From start to finish the service has been excellent. Lewis and Alan are a credit to your Dealership, there was no pushy sales and all the add on purchases were explained in great detail in fact we purchased them all. I highly recommend this Dealership to anyone who is looking for another vehicle.

Simple recall repair NY5 & the van was working perfectly fine when dropped off & had only had it's MOT & mini service 3 days before, when collected dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with engine lights warnings & they wanted to charge me £159 to do the diagnostic testing for problems which have occurred while in their care. Absolute joke, & when asked to speak to the manager he wouldn't come out of the back but sent the young lad back out again to face us. Customer service non existing, not bothered that a free recall could potentially cost us £100s ..... Merry Christmas NOT!!

I booked my Berlingo in after getting a recall letter, when I arrived at the time agreed the service staff had no record of my booking, they did however take it in and told me to expect it back later that day (Thursday), On checking later in the day I was told half of the job had been done and I could collect it the next day, the following day came (Friday) still not complete, hopefully Monday or Tuesday due to a computer fault, on ringing Tuesday evening it was still not ready, the lady from the service dept rang very apologetic to say it would be ready on Wednesday, because of the trouble it would be returned fully valeted, I finally collected the car today (Friday) and guess what, no valet. The car had been in over a week for a routine recall, whilst I have no issues with the service desk staff, they did their best and were very pleasant throughout but it gives me no confidence in Evans Halshaw for future use

Very professional, seamless process

Have already left a review about the shocking customer service from this dealership, but this proves it was a genuine review and incident regarding the atrocious service received with no one taking ownership of the issue and me having to chase any information or even get the repair made even though it was within the cars warranty period.
I don't think anything I suggest would improve the dealership as they seem apathetic to any customer needs.

Bought a car from here in July. Engine seized in September, car taken back to dealership and now nearly 2 months later I'm still waiting for car to be returned to me. No communication from dealership, I have to chase any information, had to fight to get a courtesy car which I got nearly a month after taking car back. No one takes ownership of issue. No response to online complaints form submitted.
I would avoid using this company if possible. Cars are cheap for a reason.

Good service overall

I purchased a VW Golf GT white color from Evans Halshaw Nottingham on 14th October 2025 and was shocked to discover hidden cracks in both the front windscreen and on the top of the car adjacent to the windscreen immediately after purchase. The windscreen had resin applied to disguise the damage, yet the dealer refused to take responsibility, suggesting I use my own insurance. Their “goodwill” offer of £75 against a £1,020 Volkswagen repair quote was unacceptable.

Customer service was dismissive and rude, with the sales manager insisting it was “not their job” to point out faults. This level of dishonesty and poor after‑sales support is appalling from a reputed dealer.

Only after escalating through Consumer Rights and Motonova Finance did they agree to take the car back and returned on 30/10/2025. Without external intervention, I doubt they would have acted fairly. Buyers should exercise extreme caution — my experience shows Evans Halshaw Nottingham cannot be trusted to deliver honesty or quality.

I bought a car from there Mansfield branch and got it delivered to Wakefield on the 6th Oct. having paid the extra for delivery, there was a fault with the stop start system, after complaining the dealership seemed to ignore me for a few days, now i have a service date of the 18th Nov. This is not the kind of service i would expect from a company like this. very very disappointing. i would certainly think twice about purchasing a car from them without a full inspection first.

Was annoyed with Citroen themselves for sending out letters before they had replacement airbags.
However, Evans Halshaw Mansfield were efficient and very speedy once I was given an appointment. The car was ready within the hour!

Friendly helpful staff. Booking postponed due to not having the parts (which was probably out of there control for the Airbag recall). Appointment went smoothly on the day when done.

I bought a Citroen c5x from here 5 weeks ago I was told there was a full service history with the car but I didn’t get any service records with the car. Also there was no rear parcel shelf. The salesman said he would sort this out he did nothing,so I tried to sort it myself but the firm they bought the car from(enterprise)said they could only confirm to me that evanshalshaw bought the car from them with 40340 miles onthe clock but if they got I touch with them they could supply EV WITHTHEHISTORY and inturn EV could email it to me. So I then spoke to 2xbuisness managers also and the salesman again. It feels like I am being ignored hoping that I will forget this and go away I can assure you that I won’t. I have got all the E mails that I have sent and got a reply to I’m sure they are trying to get out of replacing the parcel shelf and can't be bothered to get the service history for me
