Really good and solid product, and amazing customer support. One of the few blockers that really works on Linux natively, and it does it well.

The app works exactly as described and their customer service is amazing. You usually have a response within a few hours and an update that fixes the issue on the next day at the latest. As a student, this app is a game changer

customer service is so quick, app is so capable of blocking. you don't need any alternatives for digitalzen at all. it's quite nice to have some options in linux for these kind of productivity apps too. in this era of limitless attention seeking websites and apps, digitalzen is a relieving garden with motivating messages when you also feel like giving up :)

good customer service, and the app works as described

I really liked this software, which is compatible with Linux (I'm on Linux Mint 21.3).
You can activate pre-installed categories to block several types of websites at once.
For example, I activated:
- Limit social network usage
- Take a coffee break at the end of each hour
- Stop using the computer at night
- Block adult websites
When the block is activated, you can choose to postpone it for a certain amount of time or disable it for the day.
You can also, for example, configure each category to be disabled on certain days.
It's a fairly easy program to use and configure.
Whitelists have been added recently, and a smartphone version may be coming out soon.
I recommend this software, which has helped me start making better use of my time on the computer.

I recently made the move to a linux operating system from windows but as a person that gets easily distracted by the internet, I was missing a website and app blocker that helps me reduce the time I spend surfing the internet over being productive. This app pretty much checked all the boxes for me. It blocked websites, it blocked apps, worked on linux, had schedules, allowed me to lock blocks, easy to use, and was a nice user experience overall. One issue was that I missed the whitelist feature I had from a blocker when I was on windows. I contacted them about it and they quickly added the feature to the app. Would highly recommend this app if you were thinking of transitioning to linux and need a good blocker.

Digitalzen is a fantastic internet blocker that really does the job, backed by super friendly and helpful customer support. They even revamped the whole app just to sort out my issue! For someone like me, the best part is that it works exactly as advertised. No sneaky ways to get around it, so you can focus on what you need to do. Absolutely recommend it, much better than the competition!

Great tool for those who are looking to improve their focus and efficiency while multitasking

Digitalzen was a game changer for me. I started using it to help me tame my tendency to waste time on twitter/bsky, but I really fell in love when I realized I can use the focus feature to really push and get things done.

"Digital Zen" is perfect in many aspects.
I have been trying to find a good app to make me focus on my important tasks, because I'm used to procrastinate a lot.
After much digging, I stumbled across "Digital Zen", one of the few, if not the only app I found related to screen-time-control that supports Linux! I'm currently using ZorinOS, so it's a big win! One other thing I'd like to point out is how the support team is responsive! I sent them a Ticket using their ticket-system and I got a response after a few minutes only!
All I can say to the "Digital Zen" team is, thank you. Thank you so much for providing such a useful app for people that have struggles like I do.

I have been using DigitalZen for almost one year now and I'm very happy with it. I tried several productivity apps but most didn't "click". However, this one works really well for me so far. The Focus Mode, app/website blocking - all works seamlessly and being able to use it on all my devices (browser as well as desktop) is a huge bonus.

I use the focus mode to work without distractions, which in turn helps me make more money (business owners need this!) and learn new things.
The app is also easy to use, I like the style, and the price is really reasonable for the efficiency it brought back to my life. Also, when I did need customer service - it was approachable, kind and even funny at times (thanks!)
