Such a lovely shop, as soon as I arrived the staff were very welcoming. I was seen by Abbie, she explained the whole process as this was my first time. I chose some dresses that I liked and we went straight to trying them on, it was such a lovely experience throughout. Abbie was very helpful and I didn’t feel pressured at all, she made me feel at ease the whole time, I did try on a dress that wasn’t my style that Abbie suggested, she made sure I was happy to do so first, but I’m glad I did as it’s a good way to know for sure it wasn’t a style I would have liked and Abbie explained this to me so I’m glad I did try it on. Once we had a few yes dresses I was worried I would find it hard to choose one, but I didn’t, once we tried on veils with the dress and it made the choosing so much easier, my dress is everything I wanted in a wedding dress. I got excited about trying my chosen dress on one last time and I love that Abbie got excited that I had asked this too. I absolutely love my dress and veil, Heart brides was the only shop I went to and I found and fell in love with my dress (happened to be the first one I tried on) but it was such an enjoyable experience as a first time bride to be I would 100% recommend here. I can’t fault anything or anyone, and now all I keep thinking about is seeing my dress again when I pick it up. There are also different payment options but this is all explained. Truely the best experience when trying on that special dress, Thankyou again lady’s.

An ok selection of dresses. Doesn’t feel very special with being stood in the main room near the entrance so people can see you if they can come in or look through the window. It’s supposed to be a special intimate experience. On the other had. 2.of the ladies was very lovely, a blonde small lady and a brown haired lady. However there was another lady who basically just sat on the couch and seemed very rude, the way she spoke and mannerisms was just not quite right. Didn’t make me or my bridal party feel very uncomfortable.

Im a 3rd time bride aged 61! I was very anxious and nervous trying dresses for the 1st time! I didn't want to look like mutton! But wow when we walked in the door we were made to feel so welcome! Staff were incredible and so friendly! I instantly felt at ease! I had no idea what I wanted apart from sleeves! Within half an hour I had said yes to my dress! Thank-you for an amazing bit emotional experience! I would 💯 recommend a visit x thank you again

I had the most beautiful experience trying on dresses and finding my perfect dress. I was nervous I wouldn't find anything I liked or what suited me as I went with no clue what I wanted and I really shouldn't have worried! Something as simple as making sure you could see the back of the dress or moving the stool to see the flow of a dress that would need to be taken up - the little details they knew I needed before I did just goes to show how kind, helpful and professional they are. The best of the best thank you Heart Brides!

I honestly cannot recommend Heart Brides enough. As a plus-sized bride, I was feeling quite anxious and nervous before my appointment. I worried about whether there would be dresses to try on, if I’d feel comfortable, and if the experience would be as special as I’d always hoped. But from the moment I walked into Heart Brides, all of those worries completely disappeared.

The team made me feel so welcome, comfortable, and supported right from the start. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and reassuring, creating such a relaxed environment where I never once felt judged or out of place. They really listened to what I wanted and helped me try on styles that made me feel confident, beautiful, and excited.

The selection for plus-size brides was fantastic, and I was genuinely surprised by how many beautiful options I had to choose from. Every dress was handled with care, and I never felt rushed or pressured — they truly made the whole experience feel special and enjoyable.

What meant the most was how they made me feel. They turned what I thought would be a nerve-wracking experience into one of the most memorable and joyful parts of my wedding journey. I left feeling confident, emotional, and so excited.

If you’re a plus-size bride feeling nervous about dress shopping, I cannot recommend Heart Brides enough. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, confident, and truly beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful experience 🤍

I visited heart brides yesterday, and I can honestly say I have never been made to feel more comfortable from start to finish. All 3 ladies were so helpful and nothing was too much to ask, they gave their honest feedback when asked about certain things on a dress, and wasn't just trying to "sell a dress".
As a petite lady, I was very self conscious in some dresses, but these ladies were amazing and listened to what I was insecure about, and made alterations to some dresses for me to see, I 'said yes to the dress" and I felt absolutely amazing.
I couldn't recommend them enough, not only are the prices amazing, I believe they also do payment options.
We was all laughing from start to finish, such lovely, relaxed ladies, made our day so lovely.
Will highly recommend to anyone, thank you all so much x

I went to Heart’s Bride last Saturday to find my wedding dress and the staff were absolutely amazing. They were so welcoming to me and my family and made it such a special occasion. They went out of their way to help with suggestions and created such a lovely atmosphere. They made us all feel really comfortable and welcome, and we had a truly wonderful experience. I couldn’t recommend them enough! And now I have the most beautiful wedding dress for my wedding. Xx

I had a wonderful time at Heart Brides. I felt listened too, and confident that the stylists knew their stock well enough to recommend dresses. I ended up with a dress that hadn't even made it to the rail yet!
I was there for longer than I'd expected, but I didn't feel rushed to make a decision.
I ended up with a dress that I loved, having gone back and forward between two that I loved! The addition of a flutter sleeve sold it for me!

A wonderful wonderful experience. A note to future customers, no refreshments are offered (assuming this is to protect the dresses), so be sure to have a good drink and snack before you go :-) .

Had the BEST time finding my dream wedding dress at Heart Brides today. I am so grateful to Lisa/Amanda for describing to me and showing me how each one would be adjusted to fit me and being so efficient in helping me try each one on but also giving me time to discuss each dress with my mum/sister. I felt so special and emotional by the end. I didn't anticipate finding "the one" dress today but I ended up being torn between two stunning dresses. I felt welcome from the get-go and the ladies are so down-to-earth to speak to. I even felt comfortable enough to take off my bra to try on dresses (and I'm not especially body confident). I wasn't rushed, the ladies are undoubtedly very experienced and I am so, so glad to have gone there and to walk out with my special dress! Also, the pricing is reasonable.

I said yes to the dress at Heart Brides and highly recommend any bride-to-be wanting to feel relaxed and enjoy their experience visit these wonderful ladies. They made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment we entered and were so supportive with narrowing down 3 to the one. They have a broad range of styles to try, all of excellent quality and adorable prices.

All the staff at heart brides were absolutely brilliant, from booking the appointment, the warm welcome and the support and guidance with finding the most perfect dress. I got married on the 5th July and the amount of comments I got on my dress. I wish I could wear it every day and I thank Heart Brides for the dress of my dreams. Dress shopping is a day I will never forget! Everyone should go to heart brides!

Our daughter who lives in Manchester booked her wedding date , she said she’d like to look near her childhood home as well as up North so I said let’s pop to Heart Brides as I have known Zoie for years . I messaged Zoie quite last minute to see if they had any appointments, unfortunately they didn’t have any, Zoie then messaged with an appointment for that day as someone had moved their appointment. Walking in we were greeted with a big hug from Zoie ,Zoie and her team put our daughter at ease as soon as we walked in . They encouraged her to try different styles but we kept being drawn to the same style . The second dress received the same reaction from everyone….. Wow . The following week we travelled to Manchester, our daughter found a similar dress, we returned to Heart Brides yesterday, Zoie greeted us with a hug ….. Katie put on the dress , appeared round the curtain and again Wow and tears , she looked absolutely stunning , she said Yes to the dress .

Wow wow wow, from start to finish with heart brides was perfect, tried 4 different dresses on and the last one was absolutely beautiful! Made sure it was suited for me, told me when I can get them dress sorted if I really needed to, even gave me flower arrangements too.
The dress itself was fit for a princess!

Caring, personal feel as soon as I entered the shop. I felt listened to and with support from the loveliest lady, I tried on dresses which I loved. Instead of struggling to find something, I was spoilt for choice and as a size 18 this was a lovely feeling. I knew instantly when I found ‘the one’ and cried happy tears which were shared by staff. I would recommend Heart brides to any bride looking for a wedding dress. Both ladies are so lovely, warm and welcoming. It was my first ever time going dress shopping and they made it such a wholesome experience, they made me feel amazing.
I cannot wait to see the ladies again when I collect my dress.

I went to heart brides last minute with only 4 weeks until my wedding through a recommendation. I had already accepted id never find 'the dress' because of a really bad experience at another shop and thought id just have to settle for something ok. The experience was completely different and the ladies were just so amazing. They made me feel so relaxed and not rushed and let ME decide on what dresses i liked first. I could choose as many as i liked to try on and i found the perfect dress instantly. They were honest, kind and so welcoming my anxiety left the moment i walked through the door. We walked away with my dress and the relief i feel is amazing. I cant thank them enough x

I got married on 18th May and everyone said how beautiful my dress was. The ladies at Heart Brides were amazing, picking out several dresses which they knew would suit me, helping me try on the dresses as many times as I needed before I chose my dream dress. Thank you!

Went in with my mum today. The ladies are so lovely and instantly made me feel at ease. After trying on quite a few dresses, I finally found my perfect dress. I’m so happy! Highly recommend.
