I ordered this item (cd wallet) on click and collect but it was not available for collection soon enough - not on the same day or the day after. Therefore no longer needed as it was intended as travel storage for the 16th May. Notification email attached after flight departure.
If not in stock then site should state that.

We can see you order was delivered two days after the order was placed. We do have a Ring & Reserve service who can check stock located in stores, they can be reached on 03333 230 667.

Not happy with customer service
Firstly I would have given 5 stars for the lady who served me when placing my order in store but when I popped into the store to see if my order had arrived the guy wasn't nice at all. I asked him if he could check to see if my order was in and he said abruptly NO, if I hadn't had an email to say it was in store then it wont be, so I asked him if he could just have a look for me he said point blank NO, I was shocked by this attitude as the lady previously was wonderful, so very disappointed and I still have not received my order as yet.

I love HMV
I love HMV, what a fantastic service they still provide, being able to have such a huge variety of physical media at your fingertips with reasonable prices in 2024 is astounding.
One of the few high street stores left where you can walk in and get that rare blu-ray/dvd/cd and it’s yours forever.
The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and the service they provide is excellent.

Choice, ease of ordering and prompt delivery.
One slight nick would be the lack of interpersonal skills of the assistant in store where I picked up the delivery, he wasn’t offhand but wasn’t overtly friendly either.

the person how served me was very friendly and knew exactly what I needed she took time to listen to what I needed and even offered to order the dvd in for me then informed me of the ability to deliver strait to me door which I was unaware off

HMV- what a joke.
On Saturday (9th march) I rang ring and reserve to reserve a copy of Neon Genesis Evangelion HMV Exclusive on blu ray. It showed that there was a limited stock available in Gateshead Metro Centre HMV store. I was happy about it, so even tho I had cold and cough I took a bus and went for a 40 minutes journey (one way). When I arrived at shop a copy was reserved, but it wasn’t an edition I asked for. Needless to say I didn’t buy it. I was mislead by your website and your services. I will be closing my hmv account and I’ll never shop with you again.
Very unprofessional. And then they send me an email saying “Sorry for the inconvenience “. What a joke.
