I was very happy with Hertz this time, considering in the past and over the last 2 to 3 years I’ve been very unhappy with this customer service from Hertz at this location. I arrived at the gold counter. My car was ready to go. I got in the car and left without any delay or difficulty. Thank you, Hertz for giving me what I pay for.

I asked for the option to return the car full of gas and was charged $110 for fuel. I still returned the car full

I was not happy

The booking was simple , the pick up and drop off were very easy.

I did everything on line to by pass the counter and when i got to the airport I still had to wait at the counter and there wans only one perseron to help us and a line of 20 people . took me 45 minutes to get my car. When i left the lot the windows were so streaked that i had to pull over and clean them. I havent used hertz in a long time and now I know why. quality has come down to rock bottom. Will never use Herts again. worst experience renting a car ever.

The only issue is I have to go inside instead of name being up on the board. But otherwise all good.

Process was quick, easy, hassle-free. Vehicle was in great condition.

Hertz in Maui demands $497.50 for assessed damage because the AI screener says a tire rim had new damage, a scratch. The report came 3 hours after the car was returned even though AI is virtually instantaneous. Three hours is just enough time to ensure that people turning in the car have flown off and cannot physically verify damage; convenient. So I could not touch to see if it was just dirt. How could the rim get scrapped with no scrape marks on the tire itself; odd!!! They are threatening me with legal fees and other expenses if I do not sign something they sent me that says I caused the damages. The assessment is conveniently just below $500, possibly to reduce the probability of investigation. I inquired but I am getting no return call from their adjuster so I have to wonder. They obviously want me to sign so it can be used if they later confront suites or legal charges. I did find a way to pay $497.50 just to make them go away, but it was stressful.

FROM MAKING THE RESERVATION TO PICK-UP SUPER SMOOTH FLAWLESS AND FAST CAR WAS CLEAN PERFECT FOR OUR NEEDS

I was upgraded as a thank you for my loyalty. The car was great and this was a thoughtful gesture. I believe the name of the Hertz representative who came out to great me was Katty.

I like that the Hertz staff walked to me and greeted me and asked if I needed help looking for my car, since all rental places are different.

Overall it was ok, but the car wasn't well prepared. We picked it up in the evening when it was already dark outside, and the parking garage was somewhat dimly lit. Plus, we were super tired after two flights, and kids were slipping in a stroller. So, we probably didn't check it properly. But one the way to the hotel it became clear that the windshield and side windows are just dirty (from the inside!). And next morning we found large stains of sunscreen both inside and outside

Gold rewards checkout process was easy and fast but finding the car could be a little smoother with clearer signs.

Anything about car rental happened as expected. Great company

As a Gold member i just drove up, picked a car. The keys were in the car. Easiest pick up and drop off.

Their was a discrepancy with my bill and it was corrected quickly.

The counter agate the airport was very kind.

First car had bad brakes and light going off before I got completely out of the facility. Returning the car staff was unorganized and made a delay for multiple people.

I waited over an hour at the airport before I got the car. They also added additional insurances that I had declined in the initial reservation.
