Foodpanda is an interesting delivery service, but the delivery time itself is quite long, and also after canceling an order the money is not refunded immediately, sometimes it can take a couple of days.

Not able to deliver on time and yet cannot cancel???? This is daylight robbery. Not fit to be in business if cant keep to the delivery time!!!!!?

Terrible service, got my order wrong and tried to strongarm me into getting half the amount I paid then the other half a 2$ vouncher that only last for just one day. Unacceptable, go use deliveroo or grabfood instead.

2nd time in a row an item is missing in my grocery delivery and when you indicate what happened to the customer service, their only reply is: "sorry we can’t refund". Then no help at all anymore. After exactly same thing happened again it looks like a pattern. So I’ll not order there anymore since all the time items are missing and also they really have the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Ordered $150 worth of Starbucks food and beverages and pre scheduled for a delivery with specified instructions on who to contact. The driver decided to dump the order at the back gate of a school where nobody will ever find it and left without contacting the person. The food was left there for almost 2 hours and it turned bad. After speaking to Food Panda, they denied their bad service and push away all their responsibility and refused to provide any remediation or refund. The agent ended the chat abruptly and denied all responsibility of bad services. All they said is we will feedback internally.

We had ordered from Saladstop on 10-Sept lunch time. The rider reached our home with completely wrong order. Rider reached out to their service team - but got poor response - he chatted with them 4 times with no proper response - this is to their own rider!! Finally he left taking back the food items as undelivered. When i reached out on chat after great difficulty, the customer service person was extremely rude and refused to provide any refund saying that they can't do anything at all. We finally posted on social media and a person reached out to chat again. We again provided receipt showing wrongorder details, and also photo of wrong order items, and they kept pushing pack on flimsy reason. Needless to say their response is poor and no refund has been done till now. Best to avoid food panda for any ordering, much worse than other delivery apps with poor customer service. If possible, would have given them 0 star.

System glitches and the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Grabfood way better in quality of service and the attention they pay to customer needs. Today is the last day I use this app after yet another VERY rude encounter with their customer support. The restaurant added eggs to my food even after I clearly mentioned not to do so because I'm very allergic to eggs. After messing me about for 3 days, saying the food has not been delivered on their system so they can't address it, Foodpanda claim it is not their responsibility so I should go speak to the restaurant instead and then left the chat.

They obviously don't care about their service, seeing how low their ratings are here.

I placed an order for a home delivery from McDonald on National Day, however, had to cancel after placing the order. Till now, I had not received my refund. I had feedbacked twice to their online chat, but it did not seem to be effective.

The company with the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

My delivery was a no-show and marked as delivered. Took me 6 hours to argue with the bots at their customer service to get my money back. They did not have any helpline and you could only text using their messenger. They will reply with template answers and beat around the bush, hoping to tire you out.

In the end, the refund was in Foodpanda credits and I was forced to use their services again, even though I paid using my credit card.

If you still want to use their services, REMEMBER TO SELECT CASH AS PAYMENT METHOD. Or else you will waste the next few hours of your time trying to claw your money back.

Shops on the app say free delivery. Yet foodpanda still charges for it even if u hit the min spend.

Also the pandapro gives u free delivery for $30 minspend.
Grab does the same for $15 min spend.
Foodpanda has lesser food selections for me as well.

Overall just an inferior product, at the very least compared to grabfood.

I would like to share this out to advice that please be prepared that what experience you will have if you are foodpanda user but haven got this experience before...
I did checked with help center regarding the delivery fee as i can see my apps was showing that pandapro subcriber entitled free delivery, somehow when i was about to check out, the system shown i would need to pay for the delivery fee and even higher ( thought of non peak hour ), so foodpanda help center staff asked me to proceed with the order but do come back with them with the charges occured, and i proceed then...
After the order completed, i went back to the help center, they refused to refund me for the delivery fee and saying that "the restaurant dint participate in any promotion of free delivery", i told them i checked with the staff before i place order, and proof them our conversation , but they just ignore me and keep repeating on the same excuse !
Ended up they just end the chat box and never even solve the problem ! I started another chat, they still repeating the same thing they did, finding excuse, ignored my word and close the chat ! I have more than 10 times experienced that help center ended my chat without solving any problem! Everytime they would just apology and said that give a chance for the improvement, but what they have been improved all along? They even no longer have email support, what you face will just go to their lousy help center...They wont bother any complaints and feedback now as they thought their business expanded..
I never have any bad experience with other delivery platform seriously, i wish i could attach the photo here to proof that how terrible they are...

A 120 baht voucher disappeared from my account after winning it. I told “Phutidda M.” at customer support, and her suggestion was to turn off my phone and reinstall the app. She offered no customer support, and was rude and completely avoidant of the issue. She should not be communicating with your customers, and as a customer who has spent tens of thousands of dollars on Food Panda, this experience is shameful and embarrassing to your company. All links with the customer support agent I have been screenshotted. Please follow up with the customer support agent, whose service has been terrible, and follow up with me based on this review and experience…

The rider put the grocery outside the lift lobby ,didn't intercom my unit , and said it is delivered ,when I saw the picture of proof where they delivered, I quick went out to check,the item didn't there.
And foodpanda help center said can't help cos rider said delivered.

Pre-ordered food from foodpanda at 10am to be delivered at 1230pm. However, food was not delivered even until 130pm. Wrote in to check on the order only to realise rider just picked up the order. Customer service staff told me that food will be delivered by 2pm. However, food was not delivered at promised time. Customer service staff closed the case without resolving the issue. When i messaged the rider directly, he mentioned that he needs to deliver 2 more orders in another neighborhood. This is very ridiculous. If foodpanda is unable to fulfil the order within stipulated time, do give an honest answer so customer can decide whether to cancel the order. This is better than having the customer wait for 2hrs only to have to cancel the order in the end. The customer service staff also did not offer satisfactory service recovery and closed the chat without resolving any issues. This is very irresponsible of foodpanda. Foodpanda should review how they assign delivery riders and re-train their customer service staff on how to respond to cases like the above.

Decided to subscribe to their foodpanda “pro” option which supposedly gives unlimited free delivery over a certain value and extra discounts. Discovered that the free delivery is completely misleading by comparing orders with a friend where they actually got free delivery automatically from the restaurant over $25 while i was paying $6 delivery for same order on “pro”. Raised this with their chat system and while i was trying to explain the situation the guy just says they can’t refund my subscription (paid less than an hour earlier) , said “I am ending this chat now” and cut me off. so rude. Don’t be taken in by their pro-motion. Don’t use them. There are better options. I am now stuck with “pro” for a year. This is such a dishonest business.

Update - they did it again - tried out pro with a restaurant offering free delivery and a standard 30% off for orders over 30$ - guess what - they automatically apply the free delivery - yippee - but then you can’t get the 30% off which normally applies - so $5 down on a $30 order by buying pro! And customer service he say ***** off. What a bunch of scammers.

BEWARE!!!!

FOOD IS COLD OR DELIVERY IS CANCELED LAST MINUTE.

This is happening more and more often now. Delivery rider goes around the neighborhood delivering several orders so more likely than not your food will arrive cold.

Then during rainy weather for example they will suddenly cancel your order LAST MINUTE at a time the food was already supposed to be delivered making it incredibly hard to order elsewhere.

FOODPANDA, you have horrible customer service! Advise to use Deliveroo instead, cheaper and much more reliable!

The food panda is ridiculous. Type vegetarian food, all the Indian and malay food varieties are reflected. Kindly improve yr app.
