility companies, cable company, etc. I get a call at 11:40 AM from delivery driver, and he says I will be the next stop, he's on the way and will be there in 15 to 20 minutes. More than 4 hours later (it's now almost 4 PM) and no delivery, no phone call, no nothing. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and that's saying something. Congrats Home Depot - you made the cable company look awesome!

As a homeowner, I get tired of spending thousands of dollers yearly with Home Depot, just to receive poor customer service from the many employees at the Neptune location.Steve, the CSR is rude and has no true desire to be attentive to all customers.I wanted to ask a question about ordering 10 frosted glass door slabs, but was immediately told he was too busy with another customer and that I would need to make it quick.Please hire other homeowners who understand the needs of people.

I redid my kitchen and floors. Very simple with the best price and everything arrivd on time. There is an issue with their website search that's annoying

Customer Service Complaint – Home Depot at Armitage & Cicero

I’m writing to complain about the customer service I received at the Home Depot location on Armitage and Cicero.

I went to purchase a speaker that came with a free battery as part of a promotion. The speaker was in a locked cage, so I asked an employee for assistance. The first employee did not seem willing to help and appeared unsure about how the promotion worked. She asked another employee for help and told me that he was the only person who knew how to handle it.

I waited about 10 minutes while they tried to figure everything out. At that point, I asked if there was someone else who could help because I had already been waiting. I continued waiting, and by then it had been around 15 minutes just trying to get the item ready to purchase.

I eventually asked another employee for help. He was able to figure out the promotion and the purchase, but then walked away and told me that someone would ring me up.

I waited another 10 minutes. When the employee who was supposed to help me saw me waiting, she walked away in the opposite direction. At that point, I had been waiting long enough and decided to leave without making my purchase.

What made the experience even more frustrating was seeing a group of employees nearby laughing and having a good time while I was standing there waiting for someone to simply help me complete my purchase.

I understand that employees can have conversations and enjoy their workplace, and I’m not expecting everyone to stop what they’re doing. However, I was a customer who had already spent a significant amount of time waiting. I wasn't asking for anything complicated—I just wanted someone to help me get the item out, apply the promotion correctly, and ring me up so I could pay and leave.

I hope management will look into what happened at this location and address the lack of customer service. I would appreciate being contacted regarding this experience.

Ordered new appliances online. Washer and Dryer got delivered. Right after delivery washer started leaking all over the brand new floor. Called CS immediately, always kept on hold for long periods of time, that's their MO, you're lucky if they even answer the phone. They couldn't reach the delivery team to come back because no one would answer at the warehouse.(ARE YOU KIDDING?) Finally got it resolved WEEKS later. Along with this, the new refrigerator they delivered leaked. Had to leave me with the leaker for weeks and WAIT AGAIN for a replacement. After weeks of dealing with delivery issues on their 3rd attempt to deliver they couldn't find the house and gave up so they're going try to redeliver next week. Called and spoke to the manager, she was rude to even try to deal with. The drivers can't turn around and try to redeliver because they are only allowed to drive so many hours. (OH, RIGHT, what was I thinking.) Home Depot is a clown town. I will NEVER order appliances from them online again. Upper management is quite USELESS.
Suprisingly after the last appliance finally got delivered, the UPPER MANAGEMENT person called and gave me 15% off the appliances I had issues with and apologized for all theproblems. Praise the Lord! That definitely helped my feelings towards the whole situation and HD Management.

While I love Home Depot, their credit card payment site is terrible. I'm constantly being being flipped around and need to sign in again. I've had auto pay and payments can't be adjusted. It is totally not customer friendly. I've had to log out and do a phone payment. Please make it for the people!!👍👍

DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE OR EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM HOME DEPOT. I purchased a GE Profile front load washer in May, 2025. I purchased extended warranty also, serviced by Allstate. My washer has developed a scum on the outside of the drum and under the rubber seal. A technician was sent and he told me it happens on some models. The store should replace the unit. I did not get the technician report in writing. I have been told it is a maintenance issue. I did not properly maintain the washer. They are not able to tell me what I did not do. I followed maintenance instructions per manual. Home Depot or Allstate will not replace unit.
I have been dealing with this for a month. The corporate office said they could send a technician at my expense. Gone are the days of quality appliances and sellers standing behind products. I am buying a new washer from an appliance store next. BEWARE! Check out review done by Good Housekeeping for Home Depot.

Bought damn near 400 dollars of Pex Pipe and sharkbite couplings. They delivered it to my neigbors from hell when my job site was already prepped. They told me to go grab it from my neighbors who has pointed guns at us in the past over a dog and I told home depot we live in the forest and it was late. I cannot just show up to someone elses property and demand my stuff that wrongfully got delivered over there. I told them it was dangerous so they told me to call the police and then go over to my neighbors. That there was nothing they could do.

I had a great experience especially the order part.

My mom paid $5000 ,for decking material for a 12×24 deck on her house. Been saving for years. On social security. 72 years old. The guy AT HOME DEPOT said he was an ex builder. He told her everything she would need and even dru her prints by hand. I was worried, so I called and talked to the guy. Hey said his guy that picks the materials is the best and would throw stuff out and make sure i get straight stuff. NOPE. They brought it out on the semi end dropped it. I opened it up and was not happy. I build apartments for a living. 4×6's twisted and crappy cracked everywhere. 2x10's for decking crowned so bad I couldn't make them straight as I went. Not even with the help of Jesus. I work for a big company that has an account with them. But my mom????? DON'T EVER LET THEM PULL YOUR LUMBER. Pre built railing was twisted as well. Trying to get it straight with extra metal hangers, at my expense. No go! I even rattle canned my hardware black to look cool to match awesome lights we put on the tops of the posts. I'm not happy and I know she is very sad 😞 $5000 worth of stuff that they put together that nobody wants. I wonder why.

Worse customer service when asking for assistance. I went to 4 works to get assistance on removing a lock to get a power tool.all the workers did when I asked them was call over the speaker for assistance at aisle 15. It took over 30 min to get somebody to unlock the power tool section

Bought a fridge from HD and purchased the extended service warranty with it. As expected the fridge ice maker failed and I had to rely on this useless extended warrant coverage through ALLSTATE. Its all AI generated and after 55 minutes back and forth, with 3-8 minute delays between each response, they refused to send a repairman out and told me to defrost the fridge and call them back with the results. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS !!! The last appliance I will ever buy from HD

We had a dishwasher set to be delivered and installed. Today was the 3rd delivery and returned of a damaged item. Every time there was at least a week to get a another delivery and each time we had to stay at home for the delivery. We are cancelling the order and going elsewhere.

I don't know whontheae 2 guys were that delivered but they were awful. First they stopped out front. Then they left side I thought they unloaded and left. Then I heard a noise out back. I saw the truck was out back. They were in your driveway were my golf cart was parked. They lifted/ dragged my cart. When I saw them doing that I told them to stop. The large guy started giving me a hard time. Very disrespectful. I told them I would move it if needed. I also said they didn't need to move it as it was way over to the side and I had to take the flooring on anyway. Then both kept giving me a hard time even as I moved the cart. They were saying how it was an outdoor delivery and I told them I understood that. There was no reason for them to touch my cart and get nasty with me the whole time they were here. Muttering crap the whole time! I have never had a problem with deliver people like this before!!!

Had my client in Crystal River Florida place an order from the Home Depot over there, was charged $87.00 for delivery. My order was delivered by 3 different trucks for an order i could have put all of it in the bed of my truck to be truthful. Part of my order was some aluminum fascia that was so bent up by the time it was delivered that I couldn't get a 5 foot piece out of 10 footer.Said something to driver and he just shrugs his shoulders. So I take this material for a return and request the delivery manger that also doesn't care. I wanted to talk with him about dropping the delivery charge since they cost me about $500.00 on this day and question him on why this order came in 3 different trucks at all different times. I will recommend any more clients to order from Home Depot, there is also no place to park if you have a truck and trailer, those spots have rental equipment lined up in them. So if you are a contractor or handyman, this hardware store doesn't really care if they get your business and it shows.

Customer Support is terrible. After getting past the AI and getting a phone to ring, nobody would talk on the line for a minute. After explaining my case he put me on hold for 23 minutes, I just hung up, you can keep my $110 dollars.

bought an LG dishwasher. The door seal leaked immedieately. After 3 months of going in circles for the warranty, I contacted the coropate office direclty. 1-800 319-8108. Richard returned my call the next day and says he will be helping me

Edited to Add: I was forced to write this review. Richard would not talk to me about my warranty until he could see the above text with a 5 star review. He just kept pushing and pushing. Under duress I eventually wrote the above, with the additional line of "we shall see". And he legit made me delete the "we shall see part" before he would continue the call. 4 months ago, when I first tried to file this claim, they tried to convince me that a small leak is normal. In what world is any water coming out under the dishwasher door normal? And then I been bounced around through phone trees, bots, customer service people reading scripts in broken English, email address and text numbers that I was told to send things to that I got error messages that they don't exist. And on the end, instead of replacing one little gasket, they want to replace the entire unit. Because they can't get the replacement part. How the frick do you sell something that you can't replace parts. Wtf do I do when the warranty runs out and something break? The dishwasher is literally unfixable, even with a very minor problem. I've never experienced anything even remotely like this. I will never buy LG again.

IF i could leave a NEGATIVE 5 I would! Incompetent! Every one of them! DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT! I bought a dryer, paid extra for delivery and setup. Explained the instructions several time to call before delivery. My delivery window was 8am to 8pm.....well I had to go to work. They were told to call and I asked if this was possible, and they AGREED to call 30 minutes before delivery.......NO CALL and attempted delivery. So now they want me to call back tomorrow to reschedule delivery, NOT deliver but reschedule after a 2 week wait already. NO, I JUST CANCELLED my order!!!! DO NOT BUY!!! DO NOT BUY!!! they are not smart enough to follow instructions and want to put you out for their stupidity. NEVER AGAIN will I buy from Home Depot!

Customer service is terrible. Can never find employees. And don't ever order delivery unless you want to be stood up and waste entire days for people that aren't coming. And don't get me started on their customer service phone number. Just an all around terrible company that shouldn't exist in a world where competition does.
