I had a reservation and they said, they were overbooked and don’t have any cars. This is not the first time for me.

To begin, there appeared to be three employees inside when I walked in to pick up (at my reserved pickup time), all of whom were discussing something. No one else was inside or outside picking up or dropping off. I was directed to the lady sitting behind the desk, and when I approached her, she ignored me at first to continue the conversation, then said she would be with me in just a moment. Not a big deal on its own, but still pretty unprofessional. Then, after she got around to helping me, there was no discussion about what class/vehicle I would get, and no indication that my Hertz status was acknowledged. Then, we had to go out and do her photo inspection of the vehicle, which was not in great shape, and had clearly not been washed. Maybe things have changed, but I thought President's Circle meant I could walk in, pick up, and go with an upgraded vehicle class - none of that happened. The next day I left early for business, and while driving toward the sun, I could hardly see through the windshield because of something that was smeared all over the inside of it. I had to stop at a gas station to clean the inside of the windshield. Again, I assumed that was something that Hertz would do. Most of these things are not a huge deal on their own, but when they all happen on the same rental, it makes me rethink using Hertz.

I keep having the same issue with extending my rental where it said my car needs maintenance and then whenever I get there with a new reservation I put into the same vehicle. I was told this following week if it happened again on the app that they would take care of it at the location to just call them. I called them and I was told they couldn’t do anything I needed to call back when there was a manager I was on hold for 27 minutes the first time in 15 minutes the second time to get nothing done. Now I’m having to call back today to try again. If I have to make a new reservation this one will be costing me $140 extra.

Hertz has always done me right, as long as they continue to I will always rent from them. With my AAA discount they destroyed every competitors price. Thanks again guys.

Excellent customer service. Easy to work with.

It was terrible. I never received a car. They returned it on accident after I paid. Then wanted me to pay again if I wanted the car. I was told I had to worry about my refund on the first charge. The manager was very unprofessional and refused to rent the same car that I had already paid and then called the police on me. Which according to the police they get called their a lot. He does not need to be dealing with the public or representing your company.

The pick up, drop off, and communication were all flawless. Every one was nice, and Robert was very helpful as usual.

They charged me 15 dollars for a gallon of gas even though the tank is full. It was just a mile from the gas station to the drop location and they still charged me 15 dollars.

Absolutely awful experience. The check in process was fine but the car’e engine light was on and it needed maintenance immediately (the car said so). Then we get another car and it also said it needed maintenance. They checked the records, the code wasn’t cleared, ok fine. Then I take the car off the lot and it immediately has low tire pressure. I turned around and asked for a different car. There were none so I said no thanks. The manager had offered to cancel the contract and refund the money, which I’m still waiting for and it was supposed to be refunded on Friday.
