The app seems really great so far..
The app seems really great so far... I'm using it with my 6yo and I find I need to sit with her to help her understand the tasks.
The only negative so far is the music that plays throughout which makes the spoken words quite difficult to hear. Maybe I haven't found a way to turn this off but it seems counter-intuitive to play music over the top when trying to clearly pronounce and teach foreign words... 🤔

Learning french for upcoming trip
My kids (5 & 3) are enjoying the French lessons with cute graphics. The games are fun for them as well although I find them a bit basic.

Great for kids but some technical difficulties
We are happy that our kids like the lessons. The only issue is that sometimes the sound and videos don’t work and we have to log off and try later.

Soon boring
The idea is good. However, it is very repetitive, always the same structure and therefore soon boring. The app would need more different kinds of excercises and would need to be more playful for young kids to enjoy. I don't think the subscription is worth the current state of the app.

The app was amazing and my daughter caught on quickly to the lessons. The only thing she had difficulty with was navigating where to go next because she isn’t a fluent reader yet.

Hard to find contact details to ask a…
Hard to find contact details to ask a question about the program. When I did find it they did reply quickly. There is no speaking component in the course (like DuoLingo for example) and that is a very important component for us. My kids already understand Dutch as I speak to them in Dutch but they reply in English. A language course without a speaking element is an incomplete course. My kids 10 and 8 found the content too childish and repetitive, even when switching to the 11+ content, which has same pre-school animal pictures as the younger version. There isn't a way to adjust the level, like Reading Eggs have an entry test so the program sets to their level before starting. I feel Dinolingo is more suitable for pre-school & prep kids.
