Farm Direct is a life-saver in the ever present fast-food and processed food world that exists in our modern supermarkets. Farm Direct is my go-to “supermarket” of healthy and organic veggies and fruit that makes me happy to receive my box every week. I am grateful for all the British farmers that contribute to Farm Direct’s stock!

We’ve been doing our main grocery shop through Farm Direct every week for several years now. We love the wonderful selection of seasonal, farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as the delicious fish, yogurt, and cheeses. Buying food directly from farmers, small scale producers, and local fisheries helps create a more sustainable food supply. It also feels great to know where our food is coming from and to feel connected to the seasons. Since shopping with Farm Direct, my cooking has become more creative, and it’s been a lot of fun to learn more about traditional English foods (I’m originally from California!).

Farm Direct provide really high quality organic and/or chemical free produce. We’ve found their organic boxes very helpful in transitioning to more seasonal, locally grown food. Their staff are responsive and considerate. Highly recommend!

Received my first order on Sat and can't recommend enough. Great selection, good comms (emails and updates on timing etc), very friendly Farm Direct delivery person and really happy with the produce! <3

Great service

One of the best places to get farm grown food in London. The delivery drivers are always super friendly and the quality of the produce is top notch.

The apricots at over £8/kg arived all wrotten,
the Iceberg 2 letuces 5cm round looked as compressed cabage taken out from garbage
The yelolow runer beans soggy and expired, impossible to use,
the yellow curgettes dry, and expired
the cabage small and wilted
the marrow damaged
chicken livers as a liquid paste
no ice with the fresh perishable products as fish and meat, in breach of health and safety regulation
As the description is "Farm Direct" and Organic, I doubt the accuraccy of both.

I've been a customer for quite some time although I don't shop weekly, but my recent experience has been deeply disappointing. In my latest order, I was overcharged for the weight of an item. I’ve emailed the company three times since 27th July and have yet to receive any response.
This isn’t the first time this has happened—on a previous occasion, I noticed a similar overcharge but chose not to raise it, assuming it was a one-off mistake. Now, I’m beginning to question whether these are isolated incidents at all.
I expected better customer service and accountability from a company I used to trust.

I love how farm direct makes eating seasonally, ethically and organically easy. I wanted to make a lifestyle change and support British farming, with farm direct I can do that in a convenient and reasonably priced manner. As a bonus all the fresh produce I’m gotten from them has tasted amazing and I feel much more in tune with nature and the seasons. Forget supermarkets, this is the way forward!

I ordered some expensive blackberries and for the third time (out of 3) they arrived already gone bad and with mould.

I sent an email requesting a refund and asking again why selling them and so expensive if they are inedible but got ignored.

If you're not buying your food from farm-direct, you're probably spending more on supplements, medicine and gym membership than you have to. Eating organic, farm-to-fork, nose-to-tail whole foods, including making your own bone broths, occasionally having liver/kidney etc, is the healthiest decision we ever made. Highly recommended!
