I bought a AEG washing machine from…
I bought a AEG washing machine from Currys, and they delivered and installed a unit with both sides badly dented—I’m not sure if the damage occurred during transport to my home or while it was being moved in the vehicle. It made an incredible amount of noise from day one; naturally, I needed to figure out the cause, but I was then hospitalized for a while. As soon as I was discharged, I called Currys, only to be told for repair period had already expired; however, they did send a technician. When the technician opened the top panel, he discovered that both sides of the machine had caved inwards, crushing the motor—which was the source of the terrible noise. They had delivered and installed a defective product, causing me a great deal of trouble. I spent days making endless phone calls and dealing with reference numbers and reports, having to visit Currys repeatedly. I even got a parking fine in the Currys car park while trying to sort out the return using the reference number. It was an incredibly frustrating ordeal.

I was running errands in London
I was running errands in London, and realised that I needed a USB stick as my original Amazon order had been indefinitely delayed. A nearby branch of Currys allowed me to order and collect a dual PC/mobile USB stick within an hour of ordering it on the go. There were no problems with this. Currys' closest competitor had a similar stick, but it was uglier in design and a little more expensive, so I am glad I went with Currys. In-store, an attentive staff member called Dylan came to help me pretty quickly. He was super helpful. All went well.

Customer service at checkout was outstanding.
I have purchased many things over the years from Currys in store and as I can appreciate that at times staff are stretched and most purchases are made on line these days its not always been a good service however this time around it was outstanding. Ismail went above and beyond taking his time to explain the process assisting me with a workaround for purchasing something that was online but paid for in store with cash. The goods were delivered to my home address the very next day. Good communication from all departments and delivery company. Well done Currys you've got it right and I will be back.
