My first choice car assessroies store.
only it happens the ideal item I looked for was sold out. I need to re-consider buying another brand, which is still OK. Otherwise the product availability is usually good.

Ordered a lot of products for car detailing online. Price was very competitive and all items were available for collection within the time frame provided by Halfords.
Also with offers the items were cheaper than other outlets.

Shopping in person has its perks.
I was well treated by the member of staff who took time to show me how I could save money. Very knowledgable and helpful. Got what I wanted and saved money too! Sometimes it’s good to shop in person.

Avoid motor club membership
I no longer own a car and attempted to cancel my Motoring club membership but was told the only way to cancel is by paying for the the remaining subscription (for me is 9 months). The membership doest even offer much of benefits anyway so pointless in having and more annoyingly Halfords, like many other companies nowadays dont allow you to cancel your subscription without charges.

I got a new battery fitted
I got a new battery fitted. The mechanic made it a good experience. The 45 minute wait not so good. But the battery was completely flat and I was grateful to get a replacenent fitted from stock.

Really great service
Really great service. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, easy to book online, sorted car quickly and got me money off by becoming a member for just over a 5er a month - free MOTS each year

Halfords Wellingborough Poor Customer Service
I went to purchase oil for my car at Halfords Wellingborough and asked a male member of staff for guidance and advice as to which oil I needed. The guy was very condescending and patronising throughout and even more so when I asked if he could show me where to find the product within the store. Whilst the product did the job, I felt let down by a poor level of customer service

Ordered something online to collect but not in stock at store
I ordered some radweld to fix a radiator leak on a car and it was available at the store according to the site so I ordered it and set off as I needed it urgently. Only to receive a call from the store that they didn't have any and was out of stock.
Thanks guys I've just wasted my money & diesel so forget about me shopping at that store again...
Plus their Contact Us option doesn't work - it just comes up with 403 Forbidden - obviously they're not interested in listening to complaints
