I don't normally leave reviews, but the service I received from Laurence at GO Outdoors today absolutely deserved one.

I came in looking for hiking trainers that were water-resistant, breathable, and had really good grip. Laurence listened carefully to what I needed, talked me through the different options, and never once made me feel like he was trying to rush me into a sale.

What really stood out was that after I'd tried on one pair, he took the initiative to bring over two more pairs that he thought would suit my needs even better. He wasn't asked to do that—he simply wanted to make sure I left with the right boots. One of those pairs turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, and I'm genuinely delighted with them.

Laurence was knowledgeable, patient, approachable, and clearly takes real pride in helping customers. It's becoming increasingly rare to receive service that feels so personal and genuine, and he made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish.

People like Laurence are the reason customers come back. He's a real credit to GO Outdoors, and I sincerely hope his hard work and attitude are recognised because employees like him make a lasting impression.

I had a fantastic experience at GO OUTDOORS Clydebank when purchasing a roof tent. Chris was absolutely excellent from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable and took time to check the roof tent was fitted safely. I would highly recommend GO OUTDOORS for anyone looking for quality gear and outstanding service.

I was in Go outdoors for barbeque spares but asked in the camping department about a spare part for my Vango spirit tent which I had not been able to get anywhere. Spoke to Chris who was very knowlegable and understood exactly what I needed and was able to find the correct part. Very pleased that the tent is now back in action. Unusual these days to get such good service.

I was shopping for new walking boots and Laurence was very helpful and patient. He was knowledgeable and as an experienced walker himself I trusted his opinion. Thank you Laurence

Excellent choice of clothes and other outdoor items. Very helpful staff, especially Susan who found what I wanted when I couldn't. Great value for money. Can't praise the shop and staff enough. Will be back soon for some more good bargains

Susan in Go Outdoors Clydebank was amazing! Had come in to pick up an online order and other bits before heading out on the West Highland Way and she was amazing at both giving me some tips, helping me with my order and just being really friendly! Could not recommend more!
