Really friendly staff, great service
Went in store to look for a new gaming monitor, then realised most monitors in store were 60fps and for office work rather than gaming. I told the staff and they totally understood and showed some online they could order in for me. They gave me recommendations on what I want in a monitor for the type of gaming I do and they asked the games I play. The staff were really really friendly and that’s what makes a good shop. I ended up buying one of Amazon but if I hadn’t gone in Curry’s I probably wouldn’t have the good monitor I have. would definitely recommend as they don’t press a purchase on you and are happy to give recommendations instead.

My Kenwood microwave was still under…
My Kenwood microwave was still under warranty when I discovered that the paint on the roof inside was peeling off.
I returned it back to Currys & was told to choose another one. I informed that that I didn’t want another Kenwood. That was ok so I chose a Panasonic one. Sorry we do t have that in stock.Currys had about 14 microwaves & 8 of them were Kenwood. After choosing 2 more only to be told the same thing not in stock. I settled for a Panasonic off of the shelf. No box no manual 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Currys have poor stock control.

Purchased a phone 2nd Sept
Purchased a phone 2nd Sept. Server ok but not great. Was told phone would be delivered to store Friday 4th and I asked if they could set phone up for me as I am 79 and not as good as I thought you are. Was told no problem it would cost £25 and when I picked it up it would be set up. When I returned on Friday was told I should have made a appointment. And would have to wait which they could give me no waiting time. So when I said I will have a refund they suddenly found a young lady who was very good. The last part of downloading was going to be about 20 mins which was fine. When I went to pick it up she was not there. So another person said all done. When I asked if sim had been put in new phone, he checked my phone and said it doesn't have a sim. So new one doesn't. When I got home I had to get my grandson round and my phone did have a simcard and he transferred it to new phone. I feel poor customer service. And it was not worth £25 when they didn't do up properly. Nothing was explained to me and the one question I asked they for wrong. Use you for most things but not ever again

Rachel that served me was absolutely brilliant, I couldn't have the fridge freezer in store and she went out her way to find another that was close, she was very helpful in always, she had patience, as I'm 70 yrs old, I have bought quite a few appliances from Currys in upper Brighton road and all staff have been very helpful
