Well … where do I begin. The coach was 30 minutes late to arrive at our designated pick up location. Which we were told to arrive 10 minutes early for. The coach dropped us a 5 minute walk away from the Salt Mines. We then had to wait half an hour in the pouring down rain to just get into the entrance. After the tour we were left without a tour guide as promised. A group of 20 of us walked back to where the coach dropped us only to find no coach and no guide. After 3 calls, another member of the group got through to tell us it was an hour wait. Half our group had been taken back without us. After over an hour wait in the rain someone came over to us and made us walk 5 minutes to the local train station to get the coach. When we got on the coach, the driver unbelievably laughed at us all over the speaker and proceeded to say ‘call the company if you’re unhappy’ then said we were the ‘lucky ones’ as he had actually bothered to come and pick us up. This was sold as a 4-5 hour trip and has now totalled 7 hours with no food or drink offered. Avoid this company at all costs if you are reading this!!!

Jeżdżąc melexem chciałam zwiedzić Stare Miasto i Kazimierz ale pojazd jeździł głównie ulicami z samochodami, bo prawdopodobnie nie mógł wjeżdżać na Stare Miasto, to nie miało sensu. Jedynie zwiedziliśmy Kazimierz. Polecam sprawdzać melexy, mają specjalną etykietę pojazdy, które mogą wjeżdżać na Stare Miasto ten nie miał.

There was an accidental switch of dates for auswitzch concentration camp tour to the 17th of July from the 16th July due to our mistake, but Discover Cracow came through and accommodated us very well into the 17th. The tour was professional and meaningful, full transport provided and everything ran smoothly. Definitely worth a go!

We were supposed to go on a tour to Auschwitz starting 10:00 am. Late in the evening the night before our booking, we received a message informing us that the pick up time is moved to 07:15 am. Impossible for us to manage, ruined our trip. The message was sent less than 24 hours before the start of the activity, so it was too late to cancel and get a refund.
We realised that our money was lost, and had to get up at 5 a.m. the next morning to be there in time for the trip. At the meeting point we met 8-10 other groups of tourists who had experienced the exact same, although with original booking times varying from 8:00 a.m. and until 12:00. Everyone had received a WhatsApp at around 17:00 the previous day, bumping their time slot to 07:15. Apparently this scam is a conscious repeating pattern, as online reviews keep repeating the same story of last minute alterations of schedule to squeeze everyone onto one bus. The company claims they do this due to a lack of available guides at the camp. In truth there is only one departure per day, as a cost saving effort.
There was no guide on the bus. Once we arrived at Auschwitz camp, it was absolutely chaotic. We had to wait about 40 minutes for entrance tickets to be sorted, and once we got them entry times were varying from 10:00 am until 12:00, meaning some guests would have to wait 2 hours outside before entering. The others would have to wait in the bus for 2 hours after completing the guided tour, in order for the 12:00 party to finish. The lady guide from Discover Cracow was shouting at guests when they complained about this. The bus didn’t return to Cracow until 18:00, making it a 9 hour trip, without any meals. The overall impression is that Discover Cracow is a very unprofessional company with little concern for customer satisfaction. Stay away, get another guide.

Całkowity brak profesjonalizmu. Wycieczka po Wawelu z przewodnikiem wykupiona z wyprzedzeniem, miała mieć miejsce 02.05.2023 o godz. 10:00. Docieram na miejsce zbiórki, a tam pusto. Okazało się, że wycieczkę przełożono na godzinę 13:00 i nikt mnie o tym nie poinformował. Plan na ten dzień całkowicie się posypał, nie polecam.

I am rarely one to complain but this is by far the worst experience I have had with a booked experience/ tour.

We were told by our tour guide Adrianna by text to wait at the bus stop in Oswiecim. Next to one of the bus stops on our journey was a sign for reading Oswiecim. Seeing others get off the bus we reasonably assumed this was the bus stop Adrianna was referring to. We soon found out this was the bus station and one stop away from the museum.

After waiting for 10 minutes for a response from the guide team we were told to get a taxi to the museum (at our own expense.) Once we arrived at the correct bus stop we were left waiting for another 20 minutes before Adrianna finally arrived. Upon raising our annoyance that we had now missed 30+ minutes of time at the museum Adrianna immediately became hostile and began shouting at me, saying it was our fault since others had arrived and we had been told to get off at the last stop. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the most belittled I have felt in a very long time.

What could have been 15 minutes of lost time due to bad communication ended up ruining the whole experience due to the awful attitude of the staff. We were rushed around the museum and still ended up missing a significant portion of Auchswitz. We are visiting from the UK and paid significantly to come here only to have our trip ruined. On top of which we are yet to receive any response or apology from the supplier.

I am disgusted to have paid for this service only to be spoken to like a child and miss significant parts of a museum that it’s unlikely I will have another opportunity to visit for a long time.

Absolute disgrace I feel scammed. I traveled from Dublin to Kraków with my partner and her autistic sister with the intention of visiting Auschwitz for her birthday. Less than 14 hours before we were supposed to be picked up it was cancelled via email. I rang GetYourGuide because this is who I booked through with Royal Cracow to explain that I have travelled from Dublin to Krakow to visit Auschwitz and they said all I can do is pay 250% more than I originally paid and that I would have to travel to a different town (over an hour away) to be picked up. The person who I spoke to on the phone was extremely unhelpful raising there voice at me being extremely condescending and saying basically they couldn't do anything that he would pass on the information to his supervisor as he was not there and i would have a response in around 3 days. This ruined our whole holiday as me my partner and her autistic sister were extremely upset (rightly so) and this was the only reason that we had traveled here for it to just be cancelled less than 14 hours before (by ROYAL CRACOW ) it was scheduled to take place! I will never use them ever again and have never felt so scammed in my whole life.

Attention mauvaise surprise sur ce produit : en fait la compagnie (discover cracow) réserve un trajet sur la ligne express à condition que vous ayez confirmé la veille sur un prétendu mail. Pour notre part on n'a pas eu ce mail et on a du payer le trajet. Arrivé sur place, une personne vous attend et vous donne un guide d'une valeur de 10 zlotys (2 euros) et va chercher des entrée gratuites au guichet. Il est convenu que vous commenciez à visiter Birkenau (gratuit) puis que vous reveniez au Museum (Auschwitz I) vers 16 ou 17h car à partir de cette heure, les visites sont gratuites en individuel. Ensuite cette personne vous donne l'heure du bus retour mais ne sera pas présente. Le chauffeur du bus retour (la ligne Express Cracovie-Auschwitz) ne nous avait pas dans sa liste. Après appel à la compagnie qui devait appeler le chauffeur, on a du payer le retour (38 zlotys) et bien entendu personne n'a appelé le chauffeur. A éviter !

Firstly, we were picked up by Tour Guide from the hotel reception. Secondly, during the drive to Oswiecim, she explained the plan for the day clearly. At the end of the trip, we were dropped off at the same point.
We are impressed with Tour Guide - Joanna's knowledge and professionalism and talent.
The bus driver was friendly.
Thank you very much for the company and next time we will book the trip to Salt Mine with you.

DICOVER CRACOW TOUR.

Just got on the bus to go to Auschwitz, hope the rest of the day gets better as getting on the correct bus was a shambles, too
many white buses and to many people at the kiss and ride pick up point opposite hotel maltanski.
This could be made easier by telling people which bus they must get on in advance, as all the white buses look the same. It was absolute chaos, I'm very disappointed.

Excellent service which made a memorable trip. I would recommend for future bookings. Staff friendly and informative.

We had a fantastic experience at the Wieliczka salt mine. It was truly amazing and for anyone having any doubts, go for it, you will not be disappointed!

Visited Auschwitz and birkenhau, tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and passionate about this traumatic time in our history, suggested further reading and information delivered with care. However, this tour is not for people who want to reflect, elderly or who have mobility problems. It was a march from beginning to end, with only respite 5min comfort break, no time for drink, catch breath, take photos or visit shop or why I went there, to reflect. The impact of the visit is therefore lost and is likely to become more commercialised in future. Needs space and change to timings

We were a Schindler's factory tour. It was excellent! We learn much more for The occupation of Poland, Krakow's ghetto, extermination of Jews and of course about the movie. Our guide,she was just excellent. She told thinks so intence , that i forget take a pictures,She also take customers consideration. Just perfect tour.

Really efficient their communication was excellent and we had a really good time. Not for people that are claustrophobic - the lift at the end was quite crammed in but thankfully it is really quick. The salt mines themselves are beautiful and definitely worth a visit.

We used this company for both our visits to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines (over 2 days) and we found both trips extremely well organised and very informative.

We would have no hesitation in using them again on our next visit!

I'm sure the salt mines would have been a great day trip, however the shuttle bus never showed up to collect us. We were in the exact pickup location and we were 15 minutes early. The number that was provided just rang out. So not the best, Have been told that we will not get a refund.

Used this company for a tour of Auschwitz- I have been there a couple of times before and of course a very emotional and educating visit. Something everyone should do when visiting Krakow.

Overall a very good trip- I found the pick up location was good and quite easy to find- it's literally a 5 minute walk from the main square. It feels like it's the only place in Krakow where you can park if you're a bus.
We were picked up around 7:30am and then headed to the Museum which took around an hour. We were back in Krakow by 2pm, and then had the rest of the day to spend. Our guide was good, she told us she didn't do the tour much in English but she did so well, and everyone wanted to listen to her.

When you meet with discover krakow you are made to wear giant blue hearts- I don't know if there's a way for Auschwitz you can be given something else- I feel like giant blue hearts with discover krakow could be seen as a little disrespectful in a place where many people died, and where people were made to wear symbols on their chest.

My only feedback is about the stickers.

Overall very good trip and would recommend.

We chose Viator to visit Auschwitz. Personally I found the meeting place for the tour a bit unorganised, several groups all waiting for different buses and tours. No real structure or any reassurance that we were in the right place. So May be a rep could be present. Once in the tour bus were were advised we would met a tour guide this we did and were given our tickets - but she was not the guide another lady was.
The tour itself was fabulous lots of information and really well put together.

We had an excellent tour of Schindlers factory on Thursday 9/3/23.
I used Discover Cracow to get my tickets. We were told to meet the guide 10 mins before the tour time started which went without any problem. Can't fault the service and would recommend the tour.
