Plenty of vehicles to choose from within a reasonable distance and the app has useful filters to make selection of a vehicle easier to find quickly. Once use to the process of preparing the car for hire then all very straight forward and unlocked with the app and completed checks and off... I extended my rental with no bother through the app and with very little effort I had the car for an additional day. I returned it with the same if not a little more fuel than it had when the rental started and even gave it a wash and hoover ready for the next hire. Returned to the same if not as close as possible in a safe parking place and completed the checkout on the app and rental over with app locking the car with no problem. There was even additional time available after the hire ended to reopen and collect anything forgotten. Overall a pleasant and hassle free experience, thank you.

AWFUL

Hired a car which was returned on 26th April 23. The App clearly stated that the deposit will be on hold for another 5 days until the 1st May from the date of return and as if this was not long enough, it is now the 17th May and guess what?? NOTHING TO THIS DAY.
Getaround was super quick at taking the deposit within a minute of the booking being made though.
We have had nothing but misleading information and lies.
There was no mention on the App that it could take 5 to 10 days for the deposit to return to us but since then we have been told it can take 10 days plus. Getaround obviously has no conscience to leave people in such a dire financial situation but also distressed at having to sort this mess out because according to them once it is released they don't want nothing to do with it well WRONG because I am now seeking legal advice and will claim compensation.
I have hired many cars before and never have I had to wait that long for a security deposit to.come back to me it's usually within 48hrs MAX and straight in account none of this crap.
I have wasting my time trying to sort this out emailing GETAROUND and contacting my bank. It has left me anxious and upset most days as got bills to pay obviously they do not care about that either.
I want this money back ASAP enough is now enough.

Excellent service, would definitely recommend 👍

It was cheap here to hire.
However the additional mileage price was too expensive and doubled my booking cost. Refuelling the car added another 100% of initial booking cost.
Would suggest to increase the free mileage.
Was slightly dirty in the inside from the previous user, but the owner did not charge me anything for it.
Car was nice to drive overall.

To be honest everything is fine, but some of the car rental prices are too high. Thanks

Everything went very well and we were very pleased with the owner friendliness and availability. the car was good. Good value for money. Not had any problem, which is fantastic given the bad experience we had before with other car rental companies. Recommended.

Did not like the mileage comes with the day rental. 120 miles is no way enough for a full day rental. 200 miles should a bare minimum for a day rental. Car was OK.

Easy car and great service

The car was left in an easily accessible location. The app was extremely easy to use, very pleased with the whole experience .

The app is easy to use. I was advised of the vehicle location. Followed the instructions and bingo I was driving away with no fuss or bother. Never used anything like this before so was a bit apprehensive but have already booked my second hire. Well done.

The car was great. The registration process lengthy but understandable and easy. My complaint is I booked the car until 5 pm and returned it at 4.46. I was charged £15.75 for late return as I booked in Denmark and I assume because Uk is an hour behind the time was re adjusted to 4pm. This is not ok unless you make this explicit on booking.

La voiture est bien entretenue et garée dans un parking privé.
Accès facile pour récuperer la voiture et pour la retourner.

Cela fait plusieurs fois que je dois payer des frais supplémentaires à la restitution de la voiture (toujours la meme) car le relevé automatique ne correspond pas à la quantité d'essence que je mets alors que je fais le plein à chaque fois.

Heureusement le SAV est réactif mais cela reste contraignant car nécessite de faire des démarches de réclamation à chaque fois.

Lors de ma dernière réclamation le SAV a fait un geste commercial mais remet en question ma parole, laisse entendre que j'aurais pas fait le plein et qu'il n'y aurait aucun problème avec leur boitier de relevé automatique, ce que je n'apprécie pas.

Donc malheureusement je ne vais plus louer cette voiture via getaround et je commence meme à me questionner sur le fait de continuer ou non à utiliser l'appli ..

Unclear app timing entry leading to booking return time mix up and huge late fine. Customer support not contactable after the rental end. Will not use again.

It was very nice car thank u so much but the foot mat were not clean .
