Digitalzen Anmeldelser

I’ve been using DigitalZen on my Mac for a few weeks now and it has honestly changed how I work. Setting up focus sessions and blocking distracting sites is dead simple, and I love that it syncs smoothly with my workflow without slowing anything down.

Customer support was super friendly and helped me tweak settings to fit how I work.

If you’re a Mac person who actually wants to get stuff done without constantly flipping between tabs, DigitalZen is worth trying.

Their superb customer service deserves a 5/5 on its own but they seem to be working hard maintaining linux (even though hyprland isnt supported and hence many of the feature dont work - but this was specified by the team and they have said they are looking into supporting hyprland as well) Great company and great app

Very good app so far. A bit tricky to get up and running and get it doing what you want it to do (I had to reach out to support to figure some things out, although they were very helpful and responsive; I think I also had to uninstall and reinstall at one point early on), but works well once you get to that point.

I like the different options that you have to choose from in order to restrict things (code, cooldown, friend, money, or schedule) - the flexibility to set up which one you think will work best for you is really handy. The one thing I would change here would be some longer cooldown options (2 hours is currently the maximum).

The flexibility to create different categories to block, using preset categories, websites, or even keywords, is great. Years ago I used K9 Web Protection, which allegedly had keyword blocking, but it typically didn't work. DigitalZen's keyword blocking is 100% effective as far as I can tell.

Another useful thing is that you can add websites/keywords/etc. to a block category without unlocking it (but can't remove them without unlocking), which is well thought out.

And it works on Linux unlike all of the other similar apps.

The support agent was straight forward and helpful, answering my questions in regards to DigitalZen's website blocking features and even restarting my trial session for the app, so that i may try it out myself.

Very responsive and helpful support. When I reported a bug with their browser extension, they initially couldn't replicate it; but a few hours later, they figured it out and fixed the issue.

Not only is the app really useful and easy to use. But, when I noticed a bug with how the app connected to my Brave browser extension, I reported it and they had discovered the problem and scheduled an update for the next day. The update fixed the problem and they gave me an extended premium free trial as thanks. Very generous. Big thanks to Maya for the great customer service :)

When I switched from Win11 to Linux I found myself in need of a new software-blocker for my sleep hygiene. DigitalZen seemed like the best option and I bought a lifetime license. The software had trouble blocking Steam and Grayjay so I sent a bug report, and while it took some back and forth and a few updates to iron out the problem I am incredibly impressed with their response time and communication.

Wonderful product and superb support – Thanks a lot!

got all my queries cleared. super helpful and responsive. thanks!!

This is a great app! Despite its bugs, I was able to use this for my addiction.

Fantastic product. The only "focus" application I've found to work on Linux. I came from Windows and used a different product (FocusMe) but it didn't work even though they said it would.

The customer service is A+ as I've reported bugs and always gotten a response back in a few days.

The customer support was great. I got timely responses and got DigitalZen working very shortly after. It has only been a week but I've so far very much enjoyed the service and think it will be very beneficial for me going forward. Thank you!

Over the years, I've used a number of focus tools, but DigitalZen feels truly unique. The user interface is simple, easy to use, and never intrusive; it simply performs its intended function. The customer service was particularly noteworthy to me; it was prompt, helpful, and obviously run by caring individuals. From the user interface to the entire experience, everything seems well-considered, and using it on a daily basis has been enjoyable. Anyone searching for a trustworthy focus tool should definitely check it out, especially if you're using a Mac

I'll start off by saying that what's TRULY amazing about digitalzen is not just the app itself, but the support. Never in my life have I seen such a team committed to helping their customers. Never ever. They've always treated me well, answered my questions, and even given me a 3-month free trial. I just love them.

Digital zen truly is heaven-sent. I can finally focus on my tasks without getting distracted left and right. I've also blocked all adult websites thanks to it. it's been such an awesome experience, and I'd pay thousands and thousands of dollars without issues if I had to. as long as it helps me and my business, it deserves every single penny it costs.

Thank you so much!

I use the application to improve my focus time and organize my workday, and I really love it. The app does a great job — it keeps me focused and reminds me to take healthy breaks. These breaks help me stay active instead of being stuck in my chair, and they give me a moment to clear and organize my thoughts.

I use macOS for work and DigitalZen is the first tool that has been able to keep me focused and not get in the way. The app is able to block some of the other apps that typically distract me, the process on a Mac is seamless, and I really like how the extension for Chrome syncs. I’ve tried other block apps, and this one is the most reliable and feels the smoothest. They have great and fast support as well. If you're on a Mac and want something that actually helps you stay on track, I recommend this one.

Really great tool for anyone that wants to wean off digital services.

I have been using other tools for some time before finding this one and I wanted the option to have a timer for how much time I can limit one site for.

It seems like a really important setting but none of the desktop tools had it until I found DigitalZen.

In the 5-6 months I have been using it, the tool has really improved and keeps getting improved every day.

The support of the tool is one of the best I have seen so far. In most tools, when you find a bug it takes like a year to fix it, and here things get fixed in a few hours.

Highly recommended

While i wasnt able to have my own issue solved (an issue with my own computer, not the app itself!) i appreciated supports pacience with me and them trying to help me fix an issue with my linux even when it wasnt their duty to do so. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, very appreciated.

I have been very impressed by this app and also the customer support. There is great customisability, and the locks are very sturdy and difficult to bypass for those who need this/those who like a locked down feel.

There are a lot of great features, arguably all you'd need. I believe that tools such as these are incredibly important nowadays, so that you can make sure technology is enriching your life as opposed to taking away from it.

For me, coming from apple's in-built screen time (which is by no means bad), this app is a real big upgrade. I made use of the block scheduling and ability to set lots of different types of blocks.

I get the feeling the app is being maintained and constantly improved - it feels like a very active development. Lots of updates and it is very easy to provide feedback etc. It definitely feels like the people behind the app really care for it too, which is nice! Also the Linux support is greatly appreciated - I hope this is kept up always!

Overall it's a really great app and I just subscribed with a student discount, after using the free trial. I am very happy with my purchase!

Thanks
