The whole experience was so professional from start to finish. Everything little detail was shared with us, Loise was patient,understanding and really helpful with the details enabling us to make a really good informed decision about the cruise and the flight seats.

We have now booked three holidays with Hays Travel in Bon Accord Centre in Aberdeen.
The staff are always very friendly, helpful and make sure we are happy with all areas of our booking even after amending our dates of travel.

As always Claire listened to our needs and she provided various options for consideration before we settled on the holiday that suited us all.

A knowledgeable and friendly agent who explored all aspects of our destination and explained various packages in detail, helping us choose the correct holiday for us. We have used Hay's several times and have been impressed with the Aberdeen agents every time. Well done and thank you Kristian. This Company clearly values it's customers.

Claire in the Aberdeen branch is always very helpful. She takes time to search for our perfect holiday and nothing seems to be too much trouble.

The only thing that I strongly disagree with, is Hays requesting the balance of your holiday 14 weeks prior to departure !! Why should they sit with your money, making interest on it for that length of time ??
It always used to be around 8-10 weeks which I feel is reasonable.

The lady in Aberdeen was so lovely she looked at lots of options for us and was really helpful think her name was Claire

Abigail was very helpful initially in the shop then keeping in contact with me by email as I was trying to book a few things at the same time for a family of 8 coming from different countries
She was brilliant

We have always had an exceptional service from all the staff at Hays Bon Accord Centre Aberdeen but the service we received from Louise on 20/02/2026 was beyond our expectations. She was so understanding when we explained why we needed to cancel our previously booked holiday with Hays to then proceed to rebook another. Her knowledge and skills base and advice was second to none. Thankyou Louise and all staff who work in this travel centre.

Great service as always that is why we come back

Although we knew our required destination, Barbados, we had no idea on hotel or area. Kris explained the various options available from location, hotels, airlines and flight selection in a clear and concise manner. With his invaluable knowledge and expertise we were easily able to make our selection.

The staff at the Aberdeen Branch are invariably helpful and this gives me confidence thst all the bookings have been safely planned and booked.

Good customer relations

Update Feb 2026: Hays Aberdeen asked me to get in touch with them, in response to the poor review I gave on Trustpilot. They explained that the shop rate is often different to their on line rate and advised customers to ask for the on line rate when they go in to a branch. They also said my numerous email complaints had been 'lost' in a central system, but once they, in Aberdeen, were made aware, they have acted immediately They dealt with me very professionally and offered me a refund based on the difference I had experienced.
Original Review: I got a very poor exchange rate in the Aberdeen branch, when compared with what the Hays website said. (I got 89% of what the website said). I know rates change over time, but not as much or as quickly as this. I tried getting an explanation but my numerous emails have been ignored. Poor exchange rate and very poor customer service.
