I went in store knowing what I wanted after being in there the day prior, they helped me with the sizes and recommending how I'd fit everything in the small space I have by swapping parts of the sofa in different places which was really helpful.
So big shout to Pamela for her time and thoroughness in helping me.

Obviously you have all the extras that get thrown your way when buying but they do tell you and are quite happy to let you know you can decline all of them if you wish.

We appreciate her hospitality.
If we need to order more, we will ask her to choose.

The show room was well stocked with a verity of settee and chairs in a number of styles and colours. I went back after a earlier visit were i had talked to a very helpful assistant how had given me some very helpful advice .
His name was mark and I could tell when he gave me the advice he was not just interested in making a sale but understood the customer need the right product.
On my second visit to the show rooms I waited to talk to mark again and ended up getting a different more expensive settee and chair and was very impressed with the service.
I could see when I was in store all members of staff had the same work ethic

Friendly efficient service and highly recommend DFS as always reliable. David was friendly professional and helpful.

Great service by Patrick easy and simple to buy our new sofa

Really disappointed with my experience at DFS Gateshead. I was told by Lewis when I bought my sofa that if it didn’t fit, it could be remade into smaller pieces. After two failed delivery attempts, I was then told this wasn’t possible.

It took over a week for the store manager, Lee, to call me back. When he finally did, he spoke to me very dismissively, denied what I’d been told in store, and tried to charge me 20% for an order that cannot be delivered. I now have no sofa, no resolution, and they still have my money.

The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism from both Lewis and Lee has been shocking.

The staff in the shop was excellent the lady we talked to first and Mark.

Process was straight forward and simple in store. I was seen to by a female member of staff, unfortunately I cannot remember her name however she was absolutely brilliant! Answered every questions perfectly and explained the process easily

Well informed staff , very helpful especially Mark , happy to order a suite , nice atmosphere in the store .

Patrick was very informative and helpful with the order, covered all aspects of the sale and was polite and respectful throughout the two times we met up with him

It’s great experience talking to representative on 9th June evening while completing purchase formalities. He made it simple and straightforward. Thanks for helping us in finding correct product in best price.

The sales advisor was very helpful but not pushy. He quickly found out the specific requirements i had, showed me the range that would be suitable then left me to browse before coming over later to see how i was doing. I bought a corner sofa and footstool that will be great for the holiday house i am renovating.

Spoke to Paul salesman, who answered all our questions and gave really good information about suite, explained all options and care and cleaning advice

Mark was very helpful but also gave me space. As it happened I happily settled with the most expensive chair option, but he did encourage me to consider all others too, which really increased my trust in him a lot.
