I bought my Hisense TV from Currys Reading. I knew what I wanted, so I didn't need much interaction with the salesperson. However, I had to wait to ask for a salesperson to come and deal with, which I thought was very poor. Otherwise, saleperson was very helpful.

Every time I have used Curry's their knowledge is very good, leading to spending more on purchases but the advice and extra spend was worth every penny

They fulfilled their promise of giving me a new fridge/ freezer when the other one got faulty

Went with to the store and met with a few known people within the community for a confirmed release within the store.

The items were wheeled over to the front from the back of the store.

Before even selling the release, the worker at the till was making excuses of there only being 1 of the hot release item.

We called the store out immediately on the lie of only having 1 of this item delivered on the day and was met with more excuses.

After buying different products from the release we were catching up outside having a chat and time has passed by. We notice a separate customer walking out of the store with the item they claimed to have no more than 1 of, which just goes to show that staff hide these items and sell them to people they know or for themselves.

If you are looking to buy #Pokemon cards there. Do not waste your time. There have been reports of ongoing selective sales happening there with one person being refused and the next person being aloud to buy. I was refused a Prismatic SPC as was someone after me but while he was still talking to them someone else then bought one.

Today it was 1 of every item i was told. By the time i got there it was only 2 items per person. I asked for an ETB and an ex box but the manager said none left, but was looking where i reckon they were. Then he said No Sylveon ex box or tins. So i asked for Grininja ex and Tin and he said ex box are not in stock and looked where they were. Then i just got 1 tin and he said "1 item per person now" even though the lady in front had just got 2 (and her husband was limited to 1 item before her). I said no I'm getting 2 items because the limit isn't magically 1 half way through our conversation. I said i want an ex box. The Manager got out a binder collection. I said no I want an ex box. He said i need to say please which I already did at the start of this torturous purchase. I didn't yield to his superiority complex and control issues. This ex Box then magically then appeared when it was out of stock 30 seconds earlier. i took my things and left! The husband of the lady then also complained and magically got another item.

Absolute Clown Show there today! More stories from the community today of ETB being sold out then someone later spotted leaving with one half hidden.

I went to store in reading asked for help with coffee machines woman came over after waiting 20mins for someone. I asked her about machine she said she didn't know about coffee machines I ask her to get someone who know about it she said there wasn't anyone else.
I got more help online than in shop.
Very dissapointed

Disappointed that the LG monitor advertised as viewable in store was online-only which only found out when I arrived in store. However, ordering was easy. FedEx delivery tracking was poor and it arrived outside the stated time window.

the service from currys was very good the young lady who served us was very knowledgeble and explained the details of the washing machines and both delivery men were very polite and efficient the machine was delivered at 8.10am which was good for us as it left the rest of the day free and we were not left sitting around waiting for delivery.

Very short time for preparing the order and delivering it.

We ordered a iphone 13 refurbished and they gave us a new I phone 17 then they told us to return it And wait even longer for the delivery

I purchase a dual fuel cooker from Currys in Reading
I have been having problems with the oven burning everything. I can't even bake a decent cake in the oven
I have had 3 engineers visits but the problem is still ongoing
I have written letters to Currys with no response. I have visited the store on several occasions but cant get the problem resolved, always given a difference response. I have visited the store again today, 7/9/26
All i got was another engineering booking after spending around 2 hours in store
All I want is a replacement cooker that can do the job that it claims that it can do, but all im seem to be getting the run around from Currys

The worst customer service, specially the young girl on mobile phone section. She was so rude in helping out.

Never ever going to come to reading store with this service attitude.

Oxford store is far better than them.
They should learn from other region. How to serve people and with a good smile rather coming with an attitude.

I came to the store a couple of times.
Met a young lad naned Shorbit.
He was very helpful and gave very good advice on the laptop we bought.

In store, the staff was helpful and I left with a suitable product.

Our purchase was ready for us on arrival at the branch in Reading. A quick check of ID and we had our purchase and where on our way.

Fantastic service from Teo, he was knowledgeable and extremely friendly.

Surprisingly exceptional guidance and product selection in store for such a complex but significant computer fundamental.

Curry’s were great, efficient and quick.
I would recommend you considering a change of delivery, the post office left my hoover, which was unpacked, at my front door where everyone could see, they did not ring or knock to let me know, I have no idea how long it was there, anyone could have taken it,
