Only started this gym and honestly really enjoying it. The atmosphere is great, the equipment is always in good condition, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s clean, and has a good vibe.

After the climbing facility closes down, the center might as well shut down (or at least change the name, as they no longer deserve it).

The center is dirty and smelly, cafe is full to brims with ultra processed foods (makes you gag as soon as you enter), parking is always an issue.

Everyone Active is only interested in making money.

Parking fine for using cinema, bowling and TGI Fridays. Regular customers and apparently the change happened a few months ago. 5 hour! Never coming back again.

The refurbished gym is great but there are no changing rooms or toilets for use by just gym members which is something I would want with a gym membership. The nearest ones to the gym that were allocated for members are used by everyone and their kids. They’re mostly left in a terrible state with rubbish and used nappies left lying around. Last week someone’s kid poo’d in one of the showers and left it there! It’s seems like a massive oversight that members don’t have a separate place to change and shower that’s part of the gym.

The newly upgraded gym at K2 is fantastic, modern, well-equipped, and a pleasure to use. However, it is disappointing that during the refurbishment, Everyone Active did not include a members-only changing facilities.
Currently, the changing rooms are open to the general public, including non-members. This has led to frequent issue such as families using the showers to bathe their children. Nappies are regularly left on the floor and in the showers and young children run around unsupervised. These conditions are not suitable for what should be an adult only environment.
Just last week, a child defecated in the showers, and the mess was left for staff to clean up. Incidents like this spoil what would otherwise be an excellent gym experience.
It’s unfortunate that Everyone Active overlooked the importance of dedicated changing areas for gym members. As much as I appreciate the upgraded facilities, the lack of appropriate changing rooms has made me consider whether to renew my membership.

After being a member of K2 for over 10 years, I'm angry that the new process of scanning to gain access to the centre is not meeting my expectations as it has declined my entry via my phone for some reason. Having spoken to many members of staff about it no one is able to sort the problem out. Even by emailing everyone active directly to try and resolve the problem. Sort it out Everyone Active or you will lose memberships.

I don’t understand why they can’t just sort the swimming time table out. They even let you pay and go through to be told it’s lessons and you can’t go in once ready and at the pool side. The worst part is that they only seem to employ children who know absolutely nothing, so trying to get a straight answer on anything is next to impossible. A joke of a centre.

I paid for my daughter (13 years old) to join the gym. I was never told that she would need to attend the gym in company of an adult! I then tried to book adult and child gym session only to find out that it is always fully booked! What have I paid for? A present to k2 Crawley? I paid but can’t get any use? Unbelievable! I will ask for a full refund.

I normally train in the mornings. The gym is never too busy which means I can train what I want to without delay. Everyone is friendly and the gym is clean. It could be improved if they had a punchbag in the gym for boxing workouts. I pay for the year which makes the membership value for money

After a year's absence, I returned to K2 Crawley this weekend, hoping to see some improvements. Sadly, I was met with the same issues that have plagued this leisure centre for years: a distinct lack of maintenance and a general air of uncleanliness.

Upon entering, I was immediately struck by a sign proclaiming their "Customer Charter" and "commitment to you", however the actual page of information was missing. This was followed by a large sign announcing a £2.5 million investment. While I'm glad to hear money is being spent, it's clearly not reaching the areas that need it most.

The corridors reeked of sweaty feet, and the corners of the floors were thick with dust and hair. Walking towards the swimming pool viewing area, I navigated around large plastic wheelie bins strategically placed to catch leaks from the ceiling. Entering the viewing area itself was a grim experience. The floors were coated in a thick layer of dust, littered with discarded paper cups and tissues. Unstuck masking tape, intended to hold the flooring together, had become a significant trip hazard. Grime and dried-in brown liquids stained the floor, and multiple seats were broken.

The communal changing areas were no better. Dirty nappies remained on the floor, and dirt and grit were widespread. There's also still nowhere to rinse your swimming costume. It's truly baffling. Has the entire cleaning team been dismissed? The state of this place is utterly appalling.

While I appreciate the announcement of a solar canopy over the car park – perhaps it will power the cleaning machines this place so desperately needs – it does little to address the fundamental issues of hygiene and maintenance. This leisure centre is in a terrible state of affairs, and it's a real shame for the community. I sincerely hope the promised investment translates into tangible improvements, and soon.

Good center but severely let down by the fact that all places for classes are gone within 5 minutes and you go on a free for all waiting list, not a first on first offer list.

Of course you can pay an extra 10 pound a month and have the privilege of booking on a week before those that can't afford it.

I also see people gate crashing classes as they can't get on the list.

It's a shame, everything is over subscribed. This is evident as well in the gym with over crowding at peak times and very poor gym etiquette with people hogging machines by looking at their phones between sets and worst of all, not wiping the seats when they finish.

I cannot knock the staff, they are qualified and experienced as well as helpful and the cleaning staff do exceptionally well in the time they get to do the job.

I speak as an experienced ops manager. This place needs a serious ops re think.

I know I speak for many many members and I really wish they resolve these elementary and unfair issues, this centre has so much potential.

Pool area filthy. Staff not interested. Parents walk around leaving filth on floor which floats around in the pool. Changing area even worse.
No change after telling management about it previous week. K2 refuse to put out overshoes even though signs ask for them to be worn.
Gym- too many twits sitting around on their phones or filming their work out.
K2 could do better!

K2 is a good sports center,good for parking, great gym classes but from my point of view needs a lots improvement on the cleaning. Also, need hooks on the showers, as it would be very useful.

Generally, K2, is a good leisure centre. It suits my purpose but the whole place needs an uplift. It’s quite dated now and needs a thorough clean.
Some of the windows in the studios need attention. Cold wind blows through them.
The soundproofing between Studio 2 and 3 is not fit for purpose and the loud music is probably a health and safety issue.
The studios aren’t that big that the instructor even needs a mike. Turn it down and be considerate to the adjoining studio class.
The coffee shop is in a very draughty place and more needs to be done to improve the ambience. It can get busy but it is in poor shape with chairs torn. The sweets/biscuits should not be at the check out and healthier food should be an option.

K2 Crawley - Gym
I've been using this gym, 3 times a week for the past 8+ years and have endured 3 increases in my subs since Everyone Active took over; a 20% increase having recently been imposed...
Since EA took over, after an initial flurry of new equipment, the general condition and serviceability of it has declined... out of about 10 treadmills only one now has wifi after an upgrade, but in general they all pre-date my joining and have all lost TV & internet functionality... that's if they're not completely out of action as they frequently are and remain so for long periods...
As for the other equipment, if not totally u/s, many have parts missing, eg waterbottle and/or phone caddies...
Many machines are one-offs so during busy periods, if someone is 'working from home' on them, you can kiss goodbye to getting a look-in... just because someone is a member (like we all are) doesn't give them a right to hog equipment which is in heavy demand and there should be a stated time limit of 15 minutes on machines and 30 minutes on treadmills. cross-trainers etc, out of consideration for other users...
Months ago I have twice written to the senior manager of K2 who asked me to 'leave it with him' - and once written to the CEO of EA (who never even acknowledged, let alone replied to my email) and there has been no discernible improvement since...
As others have stated, other options are available, so I'm now actively (no pun intended) reviewing the many alternatives which there are here in Crawley - many with much more modern equipment and cheaper subscriptions...

Shame on you!

Being a client since 2022 on regular lessons tried to cancel and it’s like pulling teeth confusing unhelpful and jumping hoops and hoops
Finally resisted that we get a refund for the final lessons as we can’t attend and surprise stating terms and conditions refused. How about some common decency given its child lessons you are taking about and length of time you have been happily receiving our money?

Plenty of equipment in the gym, shame the maintenance lets it down, be nice if the staff actually spoke me, I’ve attended K2 for some 16 years and not once has a staff member asked how my training was going and very very rarely get any kind of acknowledgment.
On the plus side, it's very local for me and generally I can do my thing without waiting for equipment to become available. There is a wide range of machines to keep most people happy.

The environment,car par space,Good hot and cold water runs all the time. Sauna hot temperature all the time, nice Staffs and friendly atmosphere..
