The car was available on time and they followed through with our itinerary, as well as answered the phone and provided directions when I couldn't locate the office right away.

I had to wait inline for an hour to pick up my reservation. Too much uncertainty for a Gold Club member. Price was very expensive, 591.00 ft or one week.

Good car and rates, good pick up and drop off location. I had to wait in line for 90 minutes to pick up the car. Staffing at this location is very inadequate but efficient once I got to the front of the line

The price to rent a car from the Seattle location on 8th Ave was significantly better than the price to rent a car at the SeaTac airport. The person that presented the car to use was very pleasant.
When we arrived at the Seattle location, on the Hertz ground floor office, we were directed by a sign written on a piece of paper to go to the 6th floor of the parking garage. It was a bit of a challenge to find the entrance to the garage to take the elevator to the 6th floor. Once there, we had to wait about an hour in line to get our rental car even though we had reserved it ahead of time. The rental car had only 785 miles on it. It was nice to have a brand new car but it was not well prepared to use. The protective coverings were still on some of the buttons, the floor in the driver's seat, and the pedals for the gas, brake and foot rest. The windshield was very dirty both inside and outside. On the inside you could still see the rings on the glass from where the windshield was installed at the manufacturer making it difficult to see with the sun shining through the windshield.
I would have liked better instructions on where to enter the garage to return the rental car both in writing and verbally when picking up the car. It was very challenging to determine which garage to enter to return the car because there are 3 different garages in the same block. Once in the correct garage, the return was easy.

Staff here is very professional and friendly. Cars are also clean.

My recent rental experience was very disappointing.

As a President’s Circle member, I expected a smoother pickup process, but I had to wait in line for over an hour just to pick up the car key. The Gold member line was marked “skip the line,” but it actually moved much slower than the regular member line. There were only two service windows open, and staff also appeared to be running out of car keys, which made the process even more frustrating. After finally getting the key, I had to wait another 30 minutes before I could actually get the car.

The location was also very difficult to find. Although there is a Hertz office at street level, it was locked and no one was there. There were no signs directing customers to the actual rental counter on the 6th floor of the garage. I had to find the elevator myself, and there was no clear signage anywhere to guide customers.

The only positive part of the experience was the return process, which was smooth. However, the pickup experience was extremely poor, especially for a President’s Circle member, and it did not meet the level of service I expected from Hertz.

No vehicles available at pickup in Seattle despite 4-week-old reservation.

Everyone offers an excellent attention. Some times the lines might be too long, but even with that they do the best to give us the rentals relatively quickly.
