Bank is charging interest on non activated card to add further they never sent email or messages on mobile prior to 23 Nov 22 on these charges (1500). When I spoke to customer care department they can’t help me and took complaint request. Meanwhile this is impacting my cibil score and charges are being raised day by day. Not a good customer experience. Totally fraudulent service. Never apply for their credit card even it’s for free. I would really appreciate if bank can take corrective action by reversing my charges (which I am not liable) and cancel this card (which I never used)

The only good thing to console myself is, i'm one of the hundreds of victims of this dubai first card.

The sales person cheated me saying the card is free for life. I dont know how a big famous bank like first abu dhabi bank(FAB) is letting this happen to their customers.

There was no SMS/email with the bank statement, so I was surprised when i see the recovery mail saying AED 1200 is due. When I call the customer service, they are so cool saying "Yes sir we don't send SMS or email".

Please refrain from this card/bank.

Dubai First One of the worst bank in UAE. Dubai First don’t care about their customer satisfaction. Their team including Call center, complaint section team, their managers are very rude in talk and behavior. They are not professional, not ethical. I had very very worst experience with them, they steel my money and imposed wrong charges on me. When I complaint to the concerns team of Dubai first , then they told do whatever you want. No excuses, no courtesy with their even premier customers. I wold give zero star to Duabi first and will never recommend to take Duabi First Credit Card, even they offer 1000 AED Wellcome bonus instead of 300 AED Wellcome bonus . First they will give 300 AED Wellcome bonus and later they will take 3000 AED back. So please never prefer to take Dubai First Credit Card. I am very disappointed with them.

This is the most pathetic service I have ever seen. They change the terms and condition without notifying the card users. I am charged annual fee without any consent. That also they will waive only if I do a high value transaction on this card. This is against the standard card policy. I urge everyone not to use this card. It's too much of ghost charges on this card.

Truely I got a very bad experience from dubai first customer service. I got a fraud transaction with my credit card,, when I informed them they did not take any action, escaping like I was cheated someone. 😠😡😡😠😠😡. Try to help your customers, it's not my request, shld be ur responsibility. Then only u'll succeed

I received a cash back credit card from Mr. Imran Bhatti with phone number +971 56 666 2089. I have never seen bigger fraudsters than Dubai first credit card sales team. Stay away from there fraudsters. Serious action should be taken against these scammers.

The agent did not informed me that this card has annual fee. I have to pay 400aed for the next statement bill. Also the security is very poor. Someone swipe my card around 875aed and i keep reaching the bank regarding this matter. And they keep on passing me everywhere. I have other cc in other banks, no annual fees and using it for years. Never did i experience being scam. And this dubai first, still did not reach 1year, i get scammed.

Cannot Trust It,

Card renewal fees applied, 399 AED, but when I received the card it was informed. it is a free card !!!

the charges are applied 2 days before the payment date, then directly after 2 days, because of this amount . they add 275 for over limit !!!! very bad experience after 2 years I decided to pay everything and close it immediately

Worst bank I ever seen.one of their agent Mr.sajith vamanam he told that card is free no annual fee so we took.after a month 420dhs deducted when we called they said they can't do any thing we need to pay this type of fraud agent make loss for the customer.
Do please don't take this card this is my worst bank card ever take....

Beware of the company and it's sales persons. Don't believe their promises of annual fee waiver. They will not respond once u get the card. Their customer support is never going to support you . They will ask us we already accept the tearms and conditions at the time of application. And the most important thing is its not matter if we activated the card or not They will charge annual fee on the application day , if we are activating after 4 month there will be more than 2000 outstanding. So I am advising all of you don't believe the representative who comes with FAB id card. They are doing frauds not banking . They are trying to steal from our pocket I think their major income is annual fee and fines. Annual fee is ok but they should disclose it before...
I wanted to tell about the representative, his name is Kashyap, now he is not picking my calls, no reply for my messages.
Guys I belive u got an over all idea about their service and what they are doing .... so please please don't apply this card ....

Never take this credit card. I was told that there is no annual maintenance charge for the credit card and within 2-3 days I was charged around 400 plus as annual maintenance charge. When I call the customer care to raise this concern regarding the same they don’t just told me they take action against the staff who gave the wrong information, but I will have to pay the annual maintenance.
Secondly, never use this card for cash withdrawal from ATM. I used this credit card by mistake for withdrawing 100 aed. I called the customer care to get a solution for it, the only solution was paying the processing fee of 105 AED and the interest amount.
The bank don’t value the customer.

Don’t ever take this card…They promise that annual fee will be charge after the activation of the card and I should spend 1k within 45 days then they will refunded to me however the sales called Hinna she apply for it while I am on vacation and she was aware that I will not be on the country for 2 months when I am back after 2months they charge AED 420 and they confirm to me that 45 days should be from initiating date not activation
the card initiated by end of august and I received the card from aramex on end of October when I called to activated I was choc that there is annual fee charges and late payments fee charges. Pathetic customer service; they don't even want to listen—no proper communication
The response from their complaints team and manager Mrs Leila is what ever the sales told u we are not responsible and we can’t do anything is bank process
This is fraud or cheating. So my advice is don't take this card this will be a real headache for you.
I request them to cancel my card , they told me to pay the annual fee then only they can process the cancelation...

ABSOLUTLEY FRAUD CARD

The bank and its employees are a bunch of cheaters and liars.
The Sales person sold me a credit card stating that the annual fees is waived off for the first year I did not activate the card for nearly 2 months and they have sent me an email with accrued charges of over 1220 dirhams being the late fees charged at 42% interest on the outstanding of annual fees.

This is a request to everyone, please stay away from these buggers

Don’t ever take this card…They promise you its free and then charge you an annual fee of 450 Dirhams . Then you call to cancel and then they refund. Next year again same issue. They charge you annual fee. I called the customer care the supervisor was interrogating me like I’m some criminal. No manners no courtesy nothing.

Don't ever take this card, this is trap and there is so many hidden terms and conditions.

this bank robbed me already. and still giving me a hard time as i need to wait 2 months to request a clearance. requesting to update my accounts on al etihad credit bureau (AECB), till now nothing happen.

One of the worst experiences to use Dubai First credit card, at first the agent told me that it's free for life, surprised that they are deducting 399 AED at the next month with out notification and late payment fee 230 AED vat on late Payment 11.50 AED +vat on member fee AED19.95 Total=676.50 AED The bank is charge me also the customer services very bad & rood untrusted unsecure experience & not recommended

Guys please be very careful dealing with Dubai First Credit Card
They are looting people, Below is my experience with them since 1 year.
I got the card as they were showing good cash back benefits and all... but later they change the benefits and reduced the percentage still i was fine but when i checked my cash back they were cheating there too i was not getting the cash back as they had mention, when i called and checked with them they are saying its a technical glitch with the vendor.. i said its not my issue i am not getting the cash back but they said they were helpless as always.. hence i decided to close this card, its more then 2 months now i have paid extra amount for the closure also, still they haven't closed it, every time they give some different excuse, its pending for approval with the managers, or we are waiting for the reversal of the card fee, you wont believe i have sent for closure of my card on July and still they are charging me their yearly card fee in Aug & Sept, this is really a crazy bank, when customer has already asked for closure in July how can you charge your customer yearly card fee and all, if you want money in this way pls ask that we have to pay our employees salary pls donate some money for the closure. Please be very very careful before applying for a card guys. i am still suffering for a closure. i am going to file a complain to central bank now this is getting delayed a lot now.
