The delivery was so slow, the delivery date stated when ordering was not the date the items were delivered. Your courier service needs improving. Poor

We have just purchased a new kitchen. The service we received from Paul in the Bodmin kitchen department was first class. From coming out to measure our kitchen, to spending time with us in store to discuss the design and helping with colour schemes, his help and advice has been amazing. Thank you so much! what could have been really stressful, has been made easy.

Click and collected a Keter storage box. Staff very helpful and put item in the car for me. Got it home and noticed lots of water in the boot of my car. Thought it was just rain water on the packaging. Carried it through the house and more water poured out all over the carpet. Took the packaging off and it was soaked through. Had to dry it off with a towel. Went to open the instructions and they were completely destroyed with water. So maybe Homebase keep your stock under cover and keep it in a sellable condition?

Nipped in this morning for some paint and rollers.bif display on the end of first aisle 10 litre emulsion £14 along the bottom of shelf. Picked up a tub and rollers went to pay. The price seemed a lot more than I expected. Asked for the paint price and the guy said. £26 I said the shelf said it's £14. All I got back was no it's not in very abrupt and rude voice, If I've read the sign wrong that's fine with me, but there was no offer to check the signs or labels, no I'm sorry you may have misread the sign. Just a very rude "No it's not". I then said Ill leave the paint then and he then started huffing and re doing my order crashing through my other items. I understand sometimes retail is stressful as I work in similar job. But not once today was I rude or not friendly but the 2 minutes at the till have really played on my mind all day. Hopefully he has a better day tomorrow

Mandy in Bodmin was soooooooo helpful when we returned some paint, she made it quick and easy! Thanks so much Mandy, she is a credit to you.

We regularly visit the store in Bodmin & generally are very pleased with the choice & quality of items available. The staff are also friendly & helpful.
However, the store itself is not kept very clean, & the fault with that must surely lie with the local & regional senior management. It's clear that birds have previously managed to get in the store, & for many months now (at least 6), there has been dried bird muck aplenty on the floor & more alarmingly on some of the products for sale. Do the management walk around with their eyes closed as it doesn't take much to clean the mess up.
Come on Homebase, you can surely do better, your loyal customers & staff deserve it.

Paid for click and collect, drove the 18 miles and when i got there one item was missing and the other was damaged,it couldn't be replaced as it was the last one so the lady on customer services took £1 off but if i knew the items weren't there or damaged id have cancelled my order and not bothered, very disappointed

Jo was so helpful in showing me where the cable ties were… saved me wandering aimlessly around the store.
She was friendly and knowledgeable, just the kind of person this store needs.

Good little dehumidifier, value for money

Bought online for click and collect. My boyfriend went to collect two tins of pre paid for paint (2.5l farrow and ball and 2.5l delux) he was given a tester size farrow and ball and the wrong colour dulux. He then left and called me to see if this was right and I sent him a picture of the order and he went back in to get the correct order. When he tried to he was told to call customer services and they wouldn’t change them. After he disputed this several times the employee disappeared briefly and reappeared with the correct order and an apology. Really strange…..don’t they check what they’re giving people against the order and rude for arguing it in the first place.
