I had my first order with this company and was mighty impressed. I ordered a large quantity of Suma tins that are difficult for me to purchase. Much cheaper than purchasing from other online retailers. They were all available and with bb dates of September 2028 but mostly December 2028 so plenty of time to use. I chose an 8am to 2.30pm timeslot and was
updated on the day when the delivery would take place and it was just 10 mins earlier which was fine. The delivery man Farah 004 was most pleasant and he took the box of tins in for me and unpacked them which was very helpful. Extremely happy with the service and so pleased I now have a lot of my favourite tins. Wouldn't hesitate to order again if the need arises for anything in future.

We love receiving our weekly Farm Direct box. There's nothing like freshly picked, seasonal fruits and vegetables arriving at your door. I would highly recommend.

I have ordered fruit & veg box twice along with some fish ( frozen octopus and smoked trout). Such an excellent quality and value. I highly recommend.

Hands down the best food in town!

Honestly, I've been shopping from them since 2020 and the food quality and freshness is unbeatable. They do a great job selecting local farmers and producers, from and close to London. You get to choose from a great variety of meat, cheese and fish - and of course the veg and fruit boxes that are strictly in-season products (organic and pesticide free).

Shout out to Rob for his insightful weekly updates, one of the few mailing list worth reading.

Farm direct is delivering fresh, great produce to your door to a very good quality and price, they are working with local farmers. It’s been an absolute pleasure to order from this company. I recommended 100% to get quality produce and British farmers.

Prices are not much higher than supermarkets overall but the quality has stellar difference.

great products and service as ever. Jerusalem Artichokes delicious in soup, and Beetroots great saddleback roasted. Vegetables with so much more flavour than from supermarket

Been ordering from Farm Direct for a long time, but their delivery service is awful. Wrong substitutes are sent without asking, orders are often incomplete, and vegetables sometimes arrive almost rotten. I waste time emailing for refunds, and collection times are ignored—my whole family was woken up with a sudden doorbell at 8am on a Saturday to deal with their mistakes and rush down to return wrong items, despite me clearly requesting 10am. Completely unreliable—I won’t be using them anymore and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Great place to buy from farm to fork ingredients. Easy to navigate. All good experience

Fabulous quality, great prices, just a really great company. Ditch the supermarket rubbish and buy direct from these guys!

I love Farm Direct. They have an excellent selection, and it's good to know I am supporting local farmers more directly. Sometimes there are issues with items, but this tends to be dealt with swiftly.

The delivery team is excellent. The variety and quality of the fruit, veg and meat is very good. I'm not always happy with the changes and alternative produce given if something is not in Stock.

Everything in the box was of good quality and packed well however we wish we had ticked no substitutes for some items. We would definitely order again however we would have loved to have paid for our order in cash and Robert the owner was open to this. Thank you for a good box.

Always a good service and very tasty fresh produce

I truly love the produce and service that Robert and his team provide. The quality is excellent in most cases, especially the chanterelles during their season, and Robert himself is always kind, responsive, and helpful.

Unfortunately, the website and app feel quite outdated and don’t work as smoothly as they should. I recently tried to cancel an order within the time limit, but it wasn’t possible. I’m confident they’ll refund me if I decline it on arrival (so, to anyone ordering: don’t worry - they’re genuine and fair), but not being able to cancel on time does create unnecessary waste, which I know they’d also prefer to avoid.

I’ve already shared this feedback with them - that the site could be more intuitive and visually appealing. Initially, I was also receiving a few unwanted replacements, but after I explained how giving customers the option to decline replacements during checkout would help reduce waste, they listened and made changes, which I really appreciate.

So, lots of love from me to Farmdirect. I admire the enthusiasm and care they put into their work; it’s clear this is a labour of love rather than a high-profit venture. With a few improvements to the website and user experience, and perhaps by offering more biodynamic and organic produce, I’m sure both customers and the team will be even happier, and the business will thrive further.
