GO Outdoors - Reading (Express) Anmeldelser

Excellent friendly staff, very knowledgeable and thorough. Thank you Richard and Sammi.

Served by Anya & Ciaran who were both really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding DofE equipment choices.

Great variety of options and very reasonable prices.

They sorted out discounts for us too.

Always a pleasure shopping here.

Served by Anya & Ciaran who were very helpful with all the options of walking shoes. They took their time to explain the difference in the products and were very patient whilst we tried lots of different pairs on.

The Go Outdoors team were incredibly helpful, both over the phone prior to my visit, and in store. Anya offered some great advice in store over tents and was both knowledgeable and patient. A great team and very helpful. I will be back soon.

I was initially helped by Luciana to find a new 65L backpack after my trusty one needed replacing after many years. She was super helpful, lovely and knowledgeable. She couldn't have been better! Faizal then served me at the till and despite a problem with my DofE discount he was again helpful and knowledgeable and between the two managed to solve the problem. I will absolutely return when I next need something for the outdoors!

Great customer service. And a surprisingly good selection for the size of the store.

Really helpful & knowledgeable staff. Thank you especially to Sammi on our most recent visit. A really good range of clothes & equipment, well set out…

Luciona was so helpful when my 4 year old was having a tantrum and not wanting to try on the raincoat. She distracted him and showed us the mirror which did the trick. Thank -you!

Ciaran was extremely helpful when I called to enquire about availability of a Rab jacket. He took my number and called me back after checking in the stock room. He put the jacket behind the counter for me to collect the next day. He went the extra mile for me. Excellent service.
Mrs Jackson

Great service from Raizan. He fixed a rucksack buckle from the buckle kit rather than let us stumble about trying to DIY.

Good selection for a relatively small store. Anya and Sam we’re very helpful and friendly in helping us purchase trousers and coats for an upcoming trip.

Luciona saw us looking at the rucksacs and offered help. Having ascertained why my son needed the sac and the specific requirements she talked us through several bags attributes, pros and cons. He is a tall thin teenager and she spent time adjusting the bag to his dimensions and also help pack the bag with his martial arts gear so he could feel the weight distribution. Nothing was too much trouble and we did not feel hurried. With her knowledge of the different bags he chose the OEX 70l over the more expensive models.

Anya was very helpful and informative!! Thank you for your customer service.

Anya was very patient and knowledgeable in helping to choose the correct walking boots.

Ciaran in the Reading Express branch was very helpful with my query and resolved the issue promptly, excellent customer service

I went in looking for some better hiking boots, Rich was so kind and helpful with helping me find the ones that suited and fit me best for the hikes I plan on doing!

Sammi was very helpful, and very cheery. Easy and happy visit, thank you.

Outstanding service. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helped us navigate the DofE kit list with ease. Their expertise ensured we chose the right gear for the challenge ahead. Highly recommended for any expedition prep.

We came in to get a backpack- got fantastic advice and service from Rich- who took care to ensure backpack fitted correctly - thank you
