Ordered a rear spring,a week later nothing, rang them we dont have an 85nm in stock, ok what do you have?we have a 100nm,ok please send.The following day it arrived, note on side of parcel said,"we sent a 75nm as no 85nm in stock"!!??Didnt even open it, nearly £10 to return, no acknowedgement or refund,paypal had to step in and pay me.Shocking.Do yourself a a favour and use Mcgill racing,1st class service, cheaper,good range.
29/11 - Ordered set of fork springs
03/12 - Asked for a tracking number - no reply
04/12 - Called and asked for a tracking number. Advised ill get one. Dispatched later that day
05/12 - Springs received. Completely wrong springs, wrong length, diameter etc. Called them and they said to send them back and they will pay return postage. Posted back and emailed them, no response or even acknowledgement.
06/12 - They received the springs according to RM tracking and photo provided
10/12 - Emailed to ask if they have initiated a refund. No response
12/12 - Refund processed. Emailed to ask why they didn't pay the return postage as promised. No response.
16/12 - "Letter before action" sent.
I would avoid this business at all costs, lack of service cost me more and the inconvenience of it all, I should have ordered from Brook Suspension to start with, they are a proper 5* business.
There are some claims in previous reviews that the owner doesn't use computer, but I'm sure they will respond to this review.
Have been meaning to leave this review for a while. Looking at the other bad reviews I feel it's appropriate to add.
I made the mistake of buying the bike online being told its very clean. When it turned up there was bits of damage and marks all over it.
2 days later. Flat battery. Had to argue this to get it replaced under warrenty even though i was told it had a new battery when buying. The state of it this was clearly a lie. I then had the issue of a massive flat spot and misfire. I sent images of the cracking inlets to Firefox to basically be told I'm talking nonsense and this is normal
I took the inlets off with images of the daylight that could get through them. Second hand ones were sent out to me eventually.
Having owned the bike a few months I've learned the sprag clutch is knackered. Something else that made lots of noise when delivered. The wiring had chocolate blocks holding holding it together. There is an oil leak from a bady repaired tank.
Apparently this was one of their personal bikes. Says a lot really.
I recently purchased a second hand electric motorbike from Firefox without seeing it. So I was a bit concerned until it arrived.
I need not have worried. It arrived looking like new with all the correct paperwork.
Very pleased with it so THANKYOU Andy and team.

Let me start and finish on something positive.
My independent BMW service guys said Firefox are the only people who know what they are doing with BMW suspension.
Now something negative. Customer service is not good. The phone is answered less than half the time. There is no sales or order process. New orders aren't acknowledged. Quotes aren't given. Time estimates ditto.
When my shock was sent back it was the wrong one. This was fixed but it's an unnecessary error.
And to finish on a positive. My shock now works beautifully and the bike rides much better.
This company offers the servicing of motorcycle steering dampers along with other work, so I sent mine off for a service along with an order form. Two months have now passed and it took them six weeks (after being messed about on the phone a lot) for them to inform me "we don't have the parts, sorry" so I asked them to return it two weeks ago. They said they would, and they simply haven't bothered, so I am left with no choice but to visit the company in person and demand it back, and I will not be leaving without it. If you are looking for a company that offers good customer service, has the courtesy to get back to you and will actually do the work you want, I strongly advise you look elsewhere.
