Very helpful staff
Very helpful staff. I had lost a mirror glass from the passenger side wing mirror and the driver side glass came off ( unbroken ) in my hand just after I parked outside the branch. The member of staff ordered the missing glass and advised and collected for me from the store some sticky pads to re-attach the driver's side mirror glass.

Brand New Carrea E bike- BUT the Rear Spokes Break
I purchased a brand new 2026 Carrea Crossfire E bike, In 3 months of ownership 3 rear spokes have broken. My local Halfords Store replaced the spokes, but another has broken, and now they're replacing the wheel with a new one. The Halfords cycle repairs team have been great, I can't fault them. But I'm concerned the rear wheel spokes are not fit for purpose. Fingers crossed the replacement wheel will sort it.

Windscreen Chip Repair - Good as New!
I had a chip repaired on the windscreen of my car.
The Halford’s assistant was friendly, informative, did a great job fixing it and I am very happy.

From ordering my dash cam
From ordering my dash cam, to having it fitted, it was a very nice experience. As in these times of false promises from supposedly large professional companies whom don't actually meet their standards of service, it's a refreshing change. Keep up the good work Halfords.

Previously used?
Having purchased 2 tins of spray paint, click and collect, an etch primer and satin black, on my return to home, the primer had the nozzle missing and the satin black had the safety ring missing, which indicates to me someone may have used a small amount from 1 or both cans. I needed the paint urgently so used what I had, but will be more careful on collection in the future.

Why have Halfords stopped stocking…
Why have Halfords stopped stocking inner tubes with straight valves and instead only stock bent valves. They sell new bikes with straight valves! Don’t they realise that bent valves catch on the brake blocks when they are fitted. They say they only stock bent valves because of e scooters!

Excellent customer service
When I arrived at the store I was met by Jack I explained what repairs I needed doing to my bike he was more than happy to fit me in that day and he said I could leave my bike at the store and he would give me a ring and explain what needed doing and how much it would cost I agreed so jack continued with the repair.Excellent customer from Jack from start to finish.
