Free People are genuinely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with! I bought trainers in April, returned them in August after they agreed they were faulty, and I’ve been without my £142 ever since.

They confirmed they’d received the return but keep giving me the same “wait 28 days” excuse - it’s now months later and still no refund. Every message goes to a different advisor, none of whom seem to know what’s going on.

It’s clear they don’t care about their customers or their obligations under consumer law. I’ve had to take this further with Trading Standards and my bank just to try to get my money back.

There are so many other bad reviews saying the same thing - I wish I’d read them first.

Avoid Free People completely. Unreliable, unhelpful, and not to be trusted!

Avoid ordering online with them! I ordered a pair of shoes back in the beginning of September. Online they stated that they were in stock after I made the purchase I was made aware that they were in backorder. The shipping date keeps changing. My issue is that they need to take accountability for their logistics issues and stop marking items in stock when I fat they are back ordered.

There clothes is unique and beautiful and classic. Good policy return.

Ordered a sized 2 dress, it got sent as a 6.

I re-ordered, and the 2nd one came. This was a size 8 and had makeup on it.

Clearly zero QA and unhelpful customer support when I tried to get in touch.

All returns have been handled quickly and yesterday Taylor in UTC was extremely helpful and went out of her way to take are of three items from different orders quickly and made it a good experience..I order quite often and I have always been happy with outcomes .from your company and the fastest cash returns of all companies I order from .Also I wish I didn’t like your clothes so much ;keeps me saying just one more item✌️🧝‍♀️

I was a little worried considering the reviews but I had a good experience with Free People. I ordered a few items and they arrived very quickly. While an item came with a small hole (things happen!) I could exchange them on the app and the exchange was processed and the new pair arrived in a week. All the clothes feel lovely and comfortable and high quality. Whenever I had a query with customer service I had very helpful and speedy responses even when I contacted them through email. Definitely would order again.

Arnaqueurs au plus haut point. Il ne veule rien savoir des retours de marchandise. Et avec leur fichu président qui change de décision comme de chaussettes, les retours sont suspendus. Puis je attendre pour vous les rendre ? non, vous avez 30 jours ! N'ACHETEZ PAS CHEZ FREE PEOPLE ET PARTAGEZ MASSIVEMENT !

EVERYONE behind the scene in this company is demonic. From Richard Epstein Hayne to every woman who sells their soul and sleeps with the old dog to have a position in that company. NEVER SAVE YOUR CARD TO THEIR SITE. Mr Hayne allows his slaves to use your card and protects their every move. Dirty, deceitful, and inhumane company.

WORST COMPANY EVER. Do not order from the website everrrr. It took them a year, yes a YEAR to refund one simple stupid item. I had to email them 30 times.

I have read many reviews here and if I had read these first I wouldn’t had used , however,
I brought a pair of DMs that are £170 elsewhere… these were 120 and immaculate perfect .

£50 cheaper and arrived in 5 days from US and delivers by DPD

Easy transaction so cannot fault them so far

The thing about free people is it couldn't be more overpriced. For the most part in my limited experience the things are sell aren't awful quality but you're better spending your money elsewhere if you're willing to spend this much. What I actually cannot stand about freepeople is the awful price and time of their deliveries. Why is the quickest delivery time weeks! And it still doesn't arrive on time. Don't even bother shopping from here there are so many better brands that sell the same stuff.

Marque à fuir!!!! Pour les retours, vous payez 20 euros de livraison pour qu'au final le colis me soit renvoyé car non réclamé. Et quand j'essaie de voir avec le service client, c'est débrouillez vous!

So I ordered a top. It arrived with a hole in the back. I sent it back, waited & waited. New top arrived not an XS but a medium.. the size if it is bigger than a three man tent! Couldn’t log in, reset password wouldn’t work. Went on line chat, waited and waited. No stock left, send a refund. First & last time I’ll use Free People

Free people now seems very scammy when ordering on line. Same experience as others. Box arrived open. Plastic bag of one item open. Item was inside out and obviously warn by someone. Made a return which shows it arrived but no refund. Have not been able to get customer service to answer and you can’t email them. Very expensive lesson. NO business for Free people.

The website is terrible. I wasted an hour trying to buy an item my wife had pointed out. Just a single item.
Having now read the reviews here, it seems I have had a lucky escape!

Bought dress online, showing as in stock and would be shipped within 5-7 days. A week later email received saying order cancelled as nil stock. I contact customer service who say sorry, then offer 10% discount, then when I say I can find 10% discount online, they offer 15%. I dont want a discount. I want the dress I ordered at full price. Appalling service. They sell items they don't have.
Avoid avoid avoid

They do not process refunds for online purchases and give the exact same brushoff when contacted to avoid actually committing to the refund - even with proof that return was made. It is always we will escalate this for review and get back to you - and they never get back to you.

Pray you do not need a refund

This company uses Lasership or other low-level shipping providers. Every time I order something from them, I'm taking a gamble on whether I will get the delivery. They do not care that their packages are left in insecure locations. They make no effort to ensure the items are delivered to their clients.

Don't use.
Refund exchange process the hardest I've ever had. No communication as to why exchange refund is delayed. And then some weird requirement for a code from your bank to verify something they have already taken the money for before they can exchange

You are dealing with an American company.

Clothes also too big and poor quality for the price. It's a shame as the photos make the clothes amazing.
