Citroen Darlington staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful, particularly the reception staff who are great. The day following a service I thought there was an issue with my van and a mechanic was sent straight out. Turned out all was ok, but his prompt attendance was very reassuring.

I have dealt with Evans Halshaw previously in the past however when dealing with Nathan I found the process very easy, he was very easy going, easy to talk to and made buying a car a joy. Running into a little hiccup regarding the car Nathan was always on hand to contact for updates and he did not disappoint with the sale of the car. Thank you for your help buying my car, much appreciated! :)

Having been told by Kwikfit, North Road Darlington that the bearings on my steering wheel were worn and subsequently having them fail my MoT because of that I asked Evans Halshaw Darlington to inspect the car. They identified the correct error which had nothing to do with what Kwikfit had told me and saved me hundreds of pounds by fixing the fault quickly and without fuss, even washed the car for me… fantastic service fro start to finish!!

Kim Khan Couldn’t be more helpful in arranging the purchase of our new car, The whole team were great with sourcing the car from another Evans Halshaw site, preparing it, they efficiently organised all the paperwork, and a great handover late to assist with our work finishing times, all overseen by Kris Hood the general manager.

Bought a Nissan Qashqai at the Darlington dealership today. Nice vehicle, decent deal on my car. Hence three stars. Terrible sales experience. In fact I’d go as far to say, it was the worst I’ve ever had when buying a car. A big fat zero for that. Shame because all the basics were there, product, part x, etc. After I’d viewed the car and paid the deposit mistakes started to happen. Too many to list. The nail in the coffin was the valet of the vehicle on day of collection. It didn’t look like it had been done. I understand we all make mistakes in business, it’s what we do to put things right that matters. That said, the manager offered me a free valet in my local area and to send him the bill, which I will use. (Max spend £40)🙄

I had a new part fitted. The service was excellent and extremely helpful as always. First class!

I called Evans Halshaw Darlington Citroen after my car had broken down, I spoke to Sarah-Jane whom was very helpful & arranged to fit my car in the following week. A health check was carried out & I was sent a video which I found very interesting to watch. I was then called by Stephanie to explain why the engine fault light was showing & what needed to be carried out. I was given regular updates from Stephanie whilst my car was at Evans Halshaw. Excellent, professional friendly service throughout. Highly recommend this garage.

Lovely experience, very helpful and professional team, especially the young lady who dealt with me, steph, did everything possible to ensure my needs were met, one of the sales team even loaned me his company car as l wasn't comfortable driving the courtesy car provided, would definitely recommend!

Ive been with evans for a long time and i always get greeting up by phone or face to face kind and polite very helpfull .....but it would be nice if next time i can have a tiny bigger car ( courtesy car) the c3 is to small for me bang my head to get in or get out (haha)

Daughter had appointment to visit car on the only day off she had.
Wife and I arrived having driven 80 miles to be told car was sold the previous day.
No phone call, no email or any no contact to tell us that the car was sold. Wasted journey and no apology on arrival.

I had my car serviced last week. Was done within the two hour timeslot and the staff were very pleasant. Also was pleased the way Covid precautions were taken.

I found the staff very helpful, and it felt safe to use, I was kept informed of the progress of my service.
I m disappointed that my local evan halshaw Citroen in Stockton has now closed, giving me a longer journey time for the service. The only criticism is that of parking, there outlet is almost fully occupied with cars and it is difficult to find a dedicated space for cars requiring a service.
