I was sent the wrong edition of a new book and Lisa very quickly arranged for a new copy to be sent and for the original to be collected.
Very speedy resolution.

Have only recently found Foyles Books online when I wanted to order some of the Angela Marson DI detective Kim book series, plus some others too. Items that were in stock and available were dispatched quickly, packed well and arrived in perfect condition. Kept up to date in my account on the app where I can see books that are left to be sent, updated with what’s happening. I also didn’t realise when I ordered about the Foyalty rewards, I reached out to customer service to see if the points from my recent two orders could be added (I’d spent a fair amount). Alyssa came back really quickly and sorted it all out for me, super impressed with the speed of responses and really helpful too. I’ll definitely order more books from Foyles in the future.

Prompt response to my email enquiry. For an out of print publication. They have it in stock! Placed online order today. Thank you Foyles.

Quick resolution to my online payment problem and helping me with alternate payment methodsade the process of purchasing remote very easy. Relieved that there was someone responding to the call for help and resolving the issue for me. Thanks very much!

I forgot to use my Foyalty card in the shop but was told I could add the points via my receipt online. On a day when nothing else worked, Alyssa sorted this for me and I am glad customer service still thrives at Foyle's! Thanks again Alyssa.

I purchased a ticket for a book launch event which included a copy of the book. Was not able to attend for and contacted several times to ask if I could still get the bookm whcih I had paid for. No reesponseof any kind.

I asked Foyles customer support in connected with an author. It turned out not to be something that Foyles dealt with but they not only responded in super fast time and on a Saturday but also provided helpful information to contact another organisation (with contact details) which resolved my query. Very helpful and efficient. Thanks

I made a pre-order for a book. Release day came and went without an update from Foyles. I contacted them for an update and I was advised that they have now run out of stock and they would have to contact the suppliers to ask when they can get more. Just to get this information from the suppliers will take 2 to 3 days.

Essentially, they forgot about my pre-order and now they cannot fulfil it. I will not be ordering from Foyles again.

This is why companies like Foyles are loosing customers to Amazon.

I have been a regular customer of Foyles since my undergraduate, and have not never had trouble with their service. Whether it is on site or via email, the staffs, and the advisers have been of tremendous support and genuinely kind, which is one of the reasons why I love coming back to them to buy my favourite novels and screenplays. They have always been helping to me, and they are a store I will frequently visit again and again.

Items ordered months ago for a community event, never received - multiple emails sent and not a single reply and no sign of any items. Total scam! Avoid at all costs

This company stole my money two months ago.I ordered large inflatable football in rugby.Goals. spent $80 and when I went to look to see when would my items be delivered? The store closed up. They're on my shop app.And then I was told to go to spotify. No one has been able to help me yet.

Great variety of books, very reasonable prices and fantastic service customer where you actually talk to PEOPLE, rather than bots and automated systems!!!Be mindful that you may need to wait a bit longer for books to be delivered as it may take time for them to get the books directly from the publisher (I didn't read to terms and conditions when I initially bought the the books) as they may need to get them from different publishers(as I was explained when I rang them to cancel the order).Despite this, the order came sooner than they predicted!

Simply my favourite bookshop in London. Great selection of books, fantastic staff and enough till points to reduce queues to a minute or two. When I retire, I plan to live there!

I was given brilliant service - warm and highly informed, efficient and effective. I went in with a loose idea of what I wanted and came out with everything I could have wanted. It was a really positive experience and one I'd be very happy to repeat.Thank you Foyles and please look after your splendid staff !!

Great customer service

I questioned a payment taken from my account when I thought I’d payed in full. Lisa explained the payment and was able to clearly show me my order and where the payment came from. Quickly, efficiently and politely. The error was mine but she was very gracious.

Extremely rude condersending young man behind counter whilst on a visit today.
I was enquiring about a tai chi book order which was still pending after after several weeks waiting.His rather cynical attitude was simple well if iv’e not received any text then it’s not arrived and on further requesting wether he could check this appeared to ignore my request and suggest I go and check on the 2nd floor and speak to somebody there instead? Not exactly good customer service but I was not the only person who has noticed this simply type in poor customer service at Foyles online to see this!.
If people who work in retail are cynical and hostile to customers then why are they working in retail in the first place?.
Anyhow my advice stop paying publishers full prices and by at a discount elseware forget Folyes loyalty card because there getting back at least twice the cash benefit in return for shoddy service my how things have changed won’t be setting foot in there again!.
