I purchased my Crystal Pro Vanity Mirror from Hollywood Mirrors as I thought it was time to upgrade my current dressing table mirror!

And wow, I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner!

It’s so much brighter and makes my dressing room look so much more elegant!

The mirror came very well packed. I love the fact the mirror can be placed on my dressing table or on the wall leaving more room on my dressing table.

It has three light settings: warm, neutral and cool. All are dimmable with the touch button.

The mirror was very well packed. I was nervous ordering a mirror online and this being delivered through a courier. The box turned up with some dents so I was worried to open it, but the packaging was amazing so it didn’t damage the mirror. I told the courier to take pictures of the damaged packaging and he refused. He told me to accept it or turn it away. I took it as I didn’t know if it was damaged or not. Thank you for packaging the mirror properly as couriers don’t take the care that they should do.

Glad I bought this mirror as it looks beautiful on the wall. Easy to hang, just two screws (which were not provided). Very bright lights which you can tone down by holding the on button. USB connector for plugging in accessories is a good addition. Helps to limit wires.

There was a minor scratch on the mirror was disappointing but luckily it is right at the top of the mirror so not that noticeable when looking in it.

Daughter is extremely happy with it and so am I. Great value for money, delivered quickly and with sufficient packaging. If you are looking for a mirror like this, then I would recommend. I would buy a mirror from them again, maybe a bigger one next time :)

As a professional makeup artist, the Audrey Hollywood Mirror has been an absolute game-changer for me! I’ve had mine for 7 years now and I honestly couldn’t do my job without it. The lighting is perfect, with a dimmer to the side. The design is sleek and stylish and it’s still as reliable as when I first bought it! Also, their customer service is 10/10!

Sadly the mirror I ordered was too heavy for the dressing table it was destined for. I repacked and returned it within three days of delivery and within a day of it being returned had confirmation the monies had been reimbursed.

I was very happy with the returns and reimbursement process. Just a shame I had to return!

Following recent storms and power cuts, my Hollywood Mirror wasn’t working. I was gutted as only bought it last November. To claim on house insurance would not be worthwhile as the excess I have to pay was more than the cost of the mirror, plus I would lose my no claim bonus. 😕. So, I sent a mail to the help desk, being totally honest as to the events etc, was looked after by Justine. She arranged for a replacement cable to be sent, FOC. Arrived within a couple of days and hey presto! It’s working brilliantly. I rate this first class customer service. Well done Justine! 👍❤️

Purchased my Hollywood mirror and absolutely LOVE it. So classy and elegant and has totally elevated my dressing room. Really recommend and staff online are really lovely and friendly. 5 stars

Love love love it , great lighting

I purchased a full-length wall mirror which arrived damaged due to 1 man delivery and poor packaging but things happen so whatever I didn’t initially think it was a big deal and am not a dramatic person so I just chalked it up to a bad idea to purchase from them and it wasn’t a big issue.

I contacted their customer service within 24 hours of delivery to report the damage as per their requirements. Despite them expecting YOU to let them know within 24 hours, the reply took days. But I figured ok whatever in line with my legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a late response is still a response. The law states that faulty goods must be replaced or refunded, and the retailer is required to arrange collection or return of the item.

They did eventually provide a refund which I suppose I should be thankful for even that in hindsight seeing the other reviews, but Instead of taking responsibility, the company informed me that couriers would not collect a damaged mirror and instructed me to dispose of it myself.

Now, this is complete nonsense, reputable retailers have arrangements with couriers for the collection of large or damaged items, so I didn’t appreciate being lied to. For them to suggest I dispose of it myself is completely ridiculous, against consumer law and severely ableist.

The mirror is large and heavy, which is why I ordered one online in the first place as I have no ability to go and buy one and bring it home myself, and I have no means of lifting or disposing of it myself. Additionally, due to living in a flat, I do not have easy access to dispose of large items, and the mirror cannot fit in my regular sized car to be taken to a tip which, while severely annoying, if I had the means to do so probably would have since it would at least be free.

This company's refusal to arrange a collection has left me stuck with a broken mirror in my hall for a month now, with no way to return or dispose of it unless I pay the minimum local clearance pickup charge and since that’s for half a truck, as it’s for house clearance not this, is £130. For reference the mirror that I purchased cost £150. Now I don’t know about you but doesn’t that sound actually ridiculous. I have to pay the cost almost of the mirror to get rid of it.

After following up multiple times and reminding them of their legal obligations, I received no further response or action. The company ignored my requests and failed to offer any solution, forcing me to report them to Trading Standards for non-compliance with consumer laws.

For anyone considering purchasing large or fragile items from this company, please be warned: if you receive something broken that you cannot easily dispose of due to being disabled, mobility issues, living in a flat, not owning a van, or any other reason, you may be left with a broken product and no means to resolve the situation.

This has been an incredibly frustrating, and stressful experience, and I would strongly advise against ordering from this retailer. This company has failed in every respect—they have ignored consumer legal rights, disregarded my requests for a solution, and left me with a product I cannot use or dispose of. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.

Dear Adam, thank you for your response, but there are several inaccuracies.

1. Courier Limitations: You stated that “many couriers are unable to collect damaged items due to safety and insurance policies,” which is incorrect. Many couriers offer this service, and Hollywood Mirrors should ensure this is available for returns of faulty goods, mine and anyone else’s. It’s not to do with circumstances. If a courier collection cannot be arranged, Citizens Advice has advised that you are obligated to offer to pay for me to arrange the return or disposal myself, which has not been offered.

1. Consumer Rights Act 2015: You mentioned fulfilling your legal obligation by issuing a refund. However, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 also requires you to arrange for the collection or return of the damaged item, which has not been done.

1. Replacement or Refund: Offering a replacement or a refund is not enough; under the law, I am entitled to a refund or replacement and the return of the damaged product. Offering only a replacement without addressing the return process does not resolve the issue.

1. Review Removal Attempt: After leaving my review, Hollywood Mirrors attempted to have it removed, claiming it was for the wrong website. Trustpilot confirmed it was correct, and my review remains up. This was disappointing.

I will email you again directly, as you suggest. I did provide all this information in my prior email, but that was not replied to.

Purchased a gorgeous mirror from Hollywood mirrors as I am a makeup artist the quality is amazing and the lights are on dimmers so it’s perfect, the quality is better than I imagined. Will definitely buy again from here

UPDATE......Following a further approach to the company I was offered a replacement mirror at a 50% discount. After some consideration, I considered this to be an acceptable compromise to settle the matter

I purchased a mirror for my Granddaughter's birthday. The lighting failed after 12 months use. Following an exchange of emails, the company washed its hands of the issue saying that the bulbs cannot be replaced and quoted 'out of warranty'.

Superb customer service. The courier dropped mine on the doorstep and unfortunately it was damaged. Justine was brilliant and I had my replacement delivered two days later.

Came damaged and the customer service refused to give a refund. They told me that I had to return at my own cost and the 2 mirrors are really heavy and large. They also said they cannot refund because in their terms and conditions I had to check the mirrors within 24hr of delivery however the driver delivered to my neighbour and I was not notified with a delivery note or email. I find out days later that it’s at my neighbours when my neighbour knocked on my door. There was no way I could check in 24hr. I would have been happy to get an exchange as I ordered 5 mirrors, 2 were damaged as I can see they’re decent mirrors but I would definitely recommend avoiding this company because if something does go wrong or they’re not what you wanted then it’s very difficult to return, impossible to get a refund and customer service are very difficult to deal with and rude.

I recently decided to upgrade my old mirror and treat myself to a Hollywood mirror and I am so glad I did! The mirror is SO good for doing my makeup and getting ready, especially in the dark mornings and dark evenings. I love how I can change the light settings and I also love how I can charge my phone from the mirror so I can get ready using my phone without having to worry about having low battery when I go out! If you’re thinking of getting a Hollywood mirror, do it, you won’t regret it.

I did lots of online research to find the best mirror for my teenage daughter’s dressing table. I found lots of other companies you can’t replace the bulbs, which isn’t very good.

We also weren’t sure if we were putting her mirror on the table or wall mounting, so loved the Hepburn mirror had both options.

My daughter absolutely loves her mirror and the 3 different light settings it has.

Would highly recommend a Hollywood Mirror to anyone!
