I wish I would have read the reviews before order. The plants received were not as per description. Some were not even healthy. The pictures on their website are misleading and description is incorrect. You will receive entirely way small and poor product. Stay away from them. Its worth to buy from local nurseries.

I ordered a bush rose - the large size of the pot indicating a good sized plant.
Their delivery charge doubled the cost and is way excessive.
The rose arrived- in the large pot- it was very small and when I took it out of the pot it became evident that it was a bare root stuffed into a pot as the compost in the pot bore no relationship to any that was stuck to the roots.
I wrote to them and got a reply that the plant was small so it would not get damaged in transit. And that if I waited it would grow bigger - strewth!
This felt like a scam.
Last ever transaction with this company- given their delivery charges I would suggest buying locally.

I have been buying from gardens4you for a few years and I am very pleased with everything I got they have a fantastic selection of plants and great quality garden accessories that are sustainable for many years would recommend

Quality of plants was dissapointing. Well packaged but delivery company were not careful with keeping the box upright.
Marketing is deceiving, your plants will look NOTHING like the images. Plants were over priced for what you get. Out of 11 plants I'm satisfied with 1. Biggest disappointment was the eucalyptus which were no cheap, the images show a lollypop shaped bush I literally got twig. I doubt it will even look like the picture in 5 years time. I am still waiting for a plant, the order was imcomplete. I'd rather get a refund at this stage as if the other plants were anything to go by the odds don't seem good. Overall I'm very disappointed I wish I would have researched the reviews before ordering. I got distracted by the marketing and photos which is very good but deceiving.

Have to admit I only came across these reviews after placing an order and was horrified at the thought of what I was going to receive,but to my surprise all 7 house plants where in perfect condition, delivery was in 5 days from date of order and my plants are beautiful,thank you

Misleading photos on what is promised and what actually gets delivered. I spent hundreds of euros in what is a complete fraud of marketing and while it has an ie (Irish domain) twigs and not plants are sent from europe. I would never used this misleading misadvertised overprised service ever again so be warned AVOID AVOID AVOID

Very good service. Package arrived on time and items were in perfect condition.

I used theses a lot in the past was ordering a lot of plants then as i went through the stages the post is just about €15 so OK plants can be cheap but with post cost I save Notting much so I'll stick to local

I ordered 2 small and 2 large houseplants. They arrived within 6 days. I was very impressed with the packaging as all plants were in perfect condition on opening.
I naively only read the reviews when I came on to write this one and am shocked at how bad others have found the service. Personally, I would recommend them on my experience.

Ordered 6X Red Erica Carnea specifically for the colour red, they arrived today completely the wrong colour (green and light pink).
When I emailed the customer service team they have advised I use acidic soil which apparently will eventually turn them red. WHAT THE HELL? that's not what I paid for!!
Outrageous service - do not order from here.

I ordered 16 plants from Gardens4You.ie in July. Six (x6) of the plants (Juniperus horizontalis Limeglow) arrived with browning of the leaves which I naively put down to the 7+ day delivery time. Since then, the plants got progressively worse and died.

I complained to Gardens4You.ie as the plants had obviously arrived with an invasive disease. Their customer service dept. said they couldn't do anything about it and blamed possible fertilizer I used. (Since planting them in the ground, I hadn't applied any fertilizer so I'm not sure what they are on about).

Based on my above experience, I will not be purchasing from Gardens4You.ie ever again. Despite having a .ie domain name, Gardens4You.ie is actually a Dutch company.

As the plants had obviously arrived diseased, I would have expected replacement plants or a refund. I have received neither...

Very poor service.
I ordered 6 plants which arrived quite promptly.
4 were of good quality, if a bit small, but 2 were leggy with a lot of dead wood. This is not acceptable quality.
I of course wrote to Gardens4you and their reply was just silly. Telling me about leaf fall, grown outside in the nursery, etc. All baloney.
I had a plant nursery, and I grew and sold plants....I know plants and these fell short of what should have been shipped.
Bad customer service and I will not buy from them again.

Bought €70 worth of plants. Arrived in a few days in very good condition. Very well packed. Only complaint is the company advise they will send you an email when the plants have been dispatched. I recieved no email but the plants arrived in a few days anyway.

Very strange as I received 3 emails Monday morning thanking me for my €15 order plus a pdf recipt. The strange part about this is I have NOT PLACED OR PAID FOR ANYTHING, Ok i must amend this review today as unbeknown to me this was a supprise 70th Birthday present for me and i recieved 2 plants in perfect condition and still moist ready to replant so appologies to the Dutch firm who sent them out. As a pensioner who lives alone i am always dubious of Emails with my name and a recipt saying thanks for paying as i tend not to buy anything online, my advice is always be aware and do not download or klik on any links until you are absolutly certain.

I bought from this site before I realised the company is based in the Netherlands and that the plants would be arriving from there. I wanted to support an Irish company. Hey ho. I ordered ten plants from the sale. There is a visual disparity shall we say between a shrub advertised and the one I received, although the label says it is indeed the shrub I ordered so how can I complain? Two grasses arrived half-dead and the bushes had been cut perhaps to fit the packaging box but probably just to cut off the many dead twigs. To be fair, customer service did respond. Initially, when they gave me the wrong tracking number and then when I sent them photos complaining about the poor condition of part of my order. To give you an idea as I can't post photos onto Trustpilot, one browning and dehydrated grass had been cut like a square of turf and pressed into a small plastic pot. Anyone who cares about plants wouldn't treat them this way. A company who respects their customers wouldn't sell such bad quality products. Customer service told me that the dead leaves and branches were part of the natural process, having been "exposed to wind, sun and rain". And "don't worry, just remove the leaves by hand". That "once planted in the garden, it will grow harmoniously with the seasons for many years to come". So Mother Nature to the rescue apparently. I'd say they hadn't been watered. By the way, I told the company I would have to leave a disappointing review. They should be used to it by now.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. I would not give even 1 star to this company. Bought from them 8 plants. They arrived today, very unhealthy plants, feel sorry for these poor plants. The company obviously doesn’t care about its own reputation neither about the customers. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, please stick to your local garden centres, no matter what prices are.

After reading reviews here I was a bit afraid to order, but Gardens4you had a rose of the colour I wanted in stock (Doris Tysterman) so I purchased it. They shipped my order via DPD on the next day, and I received it like 3 or 4 days later, which is fast. Two or three stems with buds were slightly damaged in transportation, but it was expected tbh, and overall the rose is healthy and survived well, for which I am grateful. I enjoy my new flower, it's a nice addition to my small garden :)

I bought a hydrangea from this company. It took three years to flower, which I thought was just normal as it was only small when I received it, but when it flowered, it certainly wasn’t what they were supposed to have sent me. It should’ve been a snowball hydrangea and it clearly was not. I got in touch with the company and they sent me a short sharp, not very nice email saying I should’ve complained in the first year. How could I have complained in the first year as it had not flowered so I didn’t know it was the incorrect flowering hydrangea! Absolutely rubbish customer service. Steer clear from them as they are not worth the effort.

Misleading advertising. I purchased two standard Korean lilac. I was not expecting them to be fully mature but what I recieved was two twigs with tiny leaves grafted on which will take years to flower. I would not recommend purchasing from gardens4you.

Gave me 185 euro worth of diseased plants with candida. Once i complained And sent pictures, they have not responded or given refund.
