Really happy with the service from Gary and Ryan - professional, efficient, fair value for money. Boiler serviced and a kitchen tap replacement.

Had a new boiler, radiators and pipe flush done by Gary and his son Ryan. First class job all round. Arrived on time and started straight away. Shortly after the old boiler and rads had been taken out, a recycle company arrived and uplifted the old material and left the garden clean. We live a first floor flat so there was a bit of ladder and external work required. Once again, after completion of that, all debris was removed. While working in the flat dust covers were used and after installation, the place was left tidy. At the end on the job, Ryan spent time with me taking me through the controls and the Vaillant App to ensure that we understood the boiler operation and could work it remotely, if required.
I have no hesitation in recommending G.D. Mills.

Gary and Ryan fitted our new boiler, pipes and radiators back in 2017 shortly after we moved into our home. They did an excellent job, to a really high standard, and were a pleasure to have in our home (which is really important for a big job that touched on every single room in the house!

They've since returned every year to service the boiler, and provided guidance and advice when a fault occurred with the boiler (which was rectified swiftly by the supplier, Vaillant).

We've been using G D Mills for about 15+ years now.
They have Installed, upgraded and maintained our gas boiler/central heating system.
The last couple of times included, a planned upgrade to a gas supply pipe for our boiler and second an unplanned water leak.
The pipe replacement went smoothly. Ryan was courteous, efficient and tidied up after himself. Some of the pipe run was visible (in a cupboard!!) and he took time to make it neat and no more obtrusive than it had to be.
The last time was a leaking central heating pipe (misplaced nail) on a Saturday leading up to Christmas. Gary was called (while shopping in Edinburgh) and had it fixed within a couple of hours.

My boiler broke down due to a frozen outside pipe. I was recommended by a friend to try this company.
G.D.Mills Plumbing & Heating, Loanhead. Ryan came to have a look at the pipe, and fixed it within two days. Excellent work, fast and efficient, and not expensive. I would recommend this company to anyone needing Plumbing and Heating repairs. I have given them 5 stars.

Excellent service over Christmas period. We were never without heating.

We have used GD Mills for 4 jobs over the last few years, dealing with both Gary and Ryan and they have been great. The most recent job was when we developed a fault with our heating on 4 January. I contacted them the next day and they replied within a few hours and gave a date 3 days later to come and fix it. After 2 days Gary phoned us to say he could actually come sooner and came by that afternoon and fixed the problem in about an hour. He had asked us about the fault and brought a replacement part with him he thought would be suitable and it was. We were delighted with the service we received during their busy first week back after the festive break and will always call GD Mills for our heating or plumbing jobs.

You won't find a better plumbing and heating company. Ryan and Gary are skilled, knowledgeable and experienced professionals. They provide a fast and friendly first class service.
During our new boiler installation they identified a leak which could have derailed the project, but they fixed it immediately - going above and beyond the scope of work. Can't recommend them highly enough!
