Jaz came to service my boiler and to install a thermostat. While he was here he talked me through the room thermostat and made sure I knew how to use it effectively.
He was professional, left the room clean, was considerate, efficient and knowledgable. He arrived when he said he would and was very pleasant.
The whole experience was good, from talking to Dylan, ordering parts and the organising of the visit. All round I am very impressed with Jaz - he is a great ambassador of the company - I wouldn’t hesitate in rating this firm highly! Thank you EBC!

I installed their 12kw EK boiler just over 4 years ago.

The unit is leaking and all rusted. 2 plumbers told me the unit is dying and needs to be replaced.

Not wanting to replace a 4 year old boiler, I call up the manufacturer to send an engineer to fix the leak. They charge £180 inc VAT to come out plus parts. Some £350 later they told me it was all fixed.

The same day it continued leaking. They tried to fob me off that it was some pipe beneath the boiler and unrelated. I sent 2 further expert plumbers (one charged me a call out, the other thankfully did not) who both identified where the leak was and stated that there was still an issue with the boiler and that this company should have fixed it.

I emailed the company and they sent the same engineer out. He now agreed that there was a leak but said it wasn't his fault as it is unrelated to the boiler (even though the leak is FROM the boiler, they said it is for a plumber to fix. £350 was not enough money apparently). He said if "he had his tools with him he would have fixed it". WHAT ENGINEER DOES A SITE VISIT WITHOUT TOOLS?

They sent me a video and report. Both plumbers looked at it and said there is still an issue with the boiler and this company don't want to hear of it. They just take your money and run.

So if you want a boiler that after 4 years is dying and on the way out, or a manufacturer who won't agree to fix anything properly, then this is certainly the company for you!

The facts speak for themselves.
Email to company 4/3/22, titled "leaking boiler", with pictures of the rusted pipes, can you fix it? No mention of hot water issue because there always was and has been hot water.
Email 3/4/22 following engineer's visit- the boiler is STILL leaking. What did you fix?
Email 12/4/22 from the company - they 'fixed' the boiler (whatever that means - even my plumber was scratching his head), the leak is from the "sleeve of a pipe on an elbow joint beneath the boiler"

My plumber attends and sees that in fact the leak is from a pipe directly disconnected from the boiler. Engineer reattends the property.
Engineer wattsapp me on 9/5/22. He found the pipe leaking from the boiler (which he obviously missed on his first visit). Engineer claims it is not a boiler fault.

2 plumbers state this pipe only leaks when there is an issue with the boiler. Maybe an installation issue (not installed correctly) but regardless, a boiler issue which was not picked up first time around and not fixed on first or second visit.

Engineer on the phone tells me it is a quick fix and if he had his tools with him he would have fixed it. Maybe if you'd record your calls you'd be able to play this back.

My plumber never said I didn't want to pay him to fix it - he couldn't even quote me because he said he couldn't get the parts he needed because no one stocks the parts as your boilers are obviously not very popular for a reason and he recommended a different company. Just like I recommend going to a more reputable company.

I've had my boiler for over 5 years.. no hassle, totally reliable, efficient, and economical. Any time I've wanted to check something, Jessi has been really friendly and helpful. Jaz , one of their engineers came out last week for a service (well after 5 years, I can't can't complain). He came quickly, was polite and friendly and the service was very good value for money. This boiler is a great investment.

Excellent service, Jaz was friendly and very helpful. He managed to come even after his last service to help. Managed to solve the boiler issues quickly and resolved it. Was super helpful and went the extra mile. Made sure that everything was sorted before leaving.

Our engineer Jaz was excellent!! Fixed our boiler in an hour and was the first person to actually explain all the functions.

I really struggled to find a company to deal with electric boilers. Eventually coming across electric combi boilers.
Everyone was really helpful and knowledgeable from the start, and it was an easy smooth process.
Thanks to Jaz who knew immediately what the problem was and fixed it there and then. Polite, professional and made a stressful situation very manageable! Very happy with the service and highly recommend.

It’s early days but this boiler seems to do the job as expected. It is a neat and tidy replacement to the old calor gas boiler ( no mains gas available ) and provided the option to reduce costs with renewables ( Solar and Wind).

All the people we talked to were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They had lots of experience and advice. The reviews were helpful too.The electric boiler we've got is fantastic. We can have hot water at a reasonable competitive price and a nice bath. On a slightly more demanding setting, which costs a little more we can have showers and/or run a decent deep bath and re-run it whilst you're in there. It's not very much different to the gas boiler we had before, so it's very effective that it does this on quite a different system. It's a bit more expensive for heating but we don't yet have a thermostat or timer. It can heat our radiators a lot and instantly which we've been incredibly impressed by. We're figuring out how to get the best from it now that electricity prices have increased. When it's on in the night (Economy 7) it gives us hot water for hand washing and washing up dishes (as it stores the water in its tank, similar to an immersion heater), but makes no impact at all on our KW usage - so seems free!
We're planning to get solar panels, so this boiler will be even more cost effective in the future.
It was all packaged incredibly well and the instructions for fitting were very clear - it was exactly what they said it was and what we expected.

I tried a number of dodgy companies and wasted a lot of money before I found this one, and what a relief to find people who were professional, efficient and knew what they were talking about. Engineer Jaz was fantastic, really friendly, helpful and most of all, he knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem straightaway, and not only fixed it but also gave the boiler a service and explained in clear and simple terms how our heating system worked. There was no need for a replacement pump as other firms had told us, so we got the whole job done for the basic fee. I highly recommend this company.

Good information and service but have been charged for delivery even though your engineers are installing the boiler and collecting it from your depot.
Update:- information regarding refund of the delivery charge found in my Spam account. Engineers arrived on time and worked efficiently and cleanly. Delighted with the product and service.

I had a bespoke query about 1 of their products that was for a use other boiler use. It meant I detail I needed required a bit more patience than the usual queries.
The contact replied with concise info & was also pleasant, meaning I could buy the product with a reasonable level of confidence it was suitable for my purpose.
The part arrived promptly and it works exactly as predicted.
