On Sunday the 4th March 2024 I bought a pair of ladies size 12 Jeans from French Connection. I tried them on in store and they seemed to fit okay, when I paid I informed the sales assistant that I wished to continue to wear them and she subsequently cut the price label off. During that afternoon the jeans became very loose fitting on me and were literally falling down, they also became very baggy (they now seem more like a size 14). I am unable to wear these jeans again as they are literally falling off me. I would appreciate it if I could exchange the jeans for a size 10 or receive a refund. I have the receipt which was sent to me by email. I do not have any other size 10 clothing as I am normally a size 12 or 14. The material they are made with definitely needs to be looked at.

Do not trust - Buyer Beware!
I recently returned vial mail 2 separate clothing items approximately 2-3 weeks ago and I have not yet received return confirmation from the French Connection USA site. I even have confirmation from USPS that both items were delivered back to their warehouse in Jamaica, NY.

This merchant is not following standard ecommerce selling practices and I will not be shopping from this site ever again. If you spot a FC product you like, you're better off ordering from a Retailer that you can trust will guarantee you a timely refund.

Had some difficulty with items arriving and postage, none of which were the customer care team's fault. However, the customer care team have been one of the best I've ever dealt with, always extremely friendly, helpful and doing their absolute best to make things right. A true example of how every customer care team should operate. Thank you so much for sorting out all the issues I've experienced.

My daughter bought me blue leather slippers for Christmas (bless her) with (faux?) Sheepskin liner. Look great and comfortable. However, I work, not a particularly heavy manual job, 5 on my feet most of the day and when I get home I put my slippers on. I soon realised they absorbed foot sweat and soon began to stink! FCUK must know this unless they expect everyone who wears their slippers not to actually do any real work? Very disappointed.

What an unpleasant surprise! I've been shopping there (online) for years and was quite happy with everything- including customer service, and all of a sudden it went really bad; Not only did they suddenly stop deliveries to Israel, without giving their loyal customers here any notice or warning- just like that- one day you're trying to check out on the UK site, and receive the notice delivery to your country is no longer available- then they refer you to their EU site- which is more expensive and takes A LOT more time to get back to you- but the advisor specifically writes that deliveries to Israel are still available there- and then another advisor decides they don't deliver to israel, despite what's written in the delivery table -

Well, Dear French Connection, I like your clothing items, mostly, but I really don't like your disrespectful attitude towards loyal customers, and I can see other people here- LOTS OF THEM- don't like it either. Maybe you should re-think how you treat people who chose to spend their money wih you.

First time I’ve ever written a Trust Pilot review and the first time I’ve ever ordered from French Connection and it will be the last! You get zero stars.

I usually don’t get to a point where I would write a negative review but almost 2 months on after my return (UK665023) was received by the warehouse I am still chasing a refund!

Apparently the warehouse team received an item from another brand back? Who would do this?! I can be sure I sent the right dress back to them - I wasn’t sending anything back to any other retailer at the time.

I have given all the details I can, I have all dates and emails saved - I have never experienced anything like this!

Today I’ve been updated and according to the warehouse the “wrong item” should have been sent back to me via Royal Mail in… December. No sight of it. I’m really struggling to believe this and getting increasingly more upset and stressed out, I’m out of pocket £66.50.

The whole situation is insane to me. Now I’ve been fobbed off to chase Royal Mail?

I should have read the reviews here before ordering.

French Connection, do better.

This is an absolute joke.

I receive an email confirmed my returned item has been received at the warehouse on 10/01/24. 29/01 and I still haven't received my refund. Stop holding my money and refund me, I returned your item!

Edit: No it's not a lost return because your customer service team confirmed your warehouse received the item. Refund me my item or I'm issuing a chargeback with my bank. Order number is UK702867.

I placed my first order with French Connection at the end of December. I felt they were a long-established, reputable brand so didn't even think to look at these reviews - although I wish I had! Firstly I had to chase for my delivery, my order was placed on 31st December and delivered on 12th January, which I was not impressed with at all.

Once my order was delivered I was disappointed with every single item - poor quality and poor fit, the clothes looked and felt very cheap, so I decided to return them all. I used French Connection's return portal and received an email from them with my returns label, and a link to track my return.

My return was collected from my home by Royal Mail on 15th January and delivered to French Connection on 17th January - as the tracking link on the email French Connection sent me states. I have now had to chase my refund, only to be told they don't have a record of receiving my return in their warehouse. I was asked to send them proof of postage, which I have done, but cannot understand why I need to supply this when I used their returns label and their tracking number states my return has been delivered.

Now I am wasting even more of my time chasing a full refund (which I sincerely hope I will receive). I am appalled by the lack of efficiency, customer service and an eCommerce system that clearly isn't working. I will never be ordering from French Connection again.

The company does not create clothes that are built to last and instead is feeding the issues of fast fashion, which contradicts their eco-mission statement on their website.
Jeans will last you no more than three years, and according to their customer support, this is sufficient.

Delivery cost €9 and took over two weeks. Tracking number wouldn't work so I was left in the dark. Customer service responded only after the dress had been delivered. The material of the dress was cheap, the shape was weird, and construction felt poor, e.g. the loops for the buttons at the neck of the dress weren't actually big enough to fit the buttons. To top it all off, I had to pay for return postage. What a complete waste of time of a site. Used to be such a nice brand - stay clear!!!

A very long wait for items to be delivered. Put order in on 4th Jan and was delivered today 17th Jan. I’m returning most of items as I bought elsewhere in the meantime.

If I could give zero stars I would.

My parcel has not arrived.
Customer service do not reply to emails.
The live chat is not in operation.
The tracking page does not load.

Honestly - do these people not take any pride in their work at all?

HOWEVER - I’ve no more faith in this issue being resolved.
If you look at the last 10 reviews here, 7 have been 1 star. I’ve never seen anything like that - let alone for a multinational company like French connection.

Whoever is in charge of customer service needs to be fired because they’re clearly not able to do their job - and whoever is above them needs to be fired also to allow this go for the sane reason. I will never order online from then again.

Ordered 9 days ago and delivery was supposed to be 5 working days. Received an email to confirm my order and nothing since.
When I made contact to find out what was happened I was told it would be within 5-7 days as per the confirmation email, but still no sign of the coat even being despatched. No replies received to my follow up emails (and just no response to online chat either).
To summarise, dreadful customer service.
This was my first order with French Connection and will probably be my last.
Wish I had read the other reviews on here before ordering.

Firstly got order wrong; different colour to what was requested. Secondly ask for return have to go back and forth with emails. Told label were attached when there weren't. Despite requesting post office QR code to return.
Need to review there return procedure, especially as they made the error. Should not be down to me to keep on rectifying French Connection mistakes.

Order not received on time for when needed. Very disappointing level of customer service when chasing my order.

Very poor customer service, it is impossible to get in touch, they do not reply to mails and the live chat doesn’t work, the delivery of my order is incredibly late and I don’t know where my parcel is at the moment because also the tracking provided is not working. Absurd..

FCUK - my most favourite brand of clothing which I can order in confidence knowing the clothing is true to size and great quality. Stand out from the crowd designs :).
Customer service is excellent! I recently made an enquiry and even though its sale season it was dealt with promptly.

order placed 7 days later still not recieved ?

I ordered a dress £110.00
For New Year’s Eve and it didn’t come so I was left with no outfit, I am still waiting on a delivery date and for the parcel to be dispatched. Extremely disappointing.

Disaster service in Meadowhall. Very unprofessional and not friendly staff.
