When we went into the store we asked one of the sales people where we could find the zempire tm v2 air tent he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, I didn’t catch his name , we asked his advice as we are also after a good airbed , we purchased the zempire twin , and a few other bits
The sales people at the till , Tanita and Denton were also extremely helpful this is why we always shop with go outdoors

We really appreciated Denton’s assistance when purchasing our new Berghaus 600XL air tent. Very helpful and helped us with our discount code. We walked away very satisfied customers!

Went out looking for a tent, mainly to look see what was available. Found a staff member (Ade) and asked for advise. He was pure gold, asked what we needed wanted it to do, etc…. And guided us like a pro, right down to the tiny details that made a big difference. Put up with endless questions but still came up trumps with clear reason why certain products, although similar in appearance would work better in our set up.
When it came to pay Abiy got the job of processing our shopping as her till accepted cash when the rest was card, Abiy has a wicked sense of humour and was an absolute delight to deal with, infact all the staff I came into contact with were mega helpful, cheerful and genuinely wanted to help.
This level of quality of staff interaction was probably the best I’ve ever experienced, the Wolverhampton branch really is the bees knees. Head offices take note, score this branch 11/10, put all the staff on Santa’s list for a Christmas bonus, they deserve it. A+++

Got what I needed from the store - even though the website indicated that they no longer stocked this item. We didn't need advice on this occasion but the staff in the Wolverhampton branch are always on hand to assist with more complex purchases, e.g hiking boots. Our only contact on this visit was with Ryan on checkout who was friendly, polite and efficient.

Ade was fantastic in helping with some broken (vintage!) tent poles. Showed me the suitable replacements and how to fix them, with bonus advice on emergency repairs. Really knowledgeable, thank you again.

At the checkout the young lad (Jashan), I think that's the correct name. He was very friendly and helpful making some polite conversation, which I thought was excellent customer practice. Well done.

The sales assistant was great. Friendly and helpful. What didn’t help was my membership number wasn’t recognised but he dealt with it fine.

Didn't get the ladies name, but she had blonde hair and glasses. She helped us find our son a nice pair of walking boots in the right size and was very approachable and chatty. Lovely lady. Also want to give a shout out to Jashan, who served us at the till. He was very polite and even helped me dispose of a big box for recycling. Overall a very nice experience, 10/10.

Ade was super patient and friendly taking the time to explain the basics of fishing too me, he was super insightful and helpful!

Brilliant and friendly service. Abi Y served us, helped us and was lovely. Our local Go Outdoors closed so we popped in whilst visiting family. Would recommend!

Every person is professional, knowledgeable, very helpful and willing (and wanting) to hel and very importantly… excellent communicators.

Store is really tidy, clean and well stocked. Staff that we did have contact with were very knowledgeable and helpful. Really calm and relaxed atmosphere which is really appreciated in this crazy world! We were served by Abiy who was really attentive and friendly.

Great place with everything you need, be it for fishing, camping, caravanning, hiking or just walking in the outdoors. plus being helped by the knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Tip! Mondays seems a good day as there less people in store.
Final tip! I noticed the amount of fishing gear they have in store. Very good prices and a vast amount of choice.
Finally a big shout out for Abiy on the till for being so helpful.

Abiy served me on this occasion. I just needed a couple of things for an upcoming trip to Canada. It was about 30 minutes before closing time on Sunday and we chatted briefly about the day. Suffice to say, it had been a bit of a tough one in some respects but she remained friendly and professional and didn’t let it affect our interaction.

Go Outdoors had exactly what I needed. I thought they probably would.

Very pleasant staff

In store service is amazing. Staff are awesome and attentive, and the stock is beyond par with excellence. i cannot fault them.
However, shopping online, have a home delivery, not collect from store. i should have listened to my friend who had a similar experience but I went ahead and ordered something that I needed on a time sensitive basis due to be delivered in 3-5days. after almost 2 weeks of no updates, I rang customer services who told me the item was at the store on day 5 but the notification email "hadn't been sent for some reason" So off I went to the store in my lunch break to pick up my order. Upon arrival I was told it was not in the store. I left frustrated, and called customer services on the way back to work. During the call I was asked if I could turn around and go back to the store as the item was 100% there for me to collect. I could not but had another call whilst at work to confirm the item available to collect after work. Thankfully the operator was awesome and managed to double confirm the item was on the desk awaiting my collection after work. But after nearly two weeks wait for an item that was already there then being turned away after travelling 45mins the frustration had already been firmly implanted in my mind. It will be home deliveries for me from now on if ordered online.
