We were offered delivery on Friday 19/12. I phoned and queried whether this would be ok for eating on Christmas Day and was promised categorically that it would be fine. When it arrived it was labelled consume by 22/12. Hardly appropriate for Christmas Day lunch.

Ordered 2 1Kg Venison Loin for a large family christmas eve meal of venison Wellington. The meat was superb - good flavor and succulent. The meat arrived when scheduled - excelent service, Thank you.

Found the cost vs expectations was not expected flavours and quality lacking in my view

This was our first time ordering from this company and also our first time ordering a whole turkey rolled and boned. The turkey was delicious. We froze it on arrival and defrosted on Xmas Eve. It was moist and tasty and had the big advantage of feeding a lot of people without taking up much oven space. One improvement would be to have a recipe for how to cook it on your website - I did find instructions online but a lot of them were for stuffed joints rather than this one which was unstuffed with bacon wrapping. Would order again but PLEASE don't email me every other day for the next year! This is a once a year treat. Thank you.

We never received our Christmas Turkey box and the customer service lines didn’t answer or reply to our emails.

We ordered our Christmas dinner from this website and haven't received the order! We called them to enquire what happened and they showed us proof of delivery in our "safe place" = the parcel left on the street!! This is South London, nothing is safe on the street! The person on the phone just said it is delivered and there's nothing she can do, and we need to contact the courier! This is your responsibility!!

My first order from Eversfield and I looked forward to it in anticipation. First up we cooked the rolled lamb joint which was very tasty but a little on the disappointing side for the money, quite a lot of fat and gristle but we enjoyed what we had and are grateful in the knowledge that these animals have had a good life compared to most. Second up were the chipolatas which were somewhat disappointing in flavour so quite a few were discarded unfortunately. Third up were the traditional sausages and we lived in hope these would live up to our expectations, but alas they were inedible - dry, tasteless with an almost "gone off" twang. The diced chicken tasted okay in a curry and we are still to try the whole chicken and the mince. All in all so far not what we were expecting. Originally we were recommended to this company by Sheepdrove of Lambourn because they said they were full up with orders so I don't really know what is going on here.... Disappointing so far for the money to be honest

I recommend this farm shop. I bought beef bones, lamb bones and lamb meat. They were well-packed, and the delivery arrived on the day they promised. The bones weren't clean, so we'll. Even the spine was removed. They were cut into manageable sizes. I am very impressed. I was cooking the bones for broth, and it didn't smell as much as I was expecting. I had been purchasing from a well-known organic shop and buying bones and beef they which always smelled. This change was perfect. I will continue buying from them.

First order very good, second order could delivery for 5 weeks, I had some unsatisfactory excuse, pork chops, rack of lamb, and chicken legs are for Christmas so could delivery till then.

Second order, and worthy of five stars. The courier managed to deliver on time and the packaging/insulation was much better than before. The goods were still well chilled despite travelling to Scotland. The meat is good quality and for a decent price. Also plenty of time left on the use-by so all boxes ticked for me.

I was so disappointed with my first order. I ordered venison mince but what I received tasted very strongly of lamb and was completely inedible — I had to throw it away, it was absolutely disgusting.

When I contacted customer service, I explained to Fran what had happened. However, I was repeatedly told that without photos of the raw product they would not investigate or provide a refund/replacement. As the mince was placed straight into the slow cooker, I had no reason to think I would need to photograph raw meat beforehand.

Instead, I was only offered a 10% discount on a future order, which doesn’t come close to replacing the cost of food I couldn’t eat. For a company selling premium produce, I expected a better level of service and accountability.

Sadly, as a first-time customer, this experience has put me off ordering again. Potential customers should be aware that if anything goes wrong with their order, the company may refuse to help unless you provide photographic evidence before cooking. I then had to go out of my way to buy actual venison mince from the Supermarket which was a long way to go as it’s not the easiest thing to get your hands on in the supermarket, and management didn’t even acknowledge or seem to care.

Personally, I’d avoid at all costs. The lack of customer care is shocking!

FYI **update to review** I’ve been advised that any dispute should be reported within 48 hours, which I did report at 15.27 by email on 28/09/25 and delivery was delivered by DPD at 12:04 on 27/09/25** so not only am I being made out to have not followed correct process when I did, you are basically overall making me out to be a liar. The cheek and lack of professionalism is unbelievable!

I’ve been a customer of your company for several months and have always appreciated the quality of your products and the reliable delivery service. However, I’ve found your customer communication to be lacking.

Recently, I received pork sausages instead of the beef ones I ordered. Mistakes can happen, and I only wanted a simple acknowledgment of the error. Unfortunately, despite sending two emails, I haven’t received any response.

I find this disappointing, as good communication with customers is just as important as the products themselves. It’s what helps build trust and loyalty. I hope you can improve in this area, as clear and timely communication will only strengthen your reputation and customer relationships.

I place regular orders with Eversfield Organic as the produce is of high quality at extremely competitive prices.

This time round my order was to be delivered by Royal Mail Parcel Force on a Friday. They failed to do so and sent an email saying they attempted delivery but couldn't deliver as no one was in.I was in all day ,plus have 24/7 conceigre ,so a complete fabrication. Next delivery was to be the following Monday which was naturally not acceptable for a meat order .

Just before 5 pm I got hold of the very helpful and efficient Fran from Eversfield's customer service who said she would chase up Parcelforce .They then promised her they would deliver before 7pm .When this did not happen Fran without further ado organised a completely fresh order to be delivered by DPD .

This is what I call "old school "customer service. When you call ,a human being answers straight away and then sorts out your issue in a friendly, and effective way.

Well done Eversfield for your quality produce, super competitive prices and the wonderful customer service.I remain a very happy repeat customer and highly recommend your company.

I ordered from Eversfield some years ago, but in January 2024, I decided to switch permanently to Organic meat. Their produce has been consistently excellent, their meat is always tender, including the chicken and turkey breast, and great value. Look out for the special offers! I’m looking forward to my next delivery.

The animal welfare and feed is well described e.g. roaming free and grass fed is well beyond grain fed. The meat freezes well and it is affordable to buy the maximum for free delivery. You just need to be careful to read whether it’s been previously frozen, which is understandable for meat such as venison or turkey, good to use within a few days of delivery.

Fantastic customer service which is highly important and the backbone of any worthy business. I have only ever had 3 issues, but dealt with swiftly and promptly, with just a little explaining on my part. 

The DPD deliveries are always informative and I just make sure I diary the day I have requested the delivery and look out for it. If you live in a remote area, try What3Words.
