Passed with a couple of minors thanks to my instructor, Aki whom I highly recommend. He was punctual, reliable, funny and supportive, what else could one ask for, especially when going through the heart wrenching stress of learning to drive and passing tests. Thank you Aki!Five stars for you.

What an amazing expirance would recomend aki to anyone he goes beyond what he need to, makes you feel totaly relaxed and calm throught every lesson best teacher ever :)!!!!!!!

At the end of February, when I first approached Phil at DTS Driving School, I urgently needed to pass the practical driving test and begin driving as quickly as possible. Phil quickly assessed my driving (which was dreadful – I hadn’t taken a lesson in nine years – but which he was very generous about) and came up with a realistic timeframe for us to work within. My calendar is quite erratic, so Phil then worked to ensure he was available for regular lessons whenever I was free.

Rather than taking a narrow approach to passing the test, Phil methodically took me through all kinds of driving, emphasising safety, anticipation, and control. He is a flexible, responsive instructor who gives observant feedback grounded in real-world driving. He’s also a kind, patient man with great taste in 1970s action-chase films. I always looked forward to our lessons, which were consistently constructive, and we made rapid progress. Thanks to Phil’s work, by the time it came to take the practical test last week, I was surprised by how straightforward it seemed.

Phil tailored my lessons to exactly what I needed, and I know he has worked with a wide range of students, from complete beginners to trainee driving instructors. I would enthusiastically recommend Phil and DTS Driving School to anybody, particularly if your aim is not only to pass the test but also to feel safe and well-prepared on the road afterwards.

I had a few different instructors before Aki and had a high anxiety whilst driving, as a driver over 40 it seemed impossible to improve and to pass my test. Once I found Aki he changed it all around and I have now been driving for almost 3 years, thank to his patience and teaching skills. He is the best.

I never thought I would be able to drive, aki believed in me and supported me to believe in myself.

I got in contact with Aki after having trouble finding an instructor that I could really get along with. Aki was wonderful - listened to my concerns and anxieties, and took into account previous teaching experience while building my confidence drastically. He also made lessons fun! I wish I had found him the first time round, and would thoroughly recommend his services to anyone, whether they’ve just started learning or have had lessons previously.
