I would not even give this company one star!! What a complete joke and I hope they go out of business. I ordered a jacket for my son in November, 3 weeks later the jacket has not been shipped and they cannot give me any information on when it will be shipped. They claimed it is due to moving their warehouses. Then TAKE CARE OF THE CONSUMER and refund or be clear when they place the damn order!!! I’m so sick of these companies screwing over the consumer when they would not have a company without the consumer!! I will never order from them again and suggest everyone else do the same!

Not sure I'll ever receive my online order. Almost 2 weeks and still nothing. Unbelievable in 2024 when other companies can ship to you within a couple of days.

No information a week later on my gift card. The money was taken from my account, but the confirmation number I received from the site at time of purchase is coming up as invalid in their system. Customer service is going on and on about a coat I purchased at the store the same day. They apparently don’t understand pictures (sent photos of order) or that a coat is not a gift card (two totally different topics and purchases)

Do yourself a favor and shop anywhere else. Literally, anywhere else…

Do not buy from this company tired to get a winter coat for the winter and still in processing status. No email updates or anything. Won’t cancel my order and won’t ship my item. Was going to be a Christmas present but guess I’ll have to figure something else out

Ordered the coat on Monday received it on Saturday, well worth the money, packaging was excellent, product in excellent shape, am very satisfied with the service and product, I originally was nervous because of the bad reviews i read, but this transaction went smooth and perfect. I give eddie bauer a 5 out of 5. Highly recommend!!

Placed an order for my Alaska daughter's Christmas gifts. Went in 9 hours later to see what was up with it and noticed they had my address for shipping and her address for billing. I had to type in her address when I placed to order so I'm sure I didn't mess that up. Tried to call & have them change the addresses. No luck with that. Evidently once one hits "place order" nothing can be changed. I placed that order 9 days ago and it is still "in process". Talked to a representative and was told the items should ship in 4 more days. Once I get them, call Eddie Bauer and they will email a "free" return label. My goodness what terrible "custome service' Like their products but their service sucks! Companies wonder why their revenue is going down? Well, DUH!

I am very disappointed with the service from Eddie Bauer.

It's the festive season so I start early to spread the cost. I purchased a jacket 30th Sept, didn't arrive till like two weeks later.

At the beginning of Dec my son told me the jacket from his wish list was too big he'd need a smaller size.

So I go on line, purchase another jacket. ( which can you believe is not being shipped till the 19th, I ordered the 4th)

We take the bigger jacket to the store, cannot return because I was 4 days past the 60 day return policy, even though I didn't actually receive it till after this date... I contact customer service with again no luck to return the jacket.

It's Christmas, be careful people. If youve baught something at the beginning of Nov as a Xmas gift. You may not get to return it!!!

Needless to say I will no longer purchase anything from Eddie Bauer & will tell everyone I know - fastest form of advertising is word if mouth.

i ordered something on Nov 23, the order status showing in process forever, i called many times, CS said they still don't have exact shipping date can tell me, the service is terrible!!!!

Absolutely Awful Company!

Purchased a coat on October 27th. Company delayed shipping for 2 weeks! I was NOT notified that the coat was back-ordered or delayed. I was given NO option to cancel the order. I was given NO option to change the shipping method from Canada Post due to the pending strike! The coat circled from the warehouse to Burlington, to Toronto, to Ottawa before becoming lost after the 13th. I live in Nova Scotia.

I have no coat. I am out the money for a coat I have never received! Let's be clear about this, EDDIE BAUER HAS MY MONEY! When I contacted customer service, I was told I can return the coat for a full refund when (IF) the coat is delivered. I bought a coat because I needed a coat! I can't buy another until I get a refund for this debacle! If Eddie Bauer can't take responsibility for its shoddiness and errors, they no longer deserve my money. And I'd recommend you spend your money elsewhere as well!

And just so we're clear on your pathetic semantic games, a strike that was announced and forecast a month in advance IS NOT UNEXPECTED! Get better messaging!

If I could give less than one star I would! I have called customer service multiple times regarding an order placed and paid for two weeks ago. I have been told it has shipped when it hasn't. When I ask name of carrier the agent cannot provide information. I have asked to speak with a supervisor and told one will call me back when available. Instead of a call I get an email telling me to contact "live chat". Essentially, I have been lied to and I have been told I cannot cancel order (even though it hasn't shipped). This is fraud in my opinion. Do yourself huge favor and order from LLBean !!!

I ordered 2 shirts from Eddie Bauer and it has been nearly 2 weeks and they still haven't arrived. This is ridiculous and I don't recommend them.

I ordered on November 14th I received an email saying it was processing. It hasn't even left the warehouse. This was supposed to be a christmas gift. They won't let me cancel my order. Nor will they tell me who the carrier is who will be shipping said items.

I have been wearing Eddie Bauer since I was a 13-year-old kid. Sad to say I will never purchase another product from them because of the customer service I'm mistakenly ordered the same jacket twice online I don't have a product at hand and when I ask for a refund I was told that I have to wait for the arrival of the product and then send it back what an inconvenience another chapter in my childhood closed Good riddance

I put an order 30 days ago and there is still one item not processed! I called 3 times and every time got the same answer saying the item would be shipped in 24 hours, and it never happened! this is cheating!

Ordered jacket as Christmas gift 9/21. It was of poor quality and wanted to return. Because it was past 60 day, would only offer 20$. So in other words if there was a problem on Dec 25 you could not return. Lousy customer service.

It's the same tired story, Eddie bauer makes some great clothing but their customer service is miserable.
We completed an order only after I confirmed that as Canadapost was on strike, EB would be using an alternative carrier. Guess what folks, they lied to me.
I contacted EB chat after Landmark Global [ the worst shipper in existance ] indicated to me to contact Eddie Bauer about alternate shipping as Canadapost was on strike ? No kidding.
Ruben, the EB chat hamster, had no idea what I was asking about and disconnected me before I could complete the inquiry. This senario is so common these days where bad customer service translates to customers walking away regardless of the quality of the product. After two decades, we ARE DONE with Eddie Bauer.

DO NOT ORDER BOOTS OR LUGGAGE FROM EDDIE BAUER
Eddie Bauer is not accepting returns of boots or luggage in their stores. Because of the Canada post strike there is no way of returning your order online.
I asked if I can use a different courier and that isn't possible. Their answer: "Wait until the strike is over and will inform you". They leave their customers without answers.

I bought items online, read the return policy that said I can return within one year of purchase. However, when I went to the store, they won’t let me return because they said their policy changed to a 60-day return. I reached out to the customer service via email and had exchanged numerous emails (been months now) but to my surprise, nobody understood my situation and sentiment. They would not give an exception to even exchange items! I was already nice to take exchange as an option instead of getting a full refund but still, they won’t let me exchange.

I don’t recommend shopping here if you are expecting good customer service. Their customer service is the worst and I agree with what the other customers are saying.

Disgusting. Emails back and forth where they ignored the circumstances I communicated and just sent cookie cutter information repeatedly. Then 50 minutes on a live chat, 3-7 minutes between replies. I was charged for and received a double order (2 of same thing in separate packages). I never got emails at all so I didn’t have an order number. I gave them names, delivery address, billing address, phone numbers, email addresses, they couldn’t find the transaction. I wasn’t even trying to get money back, just exchange one for a different size. I like the coat but NEVER AGAIN. They have certainly lost this customer.
