Hertz had the car ready that I ordered along with the car seat for my grandson.
The only downside was that their parking facility was quite a walk from the terminal.

I did have a concern about my car rental that I would like to pass on at this time.

The vehicle that I requested was not available upon arrival and I understand that may happen. They offered me another car. I went to get it, and the smell was very overbearing of a mixture of cigarettes and marijuana.
I walked back to terminal, but line was long from flight coming in. So, I decided to bring it back in morning since I was staying overnight in Lexington and would be leaving there in the morning to go to my out-of-town destination. I called before I came to airport and went over my issue with a gentleman on the phone. He said "No problem" just bring it by and we can change it.
Upon getting to counter the lady stated that there was nothing she could do for they did not have any cars. There were many cars there. I do understand that people would be needing to pick those up etc. but perhaps someone who smoked might not mind taking the one I had. I had driven it all of 8 miles so it was clean etc. I even offered to take a car that was not cleaned yet if that would help. I was turned down on every suggestion. I just felt like the employees and manager did not care about my situation at all. I am allergic to cigarettes etc. They did finally say I could have a Dodge pick up truck which was not suitable for it is high up off the ground and I would have a hard time getting into it. Also the passenger I had recently had a knee replacement and is 5 feet tall and would not be able to access that vehicle.
I asked for a refund and I could get a car at another vendor there or in Lexington. They told me that since I had done a prepay that was not an option. I do not understand that at all.
Therefore I was very disappointed in the service that I was provided with.

Super easy online reservation. Super easy process at the airport desk. Car was clean and met our needs. Super easy return.

The outside of the vehicle was not clean upon pick up. There was a disconnect with Hertz. Prior to this rental there would be a follow up, how r things going kind of contact. All information is online i guess because nothing given at rental but a boarding pass kind of ticket. There were dings on the vehicle. Didn’t know until days later that u were supposed to take 6 pictures at time of pickup!! Anyway it was not as good of an experience as our many other rentals

Quick pickup, friendly associates, easy to pick up + drop off. Clean car. Cant really ask for much more! Happy with Hertz!

Experience at the airport was 4 star. When I arrived for pick-up, they did not have a vehicle in my class ready. Instead, had another (a Jeep) that they allowed me to check out as an alternative. Given my height, it was not a good fit. They had a vehicle in the class I originally requested ready within 30 minutes.

Booking with points and online customer service was 2 stars. I applied 1900 points to a 2-day free rental. (Which showed on my profile.) When reviewing my agreement after pick-up, there was only 1-day free applied. When I reached out to customer service (after waiting about 45 minutes to be connected with someone), they advised that 1900 for 2-days free would only apply to a Standard sedan, not a Standard SUV. Your website is misleading. I read 1900 for 2-days free of a Standard VEHICLE. Not to mention, on my points profile, it showed that the 1900 had been applied for 2-days...not 1-day free.

I appreciate the perk of being able to use points after being a frequent customer of Hertz. The ease and clarity of using these points is less desirable. I have passed this experience on to others as a cautionary occurrence when considering services through Hertz.

Car ready when arrived. Simple check out then out to car. Car clean inside with no smells. Lits of space for 5 adults.

Hertz continually charges me for fuel services when 1) I did not sign up for those services and 2) I bring the car back full. Now, I have to haggle with customer services to "prove" that I brought the car back full. Feels like a scam where Hertz hopes you either don't notice or don't want to go through the hassle to fix it. Such a low level of customer service that I sometimes wonder how Hertz stays in business.

Easy to pick up and staff are amazing at this location I am a loyal user and as long as I get good customer service and loyalty rewards. I will stay renting from Hertz weekly.
