Thought we had after care coverage for 5yrs after lens replacement.
Contacted Focus for a query to be told no general after care after 3 years and to go and find another clinic.
Have since been contacted by Rui Pedro De Olivera the Clinic Manager to tell me I had been misinformed, as my wife needed an additional surgical treatment. He arranged for an immediate appointment with Mr Hamada who was able to sort out the problem.
Thank you and the Focus Team for excellent service.
Have no hesitation in recommending Focus to my friends.

I'm so glad I chose to have lasik at FOCUS. I felt very looked after and every process before and after is all to get the best possible outcome. My eyes were initially too dry to have the procedure, and instead of just pushing on through or rejecting me, Dr Allamby gave me the advice I needed to tackle the dry eyes and come back when they were ready for the surgery. The procedure was quick and easy, and the after care has been amazing too! My husband and my brother also had their surgery here and we are all so pleased with our experiences. I will 100% recommend FOCUS to anyone I know considering surgery!

It is now 20 months since I had RLE and I’ve gone from needing glasses for distance and reading for not needing any glasses at all.

Highly professional.

Only negatives:

1. They changed the appointment from 1 week before to 3 days before. IF your eyes are too dry they will insist on a treatment that takes 1 week. Luckily I did not need this

2. In their leaflet it says they do a yearly checkup. In person they say they discharge you after 6 months

3. They tell you to take 2g flax seed oil per day before and after treatment, the surgeon then says to SOME people 3g per serving. They should make this consistent

4. I didn’t find Mr Hamada as personable as I thought he would be

I had a fantastic experience at the Focus Clinic. Mr Allamby is a very competent surgeon and I am very pleased with the outcome.

Focus Clinic has the best laser eye services and all the stuff at this facility are all professional and trust Worthy. I love how they worked on my eye and I would definitely recommend anyone to visit their facility for the best eye care.

The laser eye treatment was excellent, the clinic provided me with extremely high standard of duty of care.

It's been a year since I had my treatment and I still have great eye sight, however I think it's to early to comment on long term outcome.

I had a very good experience they explained me everything in details beforehand so that I knew what to expect and they also look after you very well after the operation.

It’s now been almost a year since I had my surgery and I don’t know how I ever lived without it. A year in and absolutely no issues with my eyes, to the point sometimes I even forget that I had surgery done and I have forgotten all of my struggles with glasses and contact lenses. Massive thanks again to all at focus!

I'm leaving a follow up review as it has been 3.5 months since my surgery and my eyes still feel good as new!

I'm lucky to not be suffering with dry eyes - everything feels normal just with 20/20 vision :)

My next follow up is in Oct and I'm confident that it'll go as well as my previous experiences.

I had my eyes done 3 years ago and they’re still doing great- I love not having to worry with glasses and contacts. The aftercare with Focus has been brilliant and I was seen when covid restrictions allowed to ensure everything was going well- would thoroughly recommend!

Exceptional service from the very beginning all the way through to the after care. Highly recommend. Great friendly staff who answered every question immediately and with so much help.

Back for an extension on my last review posted around 2 weeks ago: I honestly can't thank the team at Focus Clinic enough. Customer service is superb and their knowledge is equally great. I started the Lasik surgery process in May 2021. Unfortunately my surgery had to be delayed a year due to my prescription changing significantly in less than 12 months, and I am thankful to Dr David Allamby for postponing. The team contacted me again for my new prescription in February 2022 and I was booked back in for consultation and for treatment. All I can say is "Wow". From start to finish the team were with me every step of the way, and so empathetic when I was overwhelmed following my surgery as I could see immediately. David and his team have changed my life and I am so pleased I went with the best.
Update: Another check up later, and I am still so pleased. My vision is better than 20:20, the team remain so friendly and have seriously changed my life. I popped back on 9th July to make sure everything was healing, and I even spotted my glasses in the bowl that I put in on 1st July! Thank you again Dr Allamby and team. You're amazing. See you again in 5 weeks!

From the very first call with Focus Clinics, I have been very impressed with their customer service. Since my surgery on Saturday I have been recommending them to everyone I have been talking to. I never felt pressured into the surgery unlike some of the other companies you see advertised everywhere. All the staff are very professional and friendly and put me at ease.

Getting laser eye surgery has been one of the best decisions that I have taken, it has really transformed my life. I am so pleased that I chose Focus Clinics for the procedure, they provided friendly and professional support throughout and after my treatment.

Roughly 5 months post surgery and I couldn't be happier! Still using eye drops regularly. My hayfever has come back slightly worse than before but that's to be expected due to my eyes still being sensitive but the ketofall eye drops are working wonders!

Two years post op and perfect vision! No more contact lenses and glasses!

It’s been nearly four years since I had surgery at Focus. Everything went really well and my eyesight is still excellent. Been going to Specsavers for regular eye tests and can still read the smallest line on the chart. No problems whatsoever with my eyes or vision. Having this done has been great for my quality of life. Very impressed with Focus and David Allamby and would happily recommend them if someone is interested in laser eye surgery.

1.3 years on, still happy! Thank you for the brilliant service, made such a difference to my life :)
