Poor food quality got my order wrong…
Poor food quality got my order wrong and I complained via email and there response was shocking! Avoid and eat at Burger King or McDonald which are both cheaper and have better customer service
The staff are always friendly
The staff are always friendly, the food is very flavourful and good size portions, the Dundee store is a regular with me and my boy. We love the cheese burgers.

There’s a saying that you can tell the overall standards and cleanliness of a food place based on the state of the customer toilets. After eating here once, never again…..
Used the toilets at the end of my visit, but boy I wish I’d gone before ordering. Wowee!! Some of the filthiest, smelliest toilets I’ve ever had the displeasure of using
And that standard of cleanliness seems to be rampant throughout the whole place. Dirty, sticky tables. The floors throughout looked and felt like they were never cleaned, let alone deep cleaned….
It begs the question if there’s much of a cleaning protocol in this branch. And if that’s the front of house and the customer toilet situation. What’s the overall cleanliness of staff hands, food hygiene standards behind the scenes, and whilst handling food and orders
I don’t understand how management could ever let a place get this noticeably dirty, and have that little pride in themselves that they would let this pass
Sitting eating and looking around closely it has a grimy, grubby, couldn’t care less look and feel to the entire place. Serving food in that environment- yeah absolutely disgusting
The staff also seemed to spend a lot of time shouting and carrying on with each other. Not quite sure when a workplace became the school playground. Maybe less carry on and more cleaning would be a better put together staff
On a side note…. Visited the St James Quarter branch. Night and day…. Clean, tidy, organised. There are no toilets within that branch, but the cleanliness of the floors, tables, and overall told me what I needed to know. The burger and fries I ordered were the exact same, with same toppings too. Funny how the St James one was much more generous with the toppings so overall the burger was far more satisfying. Also was served about double the amount of fries. And for a final flourish…. The staff were moving like a well oiled machine, I listened to polite positive interaction with customers. And a staff who were quietly talking to each other whilst working hard
Five Guys dont really care despite being happy to charge a LOT for a different burger experience
Five Guys choose Deliveroo to partner with. They allow them to represent them to consumers and then dont care how a customer is treated.
My order came tonight (Friday - we were all excited) but the order comes with just burgers and no fries. That was after 40 minutes of waiting for the whole family. No chance of getting any fries after that to eat with the burgers as the Deliveroo guy just did not care. So disappointing.
The Driver blames 5 Guys - which is probably correct as they handed him the order. Deliveroo does not care - you can order the fries seperately they say. Maybe you get them in another 40 minutes.
This is the best bit - you take the time to give feedback to Five Guys in an e-mail - who sell themselves as above the rest with a great product - what do they say?!?
As soon as you say its about a Deliveroo Delivery - they basically wash their hands of it. They send an e-mail message to tell you they will not be in contact as its not a Five Guys issue but "thanks for the feedback".
Thats rubbish. They don't really care.

Mantis at the Peterborough branch in the town centre was wonderful, the food is always good, but he made it better with his fantastic customer service! Will definitely be back, thank you Mantis and team :)
I went to five guys today in Stratford…
I went to five guys today in Stratford Westfield and purchased a burger and chips, mid way through my meal I found a hair in the burger, I then proceeded to go to the counter notifying them about the hair. Instead of refunding the whole meal I only got the burger refunded and there was no sorry here's a coupon or drink on the house for the inconvenience. Quite upset about this and definitely turned my stomach. Should of been dealt with better.

Very, very expensive and not a particularly nice burger. I had the smallest burger, chips and drink and it came to over £20. I waited ages for it to be made even though they weren’t busy and when it arrived the bacon was cremated and inedible.

Easily the best burgers around
I don’t usually bother leaving reviews for fast food places, but Five Guys really is a cut above. The burgers taste freshly made every time — you can actually tell the difference compared to the usual chains. Loads of topping choices, perfectly cooked chips, and everything feels properly done rather than thrown together.
Staff are always upbeat and friendly, the place is spotless, and you never wait long even when it’s busy. Yes, it’s a bit pricier than some, but you can taste where the extra few quid goes.
If you want a burger that actually fills you up and tastes amazing, Five Guys is the one. I’d happily go out of my way for it.

5 guys / user eats what a load of rubbish ,did not get notified that the order or payment had been placed or taken, so I placed the order again, and still nothing ,so I rang 5 guys ,but couldn't help, tyred to contact user, thanks for your message, we will respond within 12 hours .then recieved two orders costing over 30 quid , and then wasn't fit for eating or feeding to animals 🤔
Way overpriced. Bottles of juice are available at the counter but not on the screen where you order
I ordered my meal on the screen in the shop. For drinks my options were very very limited I checked it a few times to be sure. Water milkshake or refillable fizzy drink which cost -£4.30!! I took that option thinking how expensive it was. It wasn’t until my receipt wouldn’t come out and I went to the counter that I saw bottles of irn bru and Coca Cola for £2.35. I pointed out to the member of staff that this was not given as an option on the screen and that I wasn’t happy about that or the price of the cup of fizzy drink. Being refillable doesn’t make this any better. There should be a cheaper option for non refillable. There’s only so much fizzy drink a person can have. I found the food to be good but overpriced in general and the drink set up is not good. I paid over £17 for a small burger small chips and a drink. Never again !!
Deeply disappointed by how my son was treated at Five Guys

My son worked at this Chester City Centre branch of Five Guys, and what he went through was shocking. From his first day, he was made to feel uncomfortable and anxious by an assistant manager’s behaviour (Alyssia) Despite raising his concerns through the proper channels and speaking with another senior member of staff (Josh), the company completely failed to take his complaint seriously.
HR were contacted, but their response showed zero empathy or accountability. They hid behind technicalities rather than investigating clear allegations of bullying and unfair treatment. Since then, we’ve heard from others who’ve had similar experiences at the same branch — yet Five Guys have done nothing to address it.
As a parent, I’m heartbroken and angry. No young person should be treated this way in their first job. Five Guys need to take a long, hard look at how they manage and support their staff. This experience has left my son disillusioned and anxious, and it has completely destroyed our trust in the company.
I sincerely hope Five Guys start valuing their employees’ wellbeing instead of brushing complaints under the rug.
Delivery Fail
Ordered 2 x cheeseburgers, with fries, for my birthday. Delivery only had one burger in it which we had to share. Really disappointing. And it was barely warm.

Not the same as it once was :(
My family and I use to love Five Guys but after our recent experience we won't be back. I will no longer recommend it to friends and family.
Customer Service has also gone down hill just like the quality of their products.
I reached out to Customer Services after a poor experience. The buns were not toasted properly, tasted funny and the burgers fell apart.
The fries weren't cooked like they normally are, weren't hot or seasoned. Do not underestimate the need for buns to be toasted properly, it completely changes the texture and flavour of the product.
Customer Services then completely fail to understand the problem I've reported:
"To confirm, we do not toast our buns with a toasted or to be golden brown. The bun is toasted on our dedicated bread grill for a few seconds, until the bread has a rough sandpaper texture in the exterior. The bread may still be white when you receive the burger, and we do not toast the outside of the bun, so it is still expected to be fluffy.
The fries have alsso been cooked to ostandard. We are currently using a different type of potato which makes the fries look brighter in colour, so the light colouring is not an indication that they are undercooked. The fries are not made to be crispy as a standard.
From the photos you submitted, the food was cooked to the expected standard."
I've ate many of your burgers and fries to know what the standard is. The standards are slipping along with the Customer Service!
Five Guys was the odd guilty treat, it was hard to justify the cost but I don't have that problem any more by simply not paying for substandard quality and terrible customer service.

Poor experience won’t return
Attended as a family to Milton Keynes for my daughter’s birthday. Poor service with no initiative or common-sense. Inflexibility approach to customer request for a couple of extra pickles even offered to pay for them as my daughter loves them and it was her special day. No empathy or understanding from main customer services with a don’t care attitude told I would have to buy her an adult burger to get them. I will never return to this chain. Overpriced and better burgers elsewhere with more helpful friendly staff!
