Great Customer Service from the team at GetMeIn

I've seen too many bad reviews so thought I would write a review of my experience. I think the key for people to remember is that GetMeIn do not supply the tickets - they are a marketplace and the tickets are coming from a seller. I bought a 5 day camping ticket for Download Festival and the ticket still hadnt arrived 2 days before the event. I was starting to panic so I rang GetMeIn multiple times and they were able to ring the seller and pressure them to send the ticket Royal Mail Special delivery - I picked up the ticket from the delivery office on the morning of the event! I turned up at Download with all my camping gear and went to swap my ticket for a wristband and was DENIED ENTRY and was directed to the box office. The ticket had been cancelled by the seller and voided with their credit card company so they got their money back from the original sale of the ticket. I was absolutely fuming stranded with my arms full with the tent and sleeping bag etc. I was forced to buy a full price ticket - £50 more than what I had paid! The reason I have given a 5 star review is the quick and great customer service I received from GrtMeIn after all this had happened. I was extremely panicked that I would struggle with getting a full refund but I spoke to GetMeIn and they immediately emailed me with the requirements to receive the refund. They needed a photo of the ticket and written proof from the box office that I had been refused and the reason why. I was able to do this straight away and the refund was processed ON THE SAME DAY. It was absolutely brilliant and I was able to enjoy the festival without having to even think about this whole situation. It is not GetMeIns fault that the seller of the ticket was a complete fraud and all I can do is thank them for resolving the situation so quickly, easily and stress free. Thank you.

Bought a ticket to the Rolling Stones…Yet to arrive !

Bought a ticket to the Rolling Stones at Twickenham for June 19th 2018 - have yet to receive the ticket.....

Have tried opening a query with Get Me In - but absolutely NO response ?

Tried calling the Customer Service today 11/06/18 - NO response, despite staying on the phone for 15 minutes.

If the ticket fails to turn up in time - I will seek reimbursement through VISA and take Get Me in to a small claims court - as the website should state clearly, that there is a chance you might not get the ticket you have paid for

The first and last time I use this company!

As we’re a ticket resale website, we provide a secure platform for ordinary members of the public to sell on their tickets – we don’t own any of the tickets sold through our site. With this in mind we allow Sellers time to receive their tickets from their place of purchase, and then dispatch these on to you.

Unfortunately sometimes, as is the case with tickets for The Rolling Stones the event organisers can dispatch tickets much closer to the event date and even up until the week of the event. But don’t worry we’ll drop you an email as soon as tickets are on their way to you.

recent purchase

I recently bought tickets for my gf to see demi lovato for her birthday
and was not informed that I would receive a4 paper tickets... not exactly a nice looking birthday present and the only reason I used get me in because ticket master said there were no available tickets and would have to use their other company get me in and when later checked the ticket master after purchase there were tickets available ( not happy) ...
will not be using this company again as girlfriend now only has a tattya4 piece of paper which cost over £100 to procure to keep as her memorabilia for her favourite artist

We’re a secondary ticket marketplace, providing a secure platform for people to sell on their tickets. so we ask our sellers to post tickets to you through a secure courier, this means that the delivery can be tracked so we can make sure they arrive with you safely and in the rare case anything did go wrong we can investigate to resolve any problems for you.

Sometimes if a larger group of tickets have been purchased electronically (i.e. e-tickets) and the seller is either attending the show or sold additional tickets elsewhere, he may not be able to split the pdf file containing the full group of tickets, which means he can only print and ship
the tickets separately.

Sold tickets for The Rolling Stones on 25th May and still haven't received payment even though today is the 10 working day mark! I phoned up yesterday and a lady said I definitely would receive funds today but haven't!!

In order to maintain a secure marketplace we don't make payment to sellers until after the event has taken place, usually around 10 business days. This is so that we can ensure buyers have successfully attended the event, and in the case of any issues they can be fully investigated. The 10th business day for this event is 11th June when taking into account weekends and bank holiday, so you should be due to receive payment in one of our next payment runs.

My daughter accidentally bought 2 standing tickets for 50cent on sept 18.., she thought they were in dublin but they were in birmingham....she e mailed to cancel immediatley afterwards, and the e mail was at noreply@getmein.. i havent heard from u since... £40 extra charges added on,,, rip off

Feel robbed

Wasn’t happy with the service of the website when I tried to buy my foo fighter tickets! The website kept crashing due to the volume of people using it. And when I clicked on a unreserved standing ticket option. By the time I had paid and got sent a confirmation email I had been sold 2 seated tickets! Which may I add were over priced by the time you stuck you high charges on!
I then contacted your customer service team by email to be told that I had time to check and confirm the order at check out! Which is correct but also very hard to do when you have a timer clocking your purchase down!

I then waited for the tickets to arrive to see that there paper! Which now worries me as how do I not know Someone else has not re printed and sold them else where?
And to top it off the original sale price printed on the ticket is £50 so how the hell will I get my £137 back that u charged me for seats I didn’t even select!

I certainly won’t be using your site after this! As I had to then re purchase 2 more standing tickets to be with the friends already Attending the concert!
Leaving me £600 down for trying to have a nice evening seeing a band with friends!
Oh and my standing tickets haven’t even arrived yet! Even tho I bought them on the same day as the others!

Thanks get me in for robbing me!

Pricing a rip off off

Pricing a rip off off. No visibility on pricing calculation. Will not be using again. One star is generous.
In my case I did not know until the tickets arrived that there was a 100% mark up on the ticket face value; I wouldn't have bought them otherwise. "Get me In" don't tell you the face value. Be aware that the fees on top are another 20%. I'm glad that the government are looking into the whole issue of secondary ticketing and hope that they will clamp down on the practice. accordingly. June 27th update; just received an email from GET ME IN to say my account and payment details have been compromised by a hacking attack. Can it get any worse?

WORSE THAN TOUTS. RIP OFF.

WORSE THAN THE TOUTS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT YOU FROM. I listed my tickets that ave a ace value of £171 only to find get me in advertising them for £222, more than £50 each as a handling fee. RIP OFF. Will relish tickets on STUB HUB.

Terrible company

Terrible company! I purchased tickets last weekend for Jay Z + Beyonce since then I haven't had an email to confirm my order, on the website there is no way of finding out when your ticket will get to you and you get an automated reply from them. The concert is in 4 days and still haven't received any tickets getting anxious as I spent £107.
Getting no reply back on emails, can't get through on their number. Will def not be buying from this company again - looks as though everyone else has had the same trouble.. Or worse!

Devious trickery

Tried to buy a ticket through Ticketmaster and the website seemed slow as there was a rush (I assumed). I was swiftly redirected to Get Me In. Bought two tickets at a huge mark-up only to find out later that there were loads of tickets available through Ticketmaster. This seems to be an almighty scam and I can't see on their webpage how to email them.

Awful company

Awful company. Sold me the wrong tickets and are now refusing to refund me. Also claim that they only let members if the public sell tickets on the site when in fact it's also companies who are selling tickets and making a massive profit.

The site should be shut down!!!

Edited due to reply. Yes the company did get back to me with a generic reply and in no way helped me. I asked to contact the seller (a company not individual) and they ignored me. Until I said I was raising it with my bank. They have sold me 3 tickets for the wrong location. An error on their website.

I'm now out if pocket and they couldn't care less because they have the money!

Will never use them again. My husband has purchase tickets from them numerous times because of the good seats but now our money will go elsewhere.

Worried - help!

I recently sold a ticket on getmein

I recently sold a ticket on getmein, but I haven't got the Eticket to provide yet. Getmein is telling me to deliver the ticket to someone, when it's a Eticket? Also I would certainly love to cancel the processed sale. I was meant to unlist it when I get home from work, but didn't get the chance too. There is still 130 days till the event. It is not too late to consider.
Really begging you! Could I speak to the buyer also? I mean I do need his email to email the ETickets. Please be flexible with us :(

Once a sale is made against a listing you have entered into a contract to supply those tickets. In order to maintain a secure marketplace we ask all our Sellers to ship tickets using our specified delivery methods (normally UPS). .

It’s really important to correctly package your tickets in a hard backed envelope before sending - this is to avoid the tickets being lost or damaged on the conveyor belts during the sorting process at UPS. We want to make sure that tickets arrive safely with your buyer and avoid any delay to your payment. Our buyers are made aware that on some occasions sellers will not be able to dispatch their tickets until closer to the event, but once you have the tickets please post them on to your buyer.

I hope that this helps to explain this requirement.

Run for the hills. Ridiculous.

Absolute farce of a system. I have had to ring customer services multiple times due to the fact that the website does not supply enough detail about selling tickets. They informed me that I don't need to worry about ID checks but I am after reading negative reviews. They do not inform you that you will not receive your money until after the event, they do not inform you that you have to use UPS as a delivery system. Waited in all day and unsurprisingly, UPS never showed up. They informed me that I can take the tickets to a depot, they did not tell me this before. Customer service is disgusting, all I want to do is post the tickets so the buyer gets them within plenty of time, but they are making it very difficult. I feel like they deliberately try to sabotage the delivery of tickets so they can keep the money. If I actually receive my money after the event I will be amazed! Theft, fraud, scam. Avoid like the plague and run for the hills. Needless to say I will not use this company again.

Customer services are good

Customer services are good ! But nervous as my event is on Sunday and I still haven’t received my tickets yet ! Spoke to customer services and all I get told is to wait 3 days before the event he did call the seller but the seller didn’t answer so I’m now worried as I paid way over £200 for these tickets to the Demi Lovato concert in London ! It’s my first time buying off this website

But we’ve checked and your seller has now received their tickets and arranged onward posting to you. You should have a confirmation email including the tracking number to follow the delivery progress.

What a disgusting business practise

What a disgusting business practise, the shamelessness with which these vampires, these GHOULS, extort money from helpless and desperate fans is utterly vulgar. Unreliable, exploitative and just as seedy as the tout flogging you a £500 ticket up an alleyway. I welcome the inevitable day politicians grow a spine and protect our consumer rights by clamping down on these detestable business practises.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

Edit - typical response, 'sorry if there's been any confusion'. To whatever PR or social media staffer wrote this - you're not paid enough to make passive aggressive defences of a company that literally ANYONE can see is holding back hundreds of tickets to resell for a profit on their OWN reselling website. It's the worst kept secret in the live music industry.

The worst experience

The worst experience. Arrived at Bryan Adams tonight at the 02 and couldn’t get in because I didn’t have a printed ticket. When called to advise I had new tickets because the ones I had paid for were ‘not available’ anymore, was told I didn’t need to do anything just download tickets for the concert through link. Will never use this website again. The 02 implied my tickets could be fraudulent. Paid allot of money to enjoy a concert and was ruined because you are an untested website that required printed tickets in this day and age. Furious!!!!!!!! Wast of money and time. Never again will I use this website!!!!!!
