Poor Service - Struggle to get Refund
Hi,
I am not very happy with the service received from your Milton Keynes branch on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th of Jan-25.
I bought my wife a second-hand car from this branch in Nov-24. I then decided to take it in for a full service yesterday.
I can’t really complaint about the service, apart from not doing everything I’ve originally requested, and I also had to pay for my own taxi to and from – no longer drop off service offered (a bit of a surprise).
When I collected my vehicle that evening, I paid for the service via my debit card. The service advisor - JC informed me that there was an error with my card payment, even though it showed that it went off my bank account.
I was happy to pay the £405 again, and the Senior Service Advisor - MS informed me that only one payment will go off. However, this wasn’t the case.
I’ve emailed the Senior Service Advisor with proof of double payment and requested a quote for additional work. However, still waiting for a reply.
I then went into Evans Halshaw Milton Keynes this morning to resolve the issues face to face.
However, I felt like I was totally ignored and my fault for the double payment.
Evans Halshaw took double payment from me, and now I am struggling to get refunded for their mistake.
Due to personal circumstances, I need my money back asap, but they just ignoring me.

Ask for Nathan
If you need to buy a car in M.K., ask for Nathan at Evans Halshaw! All the care you could ever hope for to find your perfect car: patience, manners, knowledge and genuine consideration. Nathan made sure that I found my perfect car, answered every question with respect (I didn't know how to turn on a car with a button!!), didn't push products beyond explaining them so I could choose, worked beyond opening hours, helped when my insurance company were tricky, reversed test drive cars for easy driving, politely updated me throughout and retrieved a tiny sentimental item from my last car, etc. I love my new car and highly recommend Nathan's care! It is a strong team and I literally can only praise them. Thank you.
