Formal Notice — Disputed Account under Active Regulatory Review
I am writing regarding your recent correspondence (Ref: ENN1716100010), in which you assert that E.ON Next has instructed your company to pursue collection of an alleged debt on my account.
This account is formally in dispute and subject to ongoing regulatory review by the Energy Ombudsman’s Independent Assessor (Ref: EG052172-25), the Ofgem Enforcement and Compliance Division, and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Tue figures you are quoting are incorrect and inflated by illusionary and illegal charges placed by Eon.
Accordingly, your involvement is unlawful and in breach of the following regulatory provisions:
FCA Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC):
7.3.4R — A firm must not press for payment where the customer disputes the debt and the firm has not yet investigated the dispute.
7.3.10R–7.3.14R — Firms must exercise forbearance and due consideration for vulnerable customers.
Ofgem Supply Licence Conditions 0, 0A and 27 — Fair treatment, consideration of vulnerability, and proportionality in debt recovery.
Ofgem’s Fair Treatment of Customers in Debt Principles (2023) — Explicitly prohibits referral to third-party collection where a dispute or ADR process is ongoing.
Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (Reg. 7) — Prohibits aggressive or coercive commercial practices.
E.ON Next is fully aware that:
I am a verified vulnerable consumer with and severe financial hardship (as evidenced by the FCA compliant December 2024 Income & Expenditure submission) which they have 100% ignored.
The dispute has been under formal ADR and IA review since 2024; and
Any enforcement or data-sharing activity during this process is strictly prohibited.
Your involvement therefore constitutes a regulatory and legal breach, for which both E.ON Next and The Digital DRA hold joint responsibility under FCA and Ofgem jurisdiction.
I therefore require that:
You immediately cease all collection activity, contact, or credit reporting in relation to this account;
You provide written confirmation of account withdrawal from your systems within 7 days of this notice; and
You confirm that no data relating to this disputed account has been, or will be, shared with any credit reference agency.
Failure to comply will result in a formal complaint to the Financial Conduct Authority, Ofgem, and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for breaches of FCA CONC, Ofgem licence conditions, and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The website information was easy to use. I found they had plenty of way to pay a debt for final payment. Payment plans that they had was good. Also I don't have to put loads of information down I filled in no more than 10 boxes. Your information is already filled in my this company I didn't need to do it. I filled the boxes picked my plan and it was all done. Plus they will send a text and email near the time to remind me.

I have received two text messages asking for me to contact DigitalDra in relation to an EonNext account, which is clearly not mine. I have responded via Whatsapp to advise that they had the incorrect phone number, but have now received a further text message. I cannot find a phone number to contact them, but have sent them an email. I really shouldn't have to waste my time trying to get them to remove my phone number.

I emailed the company abt me moving to universal credit and wouldn't get paid for five weeks and the girl Charlotte was very helpful and understanding and gave me a 60 day non payment they also said if I need more time to pay to email them I couldn't thank Charlotte enough for her help I would definitely give this company more stars if I could

They are 100% online, so it is very informal and removes a lot of the pressure you can feel under on the phone.
