Delighted with the service received…

Delighted with the service received from engineer Dobrin who visited to repair and service our lovely Halo 500 fire. He was patient in explaining the issue , how it had been resolved and signposting how to get the most out of this investment purchase. We had cause to get in touch with Chris in the office , who again provided excellent customer care. Very happy customer. Thank you.

App Keeps Disconnecting

The fire looks great and has lots of options that can be easily controlled by the App....... BUT.......
every time I go to the App it has lost the connection to the fire, so, power up the fire manually and relaunch the App. Works fine.
Next day, App has lost the connection and so on and so on.
If you sell a product that can be controlled by an App, make sure the App is robust!

App doesnt work and company doesnt respond

The fire itself looks great.

Unfortunately, the app is utterly useless (just look on Google Play store). It doesnt connect and even if it does, the connection drops out and despite trying to reach out to the developer and Evoniq for over 2 years, they simply do not respond.

Truly horrendous and not befitting of a 'premium fire' and price.

We had a heat issues on our evonic fire…

We had a heat issues on our evonic fire and a service call was booked for today. Tom the service/repair engineer arrived at the agreed time.
He was very polite and worked methodically throughout the repair.
Tom also helped set up the app on my phone.
I found Tom to be an excellent engineer, he is a credit to evonic fires.

I recently ordered a fire

We have a fire that was installed in November 2025. Chris at Evonic provided excellent support during the setup, patiently guiding me through the app controls over the phone. We’re extremely happy with the fire. Couldn't recommend you guys enough

I had an issue with my remote control

I had an issue with my remote control, and Chris got it working within ten minutes, and also got me connected to an app, I never realized my fire had. Massive thanks to Chris and the speedy response.

Hi All
Had a problem with my Evonicfire which we have had for 3.75 years. We changed WiFi router from BT to SKY the fire app went down. We contacted Chris at evonfires and he was brilliant. He talked me through setting the app again and got it working.

Very disappointed

I bought the e-lectra Camden fire, it worked for a couple of weeks, then an engineer came out after a week of waiting to repair it, he said the board was faulty, he changed it and was fine for four weeks and now it's completely dead, they are over priced rubbish and I have asked for a refund, but still waiting.

I have now had a refund from the shop I bought it from.

terrible customer care.

Bought a fire a year ago but not used it more than 5 times, broke down before christmas Feb was first call out time. Spoke to Chris on customer services who put the phone down on first call, had zero interest in his job.
emailed before christmas but just did not reply. I would not use this company again.

Evonic Colorado electric fire - poor reliability

Bought an Evonic Colorado. Now just under one year old. First one failed after 3 hours use. Replced with a brand new one. This worked during the winter though we don't use it very often. On first switch when colder evenings started it failed again with exactly the same fault as before. No happy with the after sales service either as have had to wait 3 weeks for an engineer to come out to try to fix it. That is scheduled for tomorrow. May review again soon!

So far after the repair things seem ok but we have been asking for a renewed 12 months guarantee in view of the problems we have suffered but we have received no response. Please could you confirm through another response that you will be willing to do this and put this in place?

I wish I could award zero stars

I wish I could award zero stars. I bought an evonic fire 2 years ago and it was rarely used however, I turned it on as the night got colder and it was dead. I called the fireplace shop in Poundbury where I bought it and they were no help. I took the fire to a local electrical firm who advised the circuit panel had melted. Therefore the fire was faulty when it was sold to me. The electrical company tried several times to get a replacement from Evonic who refused to cooperate, even though there is a 5 year warranty for parts. They want to fix it themselves and charge me £180 for the privilege.

No engineer as I live ‘too far away’

Brand new very expensive fire, went wrong within days. Customer service tells me I have to wait 4 weeks, that’s 4 weeks in the winter cold, before an engineer can visit because I live ‘too far away’.? Beware if you buy a fire, if it’s cold and you don’t live near them then you get punished.
