What's happened to you. Went in to buy a TV and told to speak to the person in a green hi Viz. Waited 10 minutes as he was trying to sell mobile phone plans to a couple to be told to wait. Waited 10 more minutes to watch him walk around with an iPad pairing people up to staff doing nothing! New the TV I wanted just wanted to buy it. Got told by the cashier he will be 5 minutes and when I did speak to him passing got told he had 2 more people waiting! Went to Argos and bought it the same price and within 10 minutes from ordering to collection. Will not be back

Ben helped me without selling things I did not need, using interest free made it an easy expirance. Thank you Ben.

I am writing to compliment Stuart at the Chelmsford branch of curry’s for his exemplary customer service.

I purchased a fridge freezer from the showroom stock on 10th August and received brilliant assistance and information from him then. However when the item was delivered it was damaged and the delivery men also managed to cause some damage to my front door and limestone floor. I refused to accept delivery and they took it away.

I went into the store expecting just to be offered a refund and Stuart arranged with the manager to replace the damaged item at no extra cost. It was then delivered and installed perfectly.

Due to Stuart’s professionalism I have gone from being very cross and vowing never to use Currys again, to being very impressed and happy to tell everyone how well Currys have dealt with the issue and sorted it out rather than fobbing me off, which is unfortunately what I have come to expect these days.

Kudos to Stuart.

⭐ Very disappointing delivery and customer service

I bought a dishwasher from Currys on Monday and paid an extra £35 specifically for NEXT DAY delivery.

The dishwasher arrived the following day, but unfortunately it had been damaged in transit. I then had to go to the Currys store myself to arrange a replacement.

What I find completely unacceptable is that, despite paying £35 for next-day delivery, I was told that the replacement could not be delivered until Friday.

So I paid extra to receive my appliance quickly, Currys delivered it damaged, and now I have to wait several more days for them to correct a problem that was not caused by me.

To make matters worse, I also had to bring the damaged dishwasher into my home, where it now has to sit and take up space until Currys finally collect it on Friday.

What exactly did I pay the extra £35 for?

I understand that things can occasionally get damaged during delivery, but when a customer has paid extra for next-day service, I would expect Currys to prioritise the replacement and resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

Very disappointed with the way this has been handled. I expected much better customer service from a company like Currys.

The ease of finding what I wanted on the website, the delivery options and most of all the speed that my purchase was delivered for free (the next day after my order).

I was served by a kind employee who took his time to sell me the correct product which was out of stock. As a result, he gave me options for a possible order and the pick up method. The product arrived, to my highest level of satisfaction, on that very day he had mentioned, thank you very much 🙂

The Sales staff were good, however due to a malfunction in the ordering process in the store, I am now waiting to be reimbursed £840, not a small some. I have been told I will have to wait 7+working days before I get my money. As the issue was caused by a Currys failure my view is that the money ought to have been put in my bank the next working day .

Good Service

We seemed to be a long time in the store. My husband went to find someone. The first person was not very helpful. We managed to find someone else he was much better. He did need to go and get the right code to access the sale which seemed to take a long time. But we did get sorted eventually.

The staff was knowledgeable and explained well. I was well informed and able to make a decision on what I wanted to buy

The member of staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was also very an accommodating and patient. The store did not have the item in stock but it was ordered for next day delivery.

Sales person has good knowledge of products, talked me through different options.
