Since 1923 Francotyp-Postalia Ltd has been operating in the UK, for over 21 years we have been simply known as FP Mailing. FP have always been at the forefront of innovation introducing the first automatic franking machine, the first electronic franking machine, the first digital franking machine, first inkjet machine and more recently the first multi-carrier machine to meet the new de-regulated age. Realising the importance of Customer Service we have built a Customer Support Team based in the UK that are dedicated to dealing with customers questions and a highly skilled team of engineers ready to assist customers with breakdowns and service calls. Swift and helpful
I wanted to update the email address on the company account, for the username, from a previous member of staff and, on emailing the support team, Nicola C. was prompt with her response and amended the email address as per my request with no fuss whatsoever! Best Company ever
I have been with FP Mailing for so many years now and they are the only company I can truly say I don't feel stressed when I need to call them if I have any issues. The ladies I speak to are so understanding and helpful It is to be honest almost a joy to have an issue so I can call someone. Always never too much trouble

Sarah Read was great for customer support today and solved our design problem for us. As well as having the answer to any question I had about the new machine.
Charging me $3k for a meter they lost 2 years ago
I opened an accont with FP mailing and the first meter that I received was broken and would not connect or update. I spoke with the company they sent me a new meter and I returned the old meter. Now 2 years later they send me a bill for a lost meter of nearly $3000. They put it on me to prove 2 years later that they received the meter. Furthermore, I have spent the last 8 months dealing with them and trying to get a resolution. They have now suspended my use of the meter and during the period of time where we have been trying to resolve the lost meter they auto renewed my account. They are now trying to charge for the lost meter and the auto renew on the account. Ridiculous customer service. How can I be required to prove a shipping return 2 years later.

Great customer service
I spoke to Bobby today who couldn't have been more helpful, as is the case with every representative that I speak to from FP Mailing. She explained an aspect of the account that I wasn't aware of and dealt with my request in a courteous and polite manner.
Billing Query
Slight query re an invoice and credit note. Accounts team dealt with the issue really efficiently and all resolved in one call.

I was approached by a sales rep to use…
I was approached by a sales rep to use their service. I explained in great detail I would be ready to use their equipment when I started trading. I delayed the initial delivery due to not starting trading, it's pointless paying for a franking machine when I have nothing to frank. However the machine arrived and I again contacted FP to explain I was not trading. Incidentally the lovely sales assistant was either on holiday or in a meeting whenever I called the office to speak with her!!. I was sent an invoice which I queried but paid and then another landed in the post. When I explained AGAIN, I have nothing to frank and refused to pay it, as I have no income to pay for the machine, knowing my situation and having previously been informed by them not to open the box, otherwise I would be liable for it. They are still insisting I have to now pay £86.40 + VAT to release me from their contract. A total waste of money and a total immoral company, with no empathy or support for small businesses. I have already reported them to Trading Standards, who will hopefully look into their contracts. Moral of the storey, do not believe anything a hungry commission sales rep sells you. Stay CLEAR
