I am extremely disappointed with both…

I am extremely disappointed with both the condition of the parcel I received and the response I have received from your team regarding this matter.

I purchased products from Elite Supplements in good faith, expecting them to arrive in the condition advertised and fit for use. Instead, I received a damaged parcel. What is even more frustrating is that I am now being told that this is somehow my responsibility because I did not purchase “Easy Protection” at checkout.

I find this position completely unacceptable.

As the retailer, Elite Supplements accepted my payment and entered into a contract to supply goods in satisfactory condition. Whether the damage occurred during packing, handling, dispatch, or delivery by Australia Post is not something that should become the consumer’s problem to investigate. I did not contract Australia Post directly, Elite Supplements did.

It is unreasonable to expect customers to spend their time chasing delivery companies, gathering evidence, or determining where the fault occurred. That responsibility sits between Elite Supplements and its chosen delivery provider.

The suggestion that I should have purchased additional protection to receive basic customer support when a parcel arrives damaged is particularly disappointing. Customers should not be required to pay extra simply to ensure they receive goods in acceptable condition.

I have spent enough time dealing with this issue already and do not intend to waste any further time being passed between parties or debating who is responsible. I am seeking an immediate resolution in the form of either:

A replacement of the damaged product(s), expressed posted in good condition or
A full refund for the affected item.

I expect Elite Supplements to take ownership of this matter and resolve it promptly. If a satisfactory resolution is not provided, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter through the appropriate consumer protection channels.
I would appreciate a response and resolution as soon as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We're genuinely sorry to hear about the condition your parcel arrived in and understand how frustrating this experience has been.

We appreciate your perspective and understand why you feel disappointed with the situation. Please be assured that we're not trying to shift responsibility or make this process more difficult than it needs to be.

Our Easy Protection option is designed to allow us to immediately resolve issues such as damage, loss, or theft without requiring any investigation. When this protection has not been selected, we are required to follow our carrier claims process before we can authorise a replacement or refund for damage that has occurred during transit.

As the retailer, we do work with our delivery partners to investigate these situations; however, we do require supporting evidence that the damage occurred while the parcel was in the carrier's possession. This is why we have requested documentation from Australia Post confirming the parcel was received damaged or that the damage occurred during transit.

Once we receive this information, we will gladly review your claim and work towards an appropriate resolution as quickly as possible.

We understand this is not the outcome you were hoping for, but we do need to follow the required claims process in circumstances where shipping protection was not selected.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to receiving any supporting documentation from Australia Post so we can continue assisting you.

Below one star

Below one star. They sent me expired goods and then said “it was 70% off” like that makes up for the fact it was expired and the box was ripped open also. It’s not about the price it’s the principle And then lied saying it’s advertised as expired when it’s not and then they are sneaky by putting the expiry on the invoice like they haven’t already been paid. Customer service is feral I wouldn’t and won’t be buying from them again. How scummy to sell expired goods in the first place. And they continue to lie by saying it was advertised as expired it was not.

We'd like to clarify that when we sell products that are past their best before date, they are heavily discounted and clearly advertised as such before purchase. The product listing includes the applicable best before date along with a disclaimer, allowing customers to make an informed decision before placing their order. The same information is also reflected on the invoice for reference.

We appreciate that purchasing products past their best before date isn't for everyone, which is why we make this information available upfront. Customers are under no obligation to purchase these discounted clearance items.

We do apologise if the condition of the outer box did not meet your expectations, as this is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve our service.

Hi Devi,

We're sincerely sorry that your experience with us was so frustrating.

After reviewing your case, we completely understand why you were disappointed. Unfortunately, your replacement order was initially sent with the incorrect postcode despite you providing the correct details, and we apologise for that error. We then worked to find a resolution by offering to resend the order or provide a refund once the issue with Australia Post became clear.

When the replacement was arranged, there was also a mix-up with the flavour supplied. We understand how disappointing that was, especially after everything that had already happened. We offered to replace the flavour and provided a $20 gift voucher as an apology, however by that stage the product had already been opened, which meant we were unable to process an exchange under our returns policy.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. While we regret that your experience did not meet the standard we aim to provide, your comments have been taken on board and will help us improve our processes moving forward.

Didn’t give me samples

Spent extra money to unlock free samples last time, but got given a card that said ‘sorry we are out of free samples here’s 5% off’. Just tried using the discount code and it’s not even applicable due to the current sale. So I missed out free samples and 5% off. Simply false advertising. If free samples are ‘rare’ why even advertise them if you frequently run out? I wouldn’t have felt the need to spend extra money if I knew that beforehand.

We do apologise but samples are very rare to get from suppliers! when we run out we do offer a voucher, although this could not be used during the sale, this can be used on a non sale day.
